In this review, I’ll look at the Get Motivated Seminar to see if it’s the best motivational and investment course available today.

Alright, so the Get Motivated Seminar doesn’t exactly fit into a nice category.

At the end of the day, motivational seminars is a… unique way to think about making money.

It’s certainly possible to make money with off-the-wall businesses like this, but unless you’re interested in taking years out of your life to experiment with an unproven business model, I would look elsewhere.

My #1 personal recommendation if we’re talking about starting a fully-online business has got to be the Lead Generation & Ad Agency business models.

What Is Get Motivated Seminar?

The Get Motivated seminars are one-day seminars offered in cities across the country. Motivational speakers will be present at the sessions, including notable people like:

• Zig Ziglar
• Bob Kittell
• Steve Forbes
• Laura Bush
• Richard Nash
• Colin Powell
• and Rudy Giuliani.

 The Speakers:

Joe Montana – His tips focused on fundamentals and preparation. Something he discussed that I found advantageous was “aiming for perfection.”

In case you miss it, you’ll most likely wind up doing very well. If you strive for mediocrity and miss, you will not do it effectively. Paying attention to details is the thing that can help you get to the goal.

Laura Bush – The key themes I got out of her speech revolved around democracy, individualism, and freedom.

Two books she pointed out in the course of her speech are on my reading list, “To Kill a Mockingbird” & “Uncle Tom’s Cabin.”

Tamara Lowe – She was promoting a book where 100% of the proceeds head to charities. However, she marked down the book to everybody at the seminar.

This might look like she’s sending the wrong message. If your profit is going to charity, would not you wish to provide them more money, not less?

Steve Forbes – He described the achievements of McDonald’s and the way it had become the great business they are these days.

Also, he stated that to be successful, you don’t need to invent something new; you simply have to utilize a product better than anybody else.

Zig Ziglar – Zig suffered a terrible fall before and has since developed vertigo and short-term memory loss and usually comes on stage with his daughter, who guides the conversation.

James Smith – He began mentioning how we must place ourselves to help us succeed in the game of life and can accomplish this through property investing.

He pointed out tax liens about real estate investing and other areas.

Who’s Behind Get Motivated?

Get Motivated, Inc., a company based in Tampa, Florida, runs Get Motivated. According to the business, the workshops are designed to hone your business skills, spark your creativity, strengthen your effectiveness, and boost your income.

The New York Times, People Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal are just a few notable newspapers that have complimented Get Motivated in the past.

How Much Does The Seminar Cost?

An event like this may come with a hefty price tag. Costs are $225 at the door for those who wait until the day of the seminar to purchase their tickets.

However, the average ticket price for those who purchase theirs in advance is just $4.95 per person. Additionally, the website claims that tickets for an entire office only cost $19. The offer looks too good to be true.

Others point out it’s too good to be true, mentioning that Get Motivated is all business, and a business should have adequate money to deal with its expenses. Along with leasing away the venue, Get Motivated workshops have live music, polytechnics, and special effects.

The company boasts that although it charged higher prices for tickets in the past, it’s selling tickets inexpensively during these tough financial times.

So, that inevitably begs the question…

How Does The Company Make Money?

The company says it intends to entice attendees to utilize its materials in the future for business-related purposes, including in-house training, speakers at events, and consulting services by offering an exciting experience, great prices, and exceptional customer support.

Additionally, the business offers workshops that people can purchase for additional training. Purchasing Get Motivated workbooks is another way to get income.

Attendees can buy these workbooks to go with the workshop, which has a workshop certificate of completion for buyers.

Many of these revenue-generating activities are reputable but appear insufficient to cover the expense of the functions.

The Sales Pitch Inside Get Motivated Seminars

However, the corporation also has additional revenue-generating strategies that are less noticeable until you call to order your ticket.

Seats at the very top of the center or hall are available for purchase for $4.95 each. Better seats closer to the stage are available for an extra $30 to $50 from the Get Motivated customer sales agent over the phone.

The attendee can also be encouraged to buy a Get Motivated workshop workbook for an additional $4.99.

A likely worry which has produced complaints is the extra sales presentations at the actual workshop.

Although Get Motivated promises to not promote something further at the workshop, that doesn’t prevent the speakers from marketing their products.

Put simply, Get Motivated might not be transparent in what goes on with their seminars.

Customer Complaints Summary

The speakers may sell motivational books, tapes, or other products, and attendees may spend a lot on them.

Some claim the group lures people in with well-known celebrities like Colin Powell so that other speakers may utilize them as captive markets to pitch and sell their goods.

Some people have brought out Get Motivated’s use of bait rates in its pricing strategy. Get Motivated leverages low costs to attract customers to get them to purchase more expensive seats and workbooks.

Many people support this strategy, saying that customers have the freedom to reject the more expensive seats and still attend the session. However, attendees should also be aware that a cheap and well-attended seminar likely has some catches.

Many folks look at the product sales pitches as a tiny expense to pay for being ready to hear famous motivational speakers offer guidance on business. Since Get Motivated does offer tickets for the publicized costs, its pricing tactic is genuine.

Nevertheless, even though the technique could be legitimate, it doesn’t always make it honest.

Is it right to attract customers with meager costs, wishing to persuade them through sales agents to buy higher-priced items?

Can it be acceptable to let speakers advertise their products with very long product sales pitches to an unsuspecting market? It’s your call!

Can You Realy Make Money With The Get Motivated Seminar?

The Get Motivated Seminar will not teach you any direct skill; but rather, it’s all about having the right mindset. If that helps you with growing your business, then Great!

But be careful that you don’t fall into their sales pitches because that thing could lose you money instead of helping make you money.

Is Get Motivated Seminar Legit?

Yes. It’s a legit business seminar. However, people often complain about the products sold at the event.

The Securities and Exchange Commission sued Investools in 2009 for making false claims to customers for decades. According to the SEC, Investools got a $3M civil penalty.

The original Get Motivated seminars went down in 2012 when the recession hit founders Peter & Tamara Lowe. The former Christian evangelists likewise became embroiled in an unpleasant, high-profile divorce.

From the ashes, a separate company operated by Tamara Lowe’s brother, Brian E. Forte, took over. Forte used to run the first “Get Motivated Activities,” but his brand new organization is known as the “Get Motivated Event.”

But, when it comes to building a business, you have plenty of options.

And even if you’re dead set on becoming a trader or investor, you’ve got way better options than the “Get Motivated Seminar.”

Is The Get Motivated Seminar A Scam?

Time for the $1,000,000 question: is Get Motivated Seminar actually a scam?

I wouldn’t technically call it a scam, though others might.

It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.

What I’m saying is: after buying, someone will in fact send you a login to a website where you can actually view their material. No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.

But the second, more important question is: is the Get Motivated Seminar actually worth the investment?

My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.

There are countless other business models that are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?

I’d rather have a program with thousands of successful students & plenty of room for others to join.

Alright, time for me to get real with my lovely readers for a moment:

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

I’m not saying the Get Motivated Seminar isn’t worth it, I’m just saying you need to be very, very careful.

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried, and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.

4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with motivational seminars is that you’re basically only helping yourself.

But With the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off-the-wall business models like personal development and maybe hit it big one day.
