Summary

The training curriculum is comprehensive but isn’t constantly updated to fit Google and Facebook updates. The mentorship and community LMV offers are top-notch, as you get access to a Facebook group and weekly live coaching calls.

What I liked
James and Jason are both digital marketing experts, which means the strategies they teach are what they've used to grow their businesses.
You get access to a private Facebook group, which means you'll get to learn from others and have a community throughout the program.
Running paid ads on Google and Facebook is a good skill to have and is easy to start if you know how. That means beginners can make money if they learn this skill at a basic level.
What I Didn’t Like
You need to be good in sales to make headway with this program, which means if you aren't, you'll probably make way less than you can with this program.
Retaining a client is hard, especially with this business model, as not too many business models are willing to pay the past three months for ads. This means you'll always be in a rat race looking for clients.
Account suspension is also a possibility when running paid ads. This means you'll always be on the lookout for new updates on your clients' accounts to make sure everything runs smoothly, and that's a lot of work.

TLDR – What’s The Verdict on This James Bonadies Review?

Local Marketing Vault Cost

If you’re the kind of person who likes things simple and to the point, here’s my take on what I think of the Local Marketing Vault program and this James Bonadies review.

Should you join the Local Marketing Vault program? My answer is No.

Before you jump to conclusions, it’s not because I hate the Lead generation business model; actually, as you’ll find out later in this article, I love it.

Also, James Bonadies and Jason Mckim are the real deal. Legit, through and through. So here’s why I wouldn’t recommend Local Marketing Vault.

First, this course largely focuses on teaching how to create effective ad campaigns that can help you generate leads for small businesses. This program relies heavily on Facebook ads and Google AdWords for the lead generation strategy.

With Google and Facebook being the top three most popular apps in the U.S., leveraging their popularity for an online business seems like a smart move. But, when it comes to Facebook ads, there’s a lot that goes into it.

Let’s first acknowledge that with it being a really popular app, there’s also an oversaturated market for ad agencies. Breaking through niches to make real money becomes a struggle when the competition is already swarming. More competition means more cash to scale up, and your profit margins take a hit.

Second, over-saturation of Facebook ads means landing your first paying client might not happen overnight. Tough pill to swallow, especially if you’ve dropped thousands to kickstart your online venture.

Still, on the topic of niche ads, not every brick-and-mortar business is keen on Facebook ads or Google AdWords.

Why?

Well, your client foots the bill for the ads, so they stick around only as long as they can afford it. Plus, getting leads from ads becomes tricky if people aren’t interested.

For example, if you’re selling them on calling a personal injury attorney, and they’re healthy, they won’t click on it. It doesn’t matter how great an ad may be; if someone doesn’t need that service, they’ll simply ignore it.

Getting the right clicks for your clients could take months. Programs like Local Marketing Vault make it look like a walk in the park, but the reality is a different story for small businesses. What they don’t tell you is that for small businesses, this marketing strategy might not work.

There’s also the issue of patience. Business owners won’t keep giving you cash if they’re not seeing results. Most, in my experience, give it three to six months before pulling the plug. That means they can fire you anytime.

Once your client is gone, you’re back on the hunt for new clients, which is a never-ending cycle.

This brings me to conversion rates. So, you get those clicks – great. But turning them into actual clients that’s where Local Marketing Vault falls short.

If all you know is how to create ads in an already oversaturated ad agency business, there’s a lot you’re missing in the background.

Try to think of Facebook and Google ads as Formula One race cars. Google’s AdWords is like a fast car. It’s awesome on straight roads (simple targeting), but when it comes to twisty tracks (reaching your target audience), it’s not as smooth.

Facebook has a go-cart’s resilience; it can handle turns well (it’s good at reaching people), but if it goes around too many sharp turns (people see the same ad too much), it ends up losing control (ad fatigue).

These drawbacks make it hard to complete the race, and you’ll only end up burning through cash you already don’t have.

What if I told you there’s a program that takes into account the conversion aspect of your ads? That program is Digital Landlord.

Every great race car needs an expert pit crew, and that’s what Digital Landlord does. You’ll need help ensuring these great cars (Facebook and Google ads) become unstoppable on the race track, gliding seamlessly through every twist and turn.

How does Digital Landlord do that? It takes all the great aspects of Facebook and Google ads and builds on them. You not only know how to create high-value ads, but you’ll also get to know how to convert those leads.

You’ll also not have to depend on Facebook and Google ads alone to make money. Digital Landlord teaches you other strategies you can use to generate leads that aren’t dependent entirely on these two accounts. This, in turn, helps you keep your clients for longer.

Who Benefits From The Local Marketing Vault Program?

Who Benefits From The Local Marketing Vault Program

As I said earlier, running a lead generation business is one of the best ways to create a semi-passive income.

It’s a legitimate way to make money and the basis of Local Marketing Vault. That being said, who is this program for, and who is it not for?

If you fit in the following criteria, this program might be for you:

  1. If you’re looking to start your own ad agency focusing on using Facebook ads and Google AdWords but need help figuring out where to start.
  2. If you’re a small business owner looking to boost your online presence within a specific location.
  3. If you’re a digital marketing agency looking to leverage the power of Facebook ads and Google AdWords to help your clients have a wider reach.

Who is this program not for?

  1. Anyone looking to start a passive income without putting in the work. According to this Trust pilot user, you’ll have to sell your services to local businesses at some point in the program, and that’s hard to do if you aren’t good at sales.
  2. If you want the best of the best when it comes to lead generation. The Local Marketing Vault program might limit you when it comes to the execution side of things, as it doesn’t go into the after-sales aspect of running ads.
  3. If you’re looking for an updated lead generation course that factors in the regular Google and Facebook updates.

Now that you know who this program is for, let’s look at the program’s 1,000 FT view.

The Local Marketing Vault Program- The 1,000 FT View of This Online Business Opportunity.

Local marketing scam

A big high five on making it this far!

In this section, I’ll give you a complete breakdown of this program and tell you what it’s really about. Let’s start with the basics.

The Business Model

If you haven’t caught on yet, Local Marketing Vault is a lead-generation coaching program that teaches you how to build your own ad agency, get clients, and give them results. This program leverages the use of Facebook and Google ads to help small businesses make money.

Unlike other lead generation programs, Local Marketing Vault does come with different moving parts. They include:

  • Prospecting-Learning how to find clients
  • Sales- convince business owners to pay you for your services
  • Media buying- learn how to run a successful paid ads campaign
  • Copywriting- learn how to tailor your ads in a way that targets the right clients
  • Design- Create landing pages/ design pages you can use to maximize conversation
  • Email marketing to follow up with prospects and clients
  • Automate- learn how to connect everything properly in one system

With all these moving parts, the Local Marketing Vault program offers some pretty valuable skills. It’s definitely a better business model than affiliate marketing or multi-level marketing, as it does bring in results for real people.

My major criticism of Local Marketing Vault’s business model is that other programs go beyond using Google and Facebook ads. They also teach the art of conversion, which is what small business owners want.

You can find out more about such a program here.

Results are important for small businesses; if you can’t provide that, they’ll fire you anyway.

Let’s meet the men behind Local Marketing Vault- Jason and James.

About the Guru’s- James Bonadies and Jason Mckim

About the Guru's- James Bonadies and Jason Mckim

Before we discuss the program further, let’s meet the founders of Local Marketing Vault, James and Jason.

I’ll start with James Bonadies.

Who is James Bonadies

James Bonadies review

James started off like everyone, looking for a recurring passive income opportunity. He had a comfortable career as a business education teacher. He also has a master’s degree in Business Administration and Supervision.

While he may have been at the top of his career, James realized that what he did wasn’t enough to give his family the life he wanted. That epiphany led him to quit his job in 2014 and start a business.

After trying various business models like Affiliate marketing, MLMs, and Amazon FBA, he finally landed on lead generation. This set him on the journey to becoming an SEO master, where he found his partner, Jason Mckim.

Who is Jason Mckim?

James Mckim

Jason got into the lead generation business for the very reason his partner did. He wanted to create a recurring passive income and take his health seriously.

Lead generation is what made it possible for him. Today, he shares his love for the program, focuses on his personal fitness, and shares lots of diet advice on Instagram.

Meeting James Bonadies was the turning point he needed to regain his life and health. James and Jason are both founders of the Local Marketing Vault. James is the face of the program’s front-end marketing, while Jason works primarily on the back-end system.

However, he hops into live streams with James and is always available for his students.

What are The Main Promises and Claims of the Local Marketing Vault Program?

The main promise the Local Marketing Vault makes is that it can help you build a solid business. You get to achieve this promise by running Google and Facebook advertisements for local businesses. Also, even if you aren’t technologically advanced, the program has several bonuses that make navigating these aspects easier.

But for you to make money online with this business model, you’ll have to put in the work. There’s also the issue of finances. The program is expensive and might be pretty steep for any beginner.

I’d also like to add that for this program to work, you’ll need to have solid sales skills. While Local Marketing Vault does offer sales training, it helps if you know one or two things about marketing. It might be hard to land clients like this Reddit user if you don’t.

What is The Cost of this Program?

So, how much does Local Marketing Vault cost?

Local Marketing Vault costs can range from $3,000 to $6,000. But if you can’t afford to make upfront cash payments, there are payment installment plans they’ll recommend. You can always make monthly and custom payment plans with the sales team. But for this, you may end up paying a little more.

Also, Local Marketing Vault offers a 72-hour money-back guarantee from the time of your initial payment.

If you want to access Local Marketing Vault Accelerator, you’ll have to pay an extra $997. LMV also recommends students sign up for their Agency Toolbox, which costs $97 per month. But it does come with a 30-day free trial.

While the Agency Toolbox isn’t necessary, it does help make your ad agency business services easy to manage.

Differences From Other Lead Generation Programs

There are a few differences between Local Marketing Vault and other lead generation programs.

First, Local Marketing Vault teaches the complex world of digital marketing by simplifying traditional sales funnels. Their streamlined process helps students cater to local business needs by generating efficient leads.

Second, this program focuses on marketing specialized niches, where a more targeted approach is essential. That means you’ll generate leads for local businesses in specific industries like Hair Salons, dog groomers, and more.

This can be a huge challenge as it can take months to get clients or generate leads, which is what this Trust Pilot user says.

Third, according to the numerous reviews I’ve read, the Local Marketing Vault has a great, engaging Facebook group. Making money online is challenging, but having a community to help you through every step makes it worthwhile.

Now that we’ve taken a deep dive into this program, It’s time I give my personal opinion.

Personal Opinion- Is There a Local Marketing Vault Scam?

Google adwords

One question you probably want answered is: Is there a Local Marketing Vault scam? My answer is NO.

If you’ve read my blogs for a while, you know I’ve had experience with lead generation. So, my opinion and advice on Local Marketing Vault is not just me blowing hot air. It’s based on the real deal and the reviews I’ve looked into.

The first thing I’d like to make clear is that you’ll always find a ton of negative reviews when looking for a program you can use to make money online. While there may have been people who’ve had horrible experiences with this program, that doesn’t mean it’s a scam.

With that said, how do you determine if a program like Local Marketing Vault isn’t a scam? Let’s take a few steps back from the Local Marketing Vault review.

There’s a lot that goes into choosing the right lead generation program. Some things I’d look at include:

  • The Guru’s experience: Does the guru have experience in lead generation? Have they run their own digital marketing agency before starting this program?
  • Training format and method: What training format and methods does the program offer? Is it an online or offline-based approach? Is there a coaching system set up?
  • Training material and curriculum: Is the program up to date? How relevant and applicable is what the program teaches to the current market?
  • The cost and value of the program: How much do they charge for the program? Is the cost worth the value you’ll receive at the end of the course?

If you’re still on the fence about Local Marketing Vault, consider these checkpoints before tossing it in the scam bin.

My Recommendation on This Local Marketing Vault Review

With a breakdown of some key factors to help you choose the right lead generation course, let’s use that as a guide to answer the burning question—Is Local Marketing Vault legit?

First, the positives:

Both Jason and James are experienced in lead generation. They know how to successfully leverage this experience to help local business owners. What Local Marketing Vault teaches are strategies Jason James have used to grow their own lead generation business.

Second, if you put your head down and work hard, making money online is possible. While landing multiple clients paying huge chunks of money isn’t going to be easy, it’s at least possible.

Now, shifting gears to the negatives:

These are the three reasons why I wouldn’t recommend Local Marketing Vault to many people based on public reviews of the course.

  1. According to this Trust Pilot user, one of the strategies Local Marketing Vault uses is sales. At some point, you’ll have to contact local businesses and convenience them to get started with social media and Google ads. But if you aren’t great with sales, your efforts will go to waste.
  2. While lead generation services are a great way to make money. There are aspects James Bonadies and Jason Mckim fail to mention. Your clients will have to pay for the ads and pay you, and that’s something not too many business owners would be looking to do. Second, it takes time to convert the leads from ads. Just because someone watched or looked at your ad, that doesn’t mean they’ll buy that product or service.
  3. The price of this program is too expensive compared to most lead generation programs available, which is something this Trust Pilot user mentions.

For all the uncertainty this program has, why not try a course that doesn’t look like a gamble? Click here to find out more!

With my personal opinion out of the way, let’s take a look at what this program offers.

What’s Inside- Local Marketing Vault Review

What’s Inside- Local Marketing Vault Review

At the time of writing this Local Marketing Vault review, this program is classified into three categories. Let me break each category down for you.

Local Marketing Vault Modules 1-21

Local Marketing Vault training program

This is the first category of the LMV training. Each of the 21 modules present in this category helps students learn a different aspect of lead generation. Some things you’ll learn include:

  • How to prospect and get clients
  • How to run ads on Google and Facebook for clients
  • How to scale your own agency
  • Learn the process of how to sell and close deals

Doesn’t matter how good your sales skills are; nobody is going to willingly give you control of their credit card. But with the right sales strategy, that’s possible. When you join Local Marketing Vault, you’re taught strategies like:

  • E-mail marketing
  • Cold calling
  • Cold e-mail and more

Local Marketing Vault Partnership Program

Local Marketing Vault Partnership Program

The partnership program focuses on the tech stuff side of things. For this category, students get access to a tech partner who will help them set up stuff for their business.

The LMV Accelerator program is a semi-private training with experienced coaches. You’ll get to learn support and have accountability to help you get your business off the ground. But you’ll have to pay an additional $997 after the $3,000 program payment to access this part of the Local Marketing Vault course.

Pre-Built Click Funnels Pages

Conclusion- Is the Local Marketing Vault Cost Worth it?

Overall, I think James Bonadies and Jason Mckim are doing a great job helping people start businesses using lead generation services. But their business model is flawed, especially because of all the tremendous work that goes into making this model worthwhile.

So, instead of having to take a chance on sales and not knowing how to convert those leads, why not take a chance on my #1 way of making money online?

What Is My #1 Way To Make Money Online In (2024)?

Make money online

Everything we do today is a Google search away. From finding the best restaurants to hiring a lawyer, more people are turning to reviews and ads online to find a business that fits their needs. It’s no wonder Lead generation is a go-to for most people to make money online.

But not every program taps into the potential this business model has in creating a passive income. Some either short-change you on the skills you learn or ultimately teach you outdated strategies that can no longer give you a head start in lead generation.

That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down, being a Digital Landlord.

Whether you’re a complete newbie or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, becoming a Digital Landlord is for you.

Why?

1)Time commitment: If you have an hour or two per day, you can do this. Even if you want to drop everything and commit fully, that works, too.

You don’t have to be constantly working to make money. The income you generate is recurring.

Imagine taking off for a month to places like Hawaii, Paris, National Parks, & other spots people only dream about – all while collecting dozens of little $500-$2,000 checks. It’s like a dream come true.

But it’s only possible to do it when you’ve separated your income from your time.

2) Complete control: You completely control everything, which means no one can take your business away from you. This is a huge difference from other lead generation models, where Google and Facebook can end you at the snap of a finger.

Local Marketing Vault focuses on the use of Facebook and Google ads, which means leaving your entire fate in their hands. Facebook and Google have been known to suspend accounts, and when that happens, it could leave you without clients, as not everyone is willing to wait out the storm, especially if their business depends on it.

3) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

4) Great Margins:

Being a Digital Landlord, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.

5) You’re Helping REAL People: When you’re a Digital Landlord, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other lead generation programs like Local Marketing Vault, which might work out.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.

If this sounds like you, click here to see how it all works.
