Any building job would be incomplete without the proper tools.

In this respect, your affiliate marketing company is much like any other business.

Building and selling affiliate websites have been so successful because people have utilized the appropriate tools at the right time…

They helped them grow and become more efficient as a company.

You can use many affiliate marketing tools and WordPress plugins featured here without any problem.

However, if you want to be a successful affiliate marketer, you’ll NEED to put some money into it.

This review will go over Affiliate Marketing Tools to see if it really is the best Marketing Tools out there.

You’ll learn whether affiliate marketing is the right online business for you.

In this Affiliate Marketing Tools review, I will dive deep into the upsides and downsides of these tools.

But before I can say Affiliate Marketing Tools is good, I have to ask a very important question: is affiliate marketing even worth it?

Like other affiliate programs, we get pitched an ultimate dream…

Run an amazingly profitable business where you don’t have to worry about anything – no products, no inventory, no shipping, no customer service.

The only thing you need to worry about is putting this product in front of someone that wants to buy it, and the rest is money in the bank.

The best part?

“You can do it from anywhere in the world!”

Sounds pretty great… but is it?

It is 100% possible to make money with affiliate marketing – the real question is: is Affiliate Marketing Tools the best affiliate marketing program out there?

Well, the most difficult (and therefore most valuable) skill in the internet business is driving traffic AKA getting people to visit a website.

Later on, I’ll talk about why it’s so difficult to drive quality traffic.

But for now, let’s just say it isn’t exactly an easy process (unless you have a proven traffic source for the exact product you’re trying to sell).

If you really break it down, is affiliate marketing much different than a 9-5 job? You work for someone else, sell their stuff, and they can fire you at any time.

You don’t really control anything, despite doing the most important part – driving traffic.

To be 100% clear, I’m not saying affiliate marketing won’t work. If you’ve followed my blog for long, you’ll know that I’ve made money myself as an affiliate marketer (selling women’s health products).

I have several friends that make over $20,000/mo as affiliate marketers.

What you don’t hear about is the $200,000 they had to invest UP-FRONT to start making that money.

But let’s suppose that you REALLY want to work that laptop-entrepreneur lifestyle.

What if there was a way you could build a legitimate recurring income stream?

Recurring income that doesn’t require:

  • Tens of thousands of dollars and months of time before seeing $1
  • Doing the heavy lifting, but only getting a small % of the sale
  • Living at the whim of another person that could take it all away if they feel like it

Something that could net you anywhere from a few thousand, to over $10,000 every single month, practically on auto-pilot.

A recurring income stream that you could build in a few hours per day, grow as big (or small) as you want, and doesn’t leave you at the mercy of another person?

If that sounds interesting, the Digital Rental Method might be for you.

It kind of takes the nice parts of affiliate marketing but transfers the control back to YOU.

That said, let’s continue with the Affiliate Marketing Tools review.

The List Of The Best Affiliate Marketing Tools

The List Of The Best Affiliate Marketing Tools

Here are some of the greatest affiliate marketing tools you may employ in each of the following sectors:

Hosting Tools

Hosting Tools

Before beginning an affiliate network, you must first build a website.

The first step in constructing a website is to choose the finest web hosting provider for your budget.

Google no longer accepts slow and inexpensive site hosting since speed is now a ranking consideration.

Siteground

Siteground

According to most articles on the topic, Bluehost is the best web host.

Each new customer they suggest earns them $65 in commission.

That’s fine.

However, I still recommend SiteGround because I think they’re an excellent choice for new affiliate marketers.

For just $3.95 per month, you get SSD hardware, PHP 7 support, and even a free SSL certificate.

P.S. I don’t mean Bluehost is terrible; I just prefer SiteGround.

Kinsta

Kinsta

Kinsta is the web host of choice for this and other important sites.

I choose them as my web host since they utilize Google cloud servers and are the quickest and most stable.

For $30 monthly (1 site), you get:

  • Hosting in a flash
  • Superb customer service
  • Daily KeyCDN backups
  • Week-by-week WP database
  • Virus removal
  • SSL certificates for free

Kinsta has a reputation for being one of the best web hosting providers out there.

Oh, and they have a terrific affiliate marketing program.

Page Builders & LP Builders

Page Builders And LP Builders

Making a website that is both useful and visually attractive is a daunting task for most affiliate marketers.

A website has never been simpler to build, even for non-technical people.

For someone who made his first website in Notepad.

Yes, text editor.

Nowadays, even a newbie can build a website in one day.

The key is to use a great WordPress page builder.

Here are my picks.

Elementor Pro

Elementor Pro

When it comes to building attractive websites and blog articles easily, I believe Elementor is the greatest WordPress content builder.

With a simple drag-and-drop interface, it’s fast and simple to use.

Most use Elementor Pro on all their sites, and it’s one of their best investments.

It was also the cheapest option at $49/month.

Thrive Architect

Thrive Architect

At first sight, both WordPress page builders seem the same.

Thrive Architect is meant for seasoned marketers, not beginner affiliates.

Thrive can be used to create affiliate sites, but it may be too “top-heavy” for that.

Thrive Architect is made for serious digital marketers.

Ss builders and Elementor are identical and offer the best value for money at $49/month.

Content Creation Tools

Content Creation Tools

If I told you that “….content is king,” you would pound me in the kidneys until I passed out if you believed I was insane.

That being said, it’s the reality.

You must ensure that the words on your page not only engage your human visitors but also provide Google’s bots with precisely what they expect to find.

This is what I use.

Grammarly

Grammarly

Grammarly protects you from bad grammar. Also, from the tongue.

Two versions: Free and Pro.

Using a Chrome plugin, you can check your grammar in Google Docs without leaving the app.

The Hemingway app and DupliChecker are bundled together in the Pro edition to provide a more comprehensive plagiarism detection tool.

Grammarly Pro plans start at $29.98/month, but annual plans start at $11.66.

Grammarly is a free affiliate marketing tool that everyone should use.

Surfer SEO

Surfer SEO

You may use Surfer SEO to evaluate your rivals’ sites in great detail and then get advice on how to boost your search engine rankings.

As far as I can tell, everything works flawlessly.

So I recommend including this tool in your overall SEO strategy for affiliate marketers and anyone else in the digital marketing industry.

The ‘Content Editor‘ plug-in for Google Docs allows you to optimize as you write.

If you let it, this can revolutionize your SEO. That one affiliate marketing tool you use and then wonder how you lived without.

Site Speed

Site Speed

Speed is now a ranking factor.

So, to compete with the big guns, your sites must load in under 3 seconds.

The good news is that you don’t have to be a web coding genius to do it.

WP Rocket

WP Rocket

WP Rocket is a premium WordPress caching and optimization plugin.

So you pay $49 per year per site to improve site speed.

WP Rocket is more than just a caching plugin, so it’s worth the money.

NitroPack

NitroPack

NitroPack is more than a caching plugin.

The beauty of it is that you don’t have to remember which features you want to use because the NitroPack team does it for you.

So for just $19/month, you can significantly improve your site’s ‘PageSpeed’ score.

Lead Collection

Lead Collection

The flaw in email marketing tools is that they try to be all things to all marketers.

And that’s usually where the issues begin; either their analytics are lacking, or their pop-ups are mediocre.

That’s why I use one, and you should too.

OptinMonster

OptinMonster

A/B testing and analytics features make OptinMonster a great lead generation option.

It also captures email addresses using “triggers” based on user behavior

Your form can be set to trigger on exit-intent, on-click, time-on-site, or even geolocation.

It’s free for 7 days.

Thrive Leads

Thrive Leads

Thrive Leads is another good lead generation tool.

But, you ask, what makes it unique?

Its drag-and-drop editor is the best of its kind. You also get tons of templates and powerful targeting options.

Simply put, Thrive Leads lets you decide where opt-in forms appear on your site.

Is there a catch?

The UI and reporting could both be improved.

Thrive Leads costs $69/year for one site.

Email Marketing Tools For Affiliate Marketer

Email Marketing Tools For Affiliate Marketer

It’s possible to send any offer to a responsive email list.

You, not Google or Facebook, control your email subscribers.

Now you just need the right tools to build your email list.

GetResponse

GetResponse

Many email marketing tools and platforms exist, but GetResponse stands out for its affiliate-friendliness.

Unlike some competitors, it does not penalize affiliate offers.

Emails with affiliate links will also be delivered more frequently, provided they aren’t spamming.

Price varies depending on subscriber count, but the cheapest package is $15/month for 1,000.

MailerLite

MailerLite

If you don’t need or can’t afford a full-blown email marketing solution, you should seriously consider MailerLite. The fact that it offers many of the same functions as its rivals at a much lower price.

Their ‘Free’ plan covers up to 1,000 subscribers, with 12 emails per month.

After using their ‘Free’ plan, you can easily upgrade to a paid plan.

Social Media Tools For Affiliate Marketers

Social Media Tools For Affiliate Marketers

Yes, social media is addictive and a time-suck for many.

In modern digital marketing, including affiliate marketing campaigns, it is vital.

However, managing social media can feel like a full-time job.

It doesn’t have to be that way if you use the right tools.

Buffer

Buffer

Social media can be a blast. Unless you make a living at it.

You end up juggling multiple accounts, post formats, and scheduling systems.

Buffer simplifies social media marketing by consolidating all your accounts into one place. You (or your team) can create posts for each social network.

You can even schedule posts for specific dates and times.

If you use social media for marketing, Buffer can save you a lot of time.

$15.00 per user, eight linked social accounts, and 100 scheduled posts.

MeetEdgar

MeetEdgar

Like Buffer, MeetEdgar allows you to create and schedule content for multiple social media accounts.

It can post on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.

But no Pinterest support Yet.

MeetEdgar’s Pro account is $49/month versus $65/month for Buffer.

But MeetEdgar only allows one user, whereas Buffer allows up to six users for a fee.

The monthly fee includes 3 linked social accounts, 10 automated posts, and unlimited manual posting.

SEO Tools

SEO Tools

SEO is the lifeblood of any affiliate program that relies on organic traffic for clicks and revenue.

It’s funny how SEO can be as complex or as simple as you want it to be.

Simple SEO tools like keyword and backlink research tools are all you need.

Rank Math

Rank Math

You can ensure that your website is search engine friendly with the Rank Math SEO plugin.

But these plugins’ popularity ebbs and flows.

So it’s hard to tell which one to use.

Rank Math is an SEO plugin I’ve heard great things about.

Simple features like automatically ‘Nofollow’ external links or opening external links in a new tab save time.

Rank Math includes 404 monitoring, redirection, and Schema markup tools, eliminating the need for additional plugins.

Oh, and it’s free.

Ahrefs

Ahrefs

An Ahrefs subscription is a sure bet if you want a lot of search engine traffic.

Affiliate marketers use Ahrefs for many reasons, but two stand out:

  • It has the most comprehensive backlink index (God knows I have).
  • Nothing else compares to their keyword research tool in terms of functionality.

In addition to the new ‘Content Explorer,’ the rank tracker allows you to monitor your position in the SERPs.

Ahrefs isn’t cheap at $99/month, but it’s a must for any serious affiliate marketer.

Another one of my top affiliate marketing tools.

Paid Traffic

Paid Traffic

Some big affiliates (like Charles Ngo) skip organic marketing and go straight to paid advertising.

Why?

I can send traffic to an offer at any time and from any place.

Unless you want to remortgage your home, you must meticulously track every aspect of your campaigns.

Here are a few tools I recommend.

WhatRunsWhere

WhatRunsWhere

Performance marketing is a challenging game to play without a tool like WhatRunsWhere.

Shooting hoops in the dark isn’t effective unless you know what your competitors are doing.

Hope is a weak business strategy.

Reverse engineering competitor campaigns are smart organic SEO.

Likewise for paid/performance advertising.

Its price plan distinguishes it from the rest of the affiliate marketing platforms. WhatRunsWhere costs $299 per month for PC only or $399 per month for PC + Mobile, making it ideal for marketers with a high five-figure monthly ad budget.

AdPlexity

AdPlexity

AdPlexity is a performance marketing spy tool.

So how does it compare to other tools like WhatRunsWhere?

AdPlexity is simply easier to use for a newbie.

It’s been designed by affiliates.

Its power comes from its ability to analyze any type of ad, from mobile to desktop to push.

Their “Push” tool costs $99 per month when purchased with another subscription.

AdPlexity is a powerful but costly tool!

Tracking & Analytics

Tracking And Analytics

Tracking the performance of your affiliate campaigns in terms of traffic, clicks, and user behavior is essential in affiliate marketing.

You can’t tell which channels are performing well without solid tracking.

The end result is always a money-losing campaign.

Tracking and analytics may seem “nerdy,” but ignoring them costs money.

Here are some tools to consider.

Hotjar

Hotjar

You can only learn so much about your visitors from analytics, traffic, and abandonment rates.

Then you’ll need a tool like Hotjar to really dig into user behavior.

Instead of guessing what visitors do when they arrive on your pages, you can use heatmaps to learn more about their habits.

Or simply record a user’s interaction with a page, including mouse movements and what they highlight or click.

Hotjar’s funnel analytics can also reveal where your funnel is losing traffic or sales.

Hotjar is free for 15 days.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics

All affiliate marketers use Google Analytics to better understand their web audience without spending money.

The simple fact is that no other basic analytics package comes close to what Google offers for free.

If you aren’t using it, you should.

Courses & Communities

Courses And Communities

Having the right tools is important, but becoming an affiliate marketing pro takes more than that.

In addition, you can learn an affiliate marketing strategy from people with a lot more at stake.

The Authority Site System

The Authority Site System

Despite my best efforts to be objective, this is a shameless plug for most of the course sites.

And I have a good reason—the course contains everything I know about affiliate marketing.

But many of the students value the Authority Site System community more.

They can get honest answers and insights from some of the biggest names in the affiliate marketing game.

STM Forum

STM Forum

The STM Forum isn’t like most other affiliate marketing forums, especially ones that rhyme with “harrier quorum.”

This premium forum for super affiliates has a $99 monthly fee.

Suppose you want to grow your affiliate marketing business. In that case, the monthly fee for STM is peanuts compared to the returns from one piece of advice.

 You’re All That’s Left.

This concludes this review on affiliate marketing tools.

You can do affiliate marketing for free, but it will take a lot more work.

Affiliate marketing will soon become more competitive.

Using professional affiliate marketing tools can significantly increase your success rate and scale.

Using the above tools can quickly take your affiliate marketing campaign from zero to 100.

What Is My #1 Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2022?

Digital Landlord Making Money Online

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing
  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve dropshipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: being a Digital Landlord

Whether you’re a complete newbie or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, using the Digital Rental Method is for you.

Why?

1)Time commitment: If you have an hour or two per day, you can do this. Even if you want to drop everything and commit fully, that works too.

You don’t have to be constantly working to make money. The income you generate is recurring.

Imagine taking off for a month to places like Hawaii, Paris, National Parks, & other spots people only dream about – all while collecting dozens of little $500-$2,000 checks. It’s like a dream come true.

But it’s only possible to do it when you’ve separated your income from your time.

2)You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With affiliate marketing, you don’t really own a single thing – not even the customers you worked so hard to “acquire.”

Don’t believe me? Read the terms of service for any major affiliate program – they can fire you or change your compensation at the drop of a dime.

With the Digital Rental Method, you own everything, so you have ultimate control.

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income as an affiliate, you would need to sell twice as much inventory, or double your profit margins. And I can guarantee you (from my days selling women’s health products as an affiliate), that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)Great Margins: Margins on affiliate products can be pretty low, unless you’re selling high-ticket products. When you sell high-ticket stuff, you typically have a lot of competition, so driving traffic is expensive.

using the Digital Rental Method, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best-case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.

5)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with affiliate marketing is that you’re selling products that will bring you the biggest commission, not the products that will help people the most.

It’s cool in the short term to make a quick buck, but in the long term, it eats away at your soul.

But With the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other affiliate programs like Affiliate Marketing Tools, which might make you money 12 months from now.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.

If this sounds like you, click here to see how it all works.
