Commission Machine Review (2023): Is Michael Cheney Legit?

Commission Machine is an affiliate marketing program that promises to make you up to $2,462.60 daily for as little as $47.

The question now is whether this is even doable if you want to build a successful online business. Or it could be simply another scam trying to trick you into joining their program.

And is it really the best affiliate marketing course out there?

In this Commission Machine review, I’m going to dive deep into the upsides and downsides of the program.

But before I can say Commission Machine is good, I have to ask a very important question: is affiliate marketing even worth it?

Like other affiliate programs, we get pitched an ultimate dream…

Run an amazingly profitable business where you don’t have to worry about anything – no products, no inventory, no shipping, no customer service.

The only thing you need to worry about is putting this product in front of someone that wants to buy it, and the rest is money in the bank.

The best part?

“You can do it from anywhere in the world!”

Sounds pretty great… but is it?

It is 100% possible to make money with affiliate marketing – the real question is: is Commission Machine the best affiliate marketing program out there?

Well, the most difficult (and therefore most valuable) skill in the internet business is driving traffic AKA getting people to visit a website.

Later on, I’ll talk about why it’s so difficult to drive quality traffic.

But for now, let’s just say it isn’t exactly an easy process (unless you have a proven traffic source for the exact product you’re trying to sell).

If you really break it down, is affiliate marketing much different than a 9-5 job? You work for someone else, sell their stuff, and they can fire you at any time.

You don’t really control anything, despite doing the most important part – driving traffic.

To be 100% clear, I’m not saying affiliate marketing won’t work. If you’ve followed my blog for long, you’ll know that I’ve made money myself as an affiliate marketer (selling women’s health products).

I have several friends who make over $20,000/mo as affiliate marketers.

What you don’t hear about is the $200,000 they had to invest UP-FRONT to start making that money.

But let’s suppose that you REALLY want to work that laptop-entrepreneur lifestyle.

The Commission Machine is a seven-module video training program that claims to teach you how to generate $2,642.60 each day using various strategies and techniques. Michael Cheney is the creator of this program.

Yup, that’s a massive $964,549 every year!

Michael believes that you may earn large amounts of money by implementing e-mail campaigns that sell affiliate marketing courses to those looking to make money online. This is similar to other training courses like Evergreen Wealth Formula and 1k A Day Fast Track.

Once your payment is processed, you will be notified that you will have access to a “copy and paste” strategy for making money via e-mail marketing by promoting affiliate products, even if you are a complete newbie.

They say you don’t need an email list or website to start making money.

If it all sounds too wonderful to be true, you’re probably right.

Michael Cheney shows you how to transfer $85,000 from his PayPal account to his bank account in real-time.

I’m not sure how much of this money came from his sales of The Commission Machine. Because it is a great marketing tactic, many online training courses in the make-money-online world pitch themselves as full “systems,” “formulas,” and, of course, “machines.”

It gives purchasers looking for a way out of the rat race the false hope that making money online is as simple as clicking a few buttons and watching your bank account grow instantly.

Who Is Michael Cheney?

Michael Cheney is an affiliate marketer and program creator based in the United Kingdom. He has created several courses throughout his career and is well-known for his email marketing strategies.

He began his internet marketing career in 2006 with a Google AdSense training course. His professional career got off to a shaky start, but this was the first time he made any money. He made a whopping $250,000 in just seven days.

Michael is inspired by Ben Settle, who shows you how to email every day and try to sell by telling stories. This program will teach you how to do it the right way.

Michael is known for his persuasive sales speeches, and his sales videos may be considered overly optimistic. But don’t be easily fooled by his charm. He has a lot of experience and can teach you a lot. He’s been in the internet business for a long time and knows a lot about it.

Many people, like myself, dislike these types of product pitch videos.

However, I believe these videos have been tried and are effective for him. Besides, what matters most is the final outcome.

What’s Included In The Commission Machine

The Commission Machine has eight modules, each with one video. In addition, most modules include a link to additional tools or software.

The following are the modules included in this program:

Module 1: Getting Started

A brief introduction to his program, including information on the benefits you’ll receive.

Module 2: Research

As Michael puts it, you’ll learn how to find “commission gold mines” the right way in this video. He suggests you search for products in the online money-making niche.

Module 3: Angle

You’ll discover how to find the angles that deliver results and encourage customers to buy through your affiliate link. To convince clients to buy, he uses four angles:

1. The Product Angle
2. The Personal Angle
3. The Attribute Angle
4. The Money Angle

He’ll read a few e-mails he’s written and explain how they were written and what they pertain to. You’ll also learn to find the proper training to get the outcomes you want. This module contains some helpful info, in my opinion.

Module 4: Providing Incentives

In this module, you’ll learn how to provide additional incentives to encourage people to buy through your affiliate marketing link, including what bonuses you can give them and how to set it up leveraging scarcity.

Michael will also show you how to use JVZoo to deliver bonuses instantly.

Note that you can only use this strategy if you’re selling a JVZoo product.

Module 5: Messages

It’s now time to draft your messages. Mr. Cheney provides lots of illustrations you can model for your commission machines.

This module has a lot of useful information about creating e-mail communications.

Writing stories is the main takeaway from this module. This is something Ben Settle and Russell Brunson are coaching; the techniques are the exact same.

Module 6: Deploy

This part will teach you how to set up your commission machine. This module focuses on how many times you want to email and how you want to email them. Michael walks you through an email campaign or commission machine he’s running so you can copy what he’s doing.

Module 7: The No List Method

Michael Cheney also proposes a no-list strategy. This part explains how to use Facebook for affiliate marketing. This is a method that takes time and effort to master.

He also talks about how to interact with Facebook groups, which is useful, but he goes overboard with the different options.

He also advises you to start a blog where you may do your storytelling. Looking at his examples, I think it will be hard to use SEO, but maybe Michael has tried this.

Unfortunately, this module isn’t that great, and my gut tells me he’s only done this to promote this program for those without a contact list. Those without a contact list will likely struggle with this information.

Module 8: Advanced Ninja Tactics

Michael Cheney shows you how to create bonus pages where you give out bonuses to people who buy through your website link. You give them the product sales page and inform them when they will receive the bonuses. He then explains how to add incentives and send follow-up emails.

This is a handy module if you know how to develop it.

How Does Commission Machine Work?

The Commission Machine is built on affiliate and e-mail marketing. Both methods are legit.

Michael explains how to find and research popular products, create marketing plans, and put them into action.

However, the training provided isn’t extensive enough to support the overhyped website.

Those claims should not be taken seriously.

I’ll explain why…

Michael shows how to conduct product research before launching a campaign.

That is important information, as most people do not do this correctly before entering businesses such as affiliate marketing or email marketing.

The training consists of the following eight lessons:

• Lesson 3 – Angle
• Lesson 4 – Providing Incentives
• Lesson 5 – Messages
• Lesson 6 – Deploy

Michael will show you how to deliver a powerful pitch.

To put it another way, he’s talking about something that every good marketer needs to know how to do.

That’s how you get your prospect’s attention.

The majority of the lessons in the Commission Machine cover how to offer bonuses to increase sales and how to earn affiliate commissions without having to build a list.

Later on, you can start a blog and get visitors or traffic from Facebook. That’s also a good way to get people to your blog.

However, the Commission Machine course falls short when it comes to attracting visitors. And I believe this is a major problem.

No company will accomplish the job no matter how good until you figure out how to attract thousands of hits on your offerings every day.

As a result, Michael has prepared several upsells to assist you with this… However, that isn’t the most effective technique for expanding your business.

This means you can get started for as little as $19, which is exactly how it should work.

Is Commission Machine Worth The Money?

His email marketing provides the most valuable information. You’ll learn how to identify affiliate offers and promote them in this part.

Let’s say you’re new to email marketing and advertising and wish to get started. It would be best if you only looked at how to get e-mail addresses, use an autoresponder, and get people to your landing page and sales funnel. This is the greatest concern because he could easily turn this into a full email marketing training course with just a little extra work instead of the no-list module.

No, I have no doubt that what he says is true, and his program will help you make money. However, you still need to work hard. If this were easy, then everyone would do it. This means you should take his advice with a grain of salt. You have to do the work to get the same results that he did.

He clearly has a lot of experience with e-mail marketing, and he proves it by simply illustrating how you can use his techniques. He uses PowerPoint presentations and “over-the-shoulder” instruction. The visual and audio quality are both amazing.

If you’re interested in purchasing The Commission Machine, it’s currently on sale for $19.95. Since the regular price is $47, this is basically a 60% savings.

What Are The Red Flags Of The Commission Machine?

The main concern with The Commission Machine is that they make the bold claim that you can make more than $2,500 per day using their platform. When this is combined with the fact that The Commission Machine is marketed as a beginner-friendly course, many people assume the course is a scam.

However, The Commission Machine isn’t a complete fraud. Instead, it is a training course for which you pay a one-time fee for lifetime access. Compared to a variety of other products with high monthly charges, The Commission Machine far outperforms them.

Nonetheless, they have an Earnings Disclaimer section on their website. This lengthy and difficult-to-find section of the site explicitly states that individuals cannot guarantee the earnings reported on their selling page.

The Commission Machine also offers a money-back guarantee of 30 days. If you don’t like the program or don’t achieve the results you expected from using their product, they will refund your money in full. It’s a great feature that will provide you with much peace of mind if you decide to use this system.

But, thanks to my exclusive access to JVZoo, I can tell you that Commission Machine has a whopping 13.72 percent refund rate (below 5% is good), which suggests that many consumers requested refunds within the first thirty days.

The Commission Machine Price

The Commission Machine’s pricing system has both good and bad aspects. You will only have to pay a one-time price to access the training videos. This is generally $47; however, you can often find discounted rates of around $19.95. Although it’s just the start, that is not a bad price for a seven-module e-mail marketing course.

As with other training programs, you may encounter pricey upsells. The Commissionology Upsell will set you back $27 each month. This upsell allows you to copy and paste the founder’s strategies and insert your affiliate links. However, you don’t have to buy it, and you probably shouldn’t either.

For $97, you can also have the Done For You service. Another program that will make it faster and easier to put into service is this one. The final upsell is a whopping $1,997. This will get you access to his seven-figure business.

The Commission Machine is unique because it does not require upsells to gain access to the training. The bad news is that if you buy them, your expenses will skyrocket.

Is Commission Machine Scam?

So, time for the $1,000,000 question – is Commission Machine a scam?

No, it’s not a “scam,” technically speaking. They aren’t going to collect your payment and then ride off into the sunset without delivering you a program.

You can make money with this program. My only gripe is that making money with affiliate marketing is NOT NEARLY as easy as Commission Machine wants you to think it is.

As I’ve said earlier, the most important part of doing affiliate marketing right is driving traffic. That means being good at:

• Writing ads that sell
• Running ads on Google
• Running ads on Facebook
• Writing website blogs
• Ranking websites
• Converting users that land on your site
• Email marketing

And a whole lot more.

If you’re going to spend time learning those skills, why not do it in a way that makes YOU all the money – instead of someone else?

There’s just a lot of work to be done here and no real guarantee of success (not to mention commissions can be small).

Don’t get me wrong – I’m ALL FOR doing the hard work now so that you can reap the benefits later.

But if you’re going to hit something super hard for 3-6 months, and your reward is barely enough money for a tank of gas… it’s just not worth it (in my opinion).

Again, I’m not saying it won’t work – I’ve personally made money with it, as have many of my friends.

I’m just saying it’s a situation where the stars need to align for you perfectly.

And you shouldn’t be in the business of leaving your fate up to the stars…

But what if instead of all that, you could work those same 3-6 months and generate a handful of checks that generated you $500-$2,000 EACH, every single month (almost on autopilot)?

And what if you learned it from someone who has already mastered the ability to drive traffic profitably?

Better yet, what if you could see your first payment in one week, not 3 months?

And what if you could double or triple that income within the next month or two?
