Dropshipping Titans Review (2024): Is Paul Lipsky’s Course Legit?

Another one of those earns money online schemes revolves around selling a saturated course that claims to make you money by selling Chinese knockoffs.

But, hey, if you’re willing to stake your life savings on a business model that Chinese wholesalers recently demolished…

Then don’t let us stop you from making yet another blunder that your parents will chastise you for.

It’s meant to show you how to become an eCom king of six figures…

However, it is actually out of reach for most individuals, including you, who are bound by budgets and student loans.

That’s the truth…chasing the next hot thing that only lasts three months won’t make you rich.

And, because I have to be honest for this review…

Dropshipping Titans is pretty much your standard dropshipping course.

If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know that I don’t like dropshipping as a business model for a few different reasons.

That being said, it IS possible to make money with it, so I want to give you an honest review of this particular program.

But first, let me clear the air on one important thing:

Dropshipping has never been – and will never be – a passive, recurring business. No matter what the guru might tell you, it requires constant work.

I’m telling you this from my own personal experience running several dropshipping stores on both Shopify AND Clickfunnels.

If you’re looking for a business that you’ll need to be super active in, dropshipping might be for you.

If you want to make money while you sleep and travel the world, dropshipping just isn’t it.

The main reason?

To have real success with dropshipping, you need a bulletproof system for finding the hottest new products before anyone else.

In the very best case scenario, you have a relationship with your supplier, where they give you a heads up on products that are about to pop. These relationships don’t typically come around until you’ve done 6-figures in business with the supplier.

In the worst case scenario, you’re testing a bunch of products with ads, losing money until you find that one winner.

I’m not saying dropshipping is a bad idea based on that alone… most businesses require you to lose money before you actually make money, so it’s somewhat normal.

But let’s assume you DO in fact have the next fidget-spinner craze product, months before anyone else knows about it…

That’s great! But now you’re gonna need to get people to buy it.

Translation?

• Tens of thousands of dollars in ads
• Tons of time spent split testing to find the best landing page variations, best product descriptions, best ad copy, best ad videos, etc.

Again, some people thrive on that and love it. So if you’re looking for that level of constant testing and gambling, it might be a good fit.

It’s also worth calling out that Facebook has a track record of banning you FOR LIFE from advertising on their platform for dropshipping.

Think about it: it ruins a user’s experience with Facebook when a product shows up 45 days after they’ve ordered it, and is nothing like the product they thought they were buying.

So Facebook would rather ban you from their platform than risk a bad user experience.

Suffice to say, it’s a lot of stress for not-alot of payback.

As someone that actually ran a dropshipping business, I can tell you from personal experience that your time can be better spent with other business models.

I’ve always used eBay, and I’ll admit that I’ve only ever used it to buy things. When Amazon came up, though, I avoided buying anything from eBay unless Amazon had it in stock. I purchased car parts on eBay since it was inexpensive.

I attempted selling a line of tracksuits on eBay back in the day, so I bought them from China, had them delivered, and then shipped the items.

I knew this wasn’t a dropshipping model, but I wanted to give it a shot. It worked.

I sold all but five tracksuits, and as the pattern began to fade, I had to cut the price to break even. That was the end of it.

Then there’s Paul Joseph Lipsky, who swears on his Dropshipping Titans course that you can earn money without Shopify or Amazon on this website.

What Is Dropshipping Titans?

Like other dropshipping courses, Paul Joseph shows you how to create a profitable dropshipping business from the ground up. Paul Joseph walks you through the entire process of creating a website, placing orders, and listing your products.

The only difference is that it’s done through eBay.

Paul J Lipsky shows how to catalog pre-existing brands, which sets Dropshipping Titans apart from most drop shipping companies. For example, his entire retail assortment is available on Amazon or Walmart.

He demonstrates how to make a small profit by having customers check out different websites.

Inside Dropshipping Titans By Paul Joseph

Dropshipping Titans is a Paul Joseph-created online course that teaches you dropship via eBay. Its main goal is to make modest profit margins by selling high volumes.

Let’s take a look at what you’ll get for your $300 investment.

The course Dropshipping Titans includes a large number of training videos.

The proprietor, Paul Joseph, will take you from complete beginner to having the skills necessary to earn $15,000 each month!

At least, that’s the plan…

Dropshipping on eBay isn’t as widespread as it once was, but we’ll look into it anyhow.

Again, if you’ve followed me for very long at all, you know I prefer Shopify if you’re going to run a dropshipping business. There are loads of built-in integrations, which means less time you have to spend… doing operational stuff.

There are ten modules in all in the course.

Module 1: Things Are About To Change In Your Life!

A couple of introductory videos are included. This isn’t even close to being a module.

Module 2: GET YOUR STORE UP AND RUNNING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

This module demonstrates how to create a PayPal account. He goes over a few other things, such as setting up an email account and an eBay store, but that’s it.

Joseph demonstrates how to create eBay listings in Dropshipping Titan.

These lessons have showy titles like “Setting Up Your eBay Store (The RIGHT Way),” They’re no different from any other YouTube tutorial.

He has a habit of exaggerating and over-explaining basic concepts, even to the point of devoting a whole session to your return address.

To be honest, the content of this module may be found for free elsewhere.

Module 3: Titans Product Research Formula

Product research is the focus of this module. You’ll want to pay close attention to this area because of the minimal profit margins you’ll be making. This means looking for things on the Home Depot or Walmart websites that might sell for a more excellent price.

I was losing interest in this section as I was reading it.

Who wants to deal with teeny-tiny profit margins where they have to nickel and dime everything?

We all prefer a business strategy that allows us to operate with profit margins that are huge!

Paul J Lipsky demonstrates how to conduct Amazon product research in Dropshipping Titan.

Much of this is gathering ideas and locating decent items to resell for a lower price than initially purchased.

This entire module contains no new information. Most of what you’ll learn here is the fundamentals of product research.

Module 4: Creating the Ideal eBay Listing

You’re going to be a little disappointed if you believe you’re going to perfect some insider listing strategy.

Paul Lipsky quickly demonstrates how to make a list of your belongings. It’s as simple as that.

He doesn’t get into advanced strategies or tricks; instead, he shows you how to build up your listing.

He also misses that new eBay dealers are limited to only ten products, even though his entire course emphasizes quantity above quality.

Module 5 – What You Should Know Before Adding More Items to Your Shopping Cart

Let me help you save some time.

Your eBay limit is set to ten items. You can raise the limit by doing the following:

• I’m asking them to raise the limit.
• Increased product sales.
• Getting rid of the ones that aren’t selling is a must.
• Getting good responses.
• Authenticating your payment.
• Selling from the United States.

Many of Joseph’s PowerPoint is incomprehensibly straightforward.

In just six bullet points, you may summarize the entire module.

Even the most straightforward principles are over-explained by Joseph. This entire module could have been taught in a single video, but Joseph decided to make it into a module.

I mean, this may all be useful for a newbie…

But, if you’re reading this, chances are you already have a rudimentary understanding of dropshipping.

In reality, you’re probably seeking intense, one-on-one mentoring to help you succeed.

Module 6 – Fulfilling Your Customers’ Orders Quickly

Like the preceding one, this module can be summed up in one sentence: buy it for them.

All you have to do now is take the money they sent you and order the items for them through the supplier’s website. That’s all there is to it.

This is the subject of nine separate videos by Joseph. A lot of it is just detailed instructions on checking out at Walmart. If you’ve ever ordered something online previously, you can skip this lesson.

Module 7 – Top Customer Service Hacks

The majority of this is general suggestions and pointers. They go over various issues, such as how to upload tracking numbers, answer questions, and avoid cancellations. This is relatively basic customer service; therefore, the module shouldn’t explain anything.

The module tells you to treat your clients nicely because their ratings determine your eBay account’s fate. That’s all there is to it — there’s nothing new here.

Module 8 –  How To Double Your Profit On Every Sale With Titan Hacks

This section explains ways to boost your profit margins. You’ll go from making a couple of cents on each transaction to making a couple more if you accomplish the following:

• Collect coupons and put them to good use.
• If you order everything at once, you’ll get free delivery.
• Obtain sales tax information.
• Purchase gift cards at a discount.

Paul Joseph explains how to receive free delivery on Home Depot items in Dropshipping Titan.

He’s showing you how to save pennies on every sale to increase your profit margin.

Module 9 – Keep Things Organized

This module demonstrates how to use QuickBooks and enter orders into a spreadsheet.

Module 10- Advanced Topics

This module is a little perplexing because the topics covered are not at all “advanced.”

He informs you that he is planning to open a second location. He goes over the fundamentals of creating many stores or forming an LLC, including using LegalZoom and improving sales if they are poor.

This lesson does not actually “teach” you how to start a second store; instead, it simply explores the idea of having several stores.

The content comes from his YouTube channel and is not advanced in any manner.

Who Is Paul Lipsky?

Paul Joseph Lipsky is a self-proclaimed internet guru who claims to have gained thousands of dollars on eBay by reselling items. He considers himself a business guru because of his YouTube channel, where he teaches dropshipping.

He has over 50,000 subscribers and uploads daily dropshipping videos. He’s also worked with a couple of other YouTubers who aren’t as well-known. He appears to have found a niche that he enjoys.

He claims to be able to earn $10,000 every month.

Why does this have a sketchy vibe about it?

Probably because that’s most likely the case. Simply following what he teaches in his course will not allow you to generate this much money in a single day.

This was also something I saw on the sales page.

On the website, he claims to make $15,000, yet in the sales videos, he claims to make $10,000.

So, I’ll leave it up to you to decide which of the two is lying (or if both are!)

Also, there isn’t a single mention of eBay on his sales website.

On his website, he even has multiple videos of success stories. We’re not sure whether or not they’re true. I don’t believe you could earn $15,000 per month alone by following the Dropshipping Titans course’s principles.

eBay Dropshipping Titans Cost

The course costs $297, but you can pay three $127 monthly installments. However, because there is a 22 percent interest rate, each installment will cost $381.

In our opinion, this is a bit pricey for what you get, but Paul Joseph claims that the sole reason he’s selling his course is that “there is so much money to be earned online that I believe we can all profit from it.”

You have to question the genuine motives of someone who charges you 22 percent interest…

The payment bundle costs an extra $84 at Dropshipping Titan.

A 30-day money-back guarantee is included with the course. You must contact Paul directly if you want a refund. He pledges to make the refund process as straightforward as possible.

Paul Joseph provides a rapid return service.

There are certain benefits to taking the course, such as:

• The mastermind group’s private Facebook page is accessible. This is a group where other students who have purchased the course can engage and ask Paul for help.
• Downloadable customer service scripts are available for free. These are the most popular responses to general questions. This might be valuable to a foreign person in business, but it’s entirely useless for the rest of us.

Paul Joseph’s Course Quality

I’ll admit it: Paul Lipsky’s dropshipping course made me wary about online courses in general. It followed the same approaches as most other courses, making me feel like they were attempting to sell me something rather than providing me with helpful information.

The course’s audio and video quality are excellent. It’s of similar quality to his YouTube page, which is rather good. All lectures are recorded, and Joseph speaks clearly as he guides you through various websites.

On the other side, his PowerPoint presentations are abysmal. Some of the text is repetitive and brief.

He frequently gives PowerPoint presentations with fewer than two bullet points on the board and three slides in total.

Does Dropshipping Titans Deliver?

Unfortunately, I don’t think so, at least not in my opinion.

Joseph offers to show you how to start a successful dropshipping business. “But I am promising that you can develop a profitable business that will continue to generate you money in the short and long term,” he claims on his website.

Remember that the income copy and figures he provides are mere “estimates” of what you might receive, which means they’re all made up.

If you only follow Joseph’s instructions in this video, you will not make any money. Joseph only teaches you how to start a business, not run a successful business.

This course is made up entirely of supervised walkthroughs of specific activities.

He purports to be your guide to “…become a successful eBay dropshipper,” but he’s just a tutorial on how to set up an email address and buy things from Walmart’s website.

And while dropshipping can undoubtedly make money, if you’re going to put in the time and effort to become a dropshipper (which isn’t simple), you might as well make some real money.

Is Dropshipping Titans Worth The Money?

In my perspective, not at all.

In no way would Joseph’s course prepare you for success. To begin with, it’s merely a series of self-explanatory walkthroughs.

His claims of success and flashing of other people’s “thousands of dollars” are simply deceptive.

Reselling items for pennies is a time-consuming procedure that, while it may have worked a decade ago, is now outdated and exhausting.

Using his strategies, you can deal with a challenging market with little more than your payment-verified eBay account.

Is Dropshipping Titans Legit? Is It A Scam?

So, time for the question you’ve been waiting for: is Dropshipping Titans a scam?

No, not technically speaking. They aren’t going to take your money and ride off into the sunset without delivering you access to their course.

It’s 100% possible to make money with this program, but it’s not nearly as simple as Paul J Lipsky wants you to think it is.

There is A LOT of upfront work to do, and no guarantee of success.

Don’t get me wrong – I’m all for doing hard work now so that I can collect checks in the future.

But if I’m going to spend 3 months of my life working super hard & spending thousands of dollars, just to break even… it’s just not worth it (in my opinion).

Think about it: what if you worked that same 3 months with just an hour or two per day, and in return you could collect a $500-$2,000 check that continues to come in every month?

Even better, what if you could actually get that first check in as little as a week?

And what if you could double or triple it over the next month or two?

That’s what you get when you use the Digital Rental Method.

All you really need is a laptop and some internet.

Surprisingly, overseas entrepreneurs respond favorably to this course.

In the comments section of his videos, I’ve discovered that most of his supporters speak in broken English. This course sells well because it is beneficial to foreigners.

Many of Joseph’s followers appear to be from outside the United States, implying that Dropshipping Titans’ target demographic is international.

The essential “hand-holding” is evident to most people, but this training is beneficial for inexperienced individuals with US conventions and language.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

• I’ve drop-shipped a toilet-bowl putting green on Shopify
• I’ve drop-shipped jade rollers via Clickfunnels
• I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
• I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: being a Digital Landlord.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, using the Digital Rental Method is for you.

Then the customer slaps you with a refund, and all of that time spent testing and spending money on ads was for nothing.

4) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you would need to sell twice as much inventory, or double your profit margins. And I can guarantee you (from my shopify dropshipping days), that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

5) Big Margins: With dropshipping, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money. This usually entails spending A LOT of money on ads and other methods for growing traffic to your product.
