Digital Storefronts Review 2022: Is Cory Long Legit?
Cory Long’s mission is to assist people to generate money online using the local lead generation model, and Digital Storefronts is one of many digital marketing online courses he teaches. He will show you how to rent digital storefronts to local businesses while earning thousands of dollars in passive revenue. This guy wants to help young entrepreneurs navigate the process of starting and running their online businesses.
You’ll undoubtedly see ads for his course on Facebook or YouTube, claiming that he and his pupils both earn well over six figures.
And, while this review must be truthful…
Digital Storefronts teaches you an online business model known as “lead generation”. In my personal opinion, this is probably the top business model out there.
While Digital Storefronts has its merits, it is NOT my top recommendation if you’re interested in Lead Generation.
Our top program in the lead generation category is going to be Josh Osborne & Sean Kochel’s Digital Landlords program.
The thing is: there’s a good way and a bad way to run a lead generation business.
The bad way is using outdated SEO tactics and sketchy “black-hat” Google My Business listings to send phone calls to local businesses.
This leaves you at the mercy of Google’s search algorithm updates, which has a history of ruining lead generation empires in a single day.
I have friends that have gone from $50K/mo in passive income down to nearly $0 because their listings got suspended (and they never got them back)!
Every guru out there has “their secret method” to “ensure” Google doesn’t slap you down with a huge penalty. Well, to that I say: good luck fighting a $200 billion per year tech giant.
The good way to do lead generation, is building assets that YOU own, while playing by the rules and giving companies like Google and Facebook what they desire most – relevancy.
In this model, you build high-converting digital assets (like a landing page), and push high-quality customers through them. You then flip these customers to a client that’s willing to take them, and charge a fee for making the connection.
You’re kind of like a… lead dealer.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I recommend this lead generation program, because it helps my boyfriend and I personally make over $20,000/mo on autopilot.
The cool part is that it shows you pretty much exactly what to do to create a recurring revenue stream, that can bring you in anywhere from a few thousand, to $10,000+ per month.
I really like how you can build it with only an hour or two each day, and you can grow it as big (or small) as you want to.
If that sounds interesting to you, check out the Digital Landlord program here
That being said, let’s continue on to the Digital Storefronts review.
Digital Storefronts Review
Digital advertising is a booming industry, and you can start a company and grow it to seven figures in just a few years.
However, if you’re looking for a way in, it might not be easy…
That is putting it mildly.
Before writing this evaluation, I spent several hours researching their customer complaints on numerous platforms such as the BBB, Google, YouTube, and Trustpilot.
I’ll give you a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to build a thriving digital advertising company and what you need to be TRULY successful in my Digital Storefronts review of Cory Long.
I’ll take a look at the Digital Storefronts modules to see if it’s the most outstanding online business course available.
What Is Digital Storefronts?
The purpose of Cory Long’s Digital Storefronts is to show you how to start an online business from scratch.
It mainly demonstrates how to establish an agency. You’ll be generating revenue through small, niche websites.
While the course covers a variety of niches, the primary objective of this course is how to build websites that generate leads for local business owners.
It’s a little like casting a wide net.
There are a few compelling reasons you should use the concepts and techniques discussed in this course in your own business.
In a moment, I’ll go through this in more detail.
This will most likely give you a better idea of what Digital Storefronts can do for you.
What Is The Cost Of The Digital Storefronts Course?
The cost of Digital Storefronts is not readily stated anywhere on the internet. However, knowing that this training is expensive and includes a private group and coaching available 24 hours a day, seven days a week…
It’s safe to estimate it’ll set you back more than a few thousand dollars, if not $5,000.
To be clear, I have no idea what the price is. However, in my opinion, as someone who has worked in the industry long enough to know, that’s a decent ballpark figure to assume.
I’m going to be completely honest with you straight away.
This will almost certainly not be a training course for everyone.
It could possibly set you back a couple grand.
This implies you’ll almost certainly have to pay a considerable sum of money for knowledge that you might be able to find elsewhere for free.
It’s important to note that this is only the “starting point.”
You’ll need additional funds to deal with paid advertising and any applications that you may need.
How You Can Purchase The Digital Storefronts Training Course?
The only option to purchase Digital Storefronts is scheduling a call and speaking with a sales representative.
They will attempt to pitch their items to you during this phone conversation.
However, even though the price is frequently the deciding factor…
Trust is critical. For instance, can this individual truly teach you how to replicate his financial success?
In a moment, I’ll discuss how trustworthy Cory truly is…
However, as I mentioned previously, this is only the “entrance price.” Chances are, you’ll incur additional costs to put the training to use.
That is not necessarily a cause to abstain from action. As an example, consider purchasing this course…
Because all company models, when implemented, will incur costs. You’ve probably heard the expression “the cost of doing business” before, correct?
Who Is The Creator Of The Digital Storefronts Course?
Cory Long is the man behind Digital Storefronts.
He’s virtually unknown in the world of internet coaching.
Well…
Some members of another well-known coaching organization are familiar with him…
And, from what I’ve heard, they’re not the biggest fans. I’ll leave it at that for the time being…
Cory Long has built multiple businesses from the ground up. He’s competent with Facebook and Google advertisements. He uses them to get rapid leads, but his primary concentration is on organic lead generation through SEO to rank small local websites.
After conducting a study, I’ve concluded that he’s not lying about the efficiency of the company model. However, I have my doubts regarding his ability to coach effectively…
Mainly because he was expelled from the mentorship group where he received training in this business strategy.
According to what I’ve gathered from my sources, Cory was a member of another well-known coaching organization.
That is not novel in the industry; indeed, numerous other gurus have done the same thing.
So what prompted his eviction?
This group has a solitary rule: “Do not offer your products or services to other members of this group.”
Isn’t that straightforward?
Whether it was an error in judgment or deliberate, Cory violated that guideline by attempting to sell his lead generation group (digital storefronts).
All of that is horrible enough, but in this day and age of the internet, you expect it to happen at some point. Nowadays, it appears as though people often end up biting the hand that feeds them.
However, what leaves a sour taste in my mouth is Cory Long’s apparent status as a clergyman and “God-fearing man.”
How could someone with such reverence for the Christian faith do such a terrible act?
What Is The Digital Storefront Business Model?
Their training is founded on a legitimate “digital storefront” business concept. Every company requires a healthy lead pipeline.
As a result, this training course is centered on organic lead generation for business owners.
The fundamental reason is that you can build out and rent long-term digital stores (as he prefers to refer to them).
The numerous other vital reasons are that many business owners do not have enough time to handle their own promotion and want the assistance of someone like you.
Thus, you’re merely promoting for them.
Does this business model work?
Abso-freakin’-lutely!
He goes into greater detail about this in his free training, which you may or may not have seen before reading this review.
With everything out of the way, let’s delve into what the Digital Storefront course includes…
Digital Storefronts Course Content
The course’s objective is to walk you through the entire process of generating local leads from start to finish.
After you’ve finished speaking with the salesman and presuming you’ve paid, you’ll be granted a login to his mentoring program.
You’ll be assigned seven distinct modules to complete, each of which contains multiple instructional videos, including his tenant attraction system.
The following is a quick overview of what you’ll receive module per module:
Introduction and Roadmap to Success
- Module 1 – Finding the Perfect Locations.
- Module 2 – Creating Digital Storefronts.
- Module 3 – Getting Ranked.
- Module 4 – Quick Lead Methods.
- Module 5 – Finding and Closing Deals.
- Module 6 – Tenant Attraction System.
- Module 7 – Bonus Module.
The curriculum, in my opinion, does an admirable job of covering the local lead generation approach. I believe it falls short in a few key ways.
For instance, I would have wanted to see additional content in the module on closing agreements.
However, nobody is perfect.
Sales, in my experience, is a skill that many people struggle with. I am included. Many of these local lead-generating programs brush over the sales side as if it does not exist.
I’m not claiming that sales abilities are necessary for success in this business; but they certainly help.
I’ve been in your position before, and I can tell you without a doubt that if I hadn’t been enrolled in a program like the one I am now, focusing on the sales process of a local lead generation. I probably would not be where I am now.
That’s just my two cents.
Pros Of Digital Storefronts
User Friendly Training Platform
I won’t lie to you, and I’ll give credit where credit is due. Cory Long has done an excellent job of making his Digital Storefronts training program user-friendly.
Some may think it seems a bit plain, but I couldn’t care less. After all, I’m hoping to receive advanced training. The most recent WordPress theme didn’t impress me.
You’ll see one video per page on each page of each module you complete. That is all there is to it. He keeps the page from becoming too cluttered, allowing you to concentrate on learning as much as possible.
Cory makes things simple to follow right away. If you need to go back to a previous topic, use the arrows to travel forward or backward.
Cory and his crew have also created a progress tracker. This will show you how far you’ve progressed through the course. It also provides you with a nice sense of accomplishment.
It is, nevertheless, practical. You might forget where you left off if you’re working late on this training since you spend most of your time at your 9-5. That’s where the progress bar comes in.
Cons Of Digital Storefronts
Limited Proof Of Earnings
It’s nice to have free training that covers the theory of the lead-generating model now and then. It’s one thing to start your own business and grow it to the point where you’re maybe qualified to mentor others; it’s another to establish your business to the point where you’re definitely qualified to mentor others.
I couldn’t seem to uncover any solid proof of Cory Long’s wages or performance while completing my study and believe me; I won’t get that time back, LOL.
If you’re able, please share your story and evidence in the comments section below!
The premise behind Cory’s Mentor program is to develop websites, rank them, and send the calls they produce to local business owner who will gladly pay you.
BUT!
It doesn’t provide much evidence that this was accomplished due to him and his approaches in particular.
Guys, I have to be honest about how I’m feeling…
When I see anything like this, I wonder if the course designer makes the majority of their money by practicing what they preach or just preaching (the irony).
You’ll see that there are only a few reviews on his sales page if you look at it. Three, to be precise…
I’m not sure how you feel, but three social proofs aren’t enough for me. Aren’t we all familiar with infomercials?
Those people may be paid actors for all we know, or at least that’s what comes to mind when I see minimal proof like this.
Particularly when the course has been running for almost a year.
Cory could be running the world’s most successful lead generation business for all we know. All I’m asking for is a bit more evidence.
That, I believe, would significantly enhance the value of his course and encourage more individuals to enroll.
Pricey “Done For You” Services
You may have read about Chance and Abdul in my Modern Millionaires article and heard about their done-for-you program.
These digital coaching packages are well-known for providing “done for you” services. Cory is no exception.
While everyone can see the value of having that kind of service available, it was hard to hear about the costs of such services.
$500 for a digital storefront isn’t cheap, in my opinion…
In reality, that is the average car payment in the United States.
I’ve developed hundreds of websites by hand over the last several years as I’ve grown my lead generation business to where it is now, and it’s not worth $500, in my opinion.
In my experience, websites like these take about 3 hours to create.
Unless you have a lot of money and don’t have the time to develop these sites yourself…
Before your money runs out, you’re not going to be able to set up too many websites.
It’s also worth noting that, yes, I no longer create my lead generation sites. I delegate the creation to my virtual assistants. And let me tell you, getting a whole website made didn’t cost me even close to $500.
To put it another way, you can bet Cory is taking home a significant chunk of that $500 profit…
Does Cory Long Offer A Private Facebook Group?
Yes, Cory has a private Facebook group where he hosts live streams and provides hands-on coaching.
I’d have been astonished if he hadn’t offered one. Having a private Facebook group has become popular in the online coaching sector.
However, if I had to guess, there isn’t much engagement based on the appearance. How am I able to make such an assumption? It’s just a numbers game for me.
His group has fewer than 500 members. A gathering of that size isn’t going to be very engaged, logically speaking.
I could be completely wrong, and each of those individuals could contact the group daily.
I’d love to be proven wrong, so please share it in the comments section below if you have proof that the group is incredibly active!
Does Digital Storefronts Offer A Refund Policy?
Yes, it appears that Digital Storefronts has a 90-day refund policy.
What Are People Saying About Digital Storefronts Online?
I researched online to see what people are saying about Digital Storefronts.
Digital Storefronts BBB Reviews
The BBB doesn’t list Digital Storefronts and therefore does not have a page for them. It’s a little strange. Most of these programs have something listed on the BBB, but his program is nowhere to be found.
However, I tried doing more investigation under his company, Yroc Consulting. There are still no results. Come on; it’s the year 2022… Cory, get yourself listed on the BBB right now!
Digital Storefronts TrustPilot Reviews
Digital Storefronts, like the BBB, aren’t listed on TrustPilot. Yroc Consulting isn’t either.
Digital Storefronts Facebook Reviews
On the Digital Storefronts Facebook page, there aren’t many legitimate reviews. It appears to be merely a sales funnel/hype machine of some sort.
Here’s what I discovered:
Nate Bunty: “Producing results for myself and my family, not a corporate structure”
Barbara Rae: “Finance free, stress free, struggle free”
Steve Campbell: “Success is being totally happy & content with where you are in your life. And that could be different for each person. Digital Storefronts can be the tool to get you there!”
Josh Smith: “Success is being debt free while building a life around spending time with my family without the burden of having to go to work.”
Tony Lewis: “Freedom”
It appears to be a lot of hype to get people into an emotional frame of mind about WHY they want to be financially independent. Nonetheless, these are all valid reasons for pursuing financial independence.
Digital Storefronts YouTube Reviews
His YouTube channel has barely any comments.
I see the same pattern as with Chance and Abdul’s channel. There are few to no comments on videos with hundreds, if not thousands, of reviews!
I’m not sure how there haven’t been at least SOME comments.
I did discover this video after a LOT of digging.
The back-and-forth in the comments was rather amusing:
Gavin Bitz: “How do I get going on this?”
Todd Johnston: “You give them thousands of dollars”
If that wasn’t funny enough, consider that these are the only two comments on the video… and it’s been viewed over 4,000 times…
In my opinion, they may be deleting comments that aren’t overly complimentary on purpose. That’s nothing new; you want to preserve your internet reputation.
Is Digital Storefronts A Scam?
Alright, time for the $1,000,000 question: is Digital Storefronts actually a scam?
No, it’s not a scam, technically speaking. They aren’t going to take your money and run off, leaving you empty handed. It’s actually a halfway decent lead generation course.
It’s just not my top choice.
The Digital Landlords program is unique. They give you over 30 proven templates (ad copy, targeting, keywords, exact landing pages, etc) so that you can hit the ground running.
The people that run the program actually have an agency that does 7-figures per year, which is a major advantage over most other lead generation courses.
Think about it: what if you could put in a few hours of work each day (whenever you feel like it), and you were rewarded with a recurring $500-$2,000 payment for each site you put up?
And what if it only took you a week or two to get that first payment?
And what if you could double or triple that payment over the following month or two?
That’s what you get when you’re a Digital Landlord.
All you really need is a laptop and some internet.
Some of my friends are Digital Landlords that run their 6-figure businesses from:
- Camping trips at national parks
- Beachfront in Hawaii
- On the road in a camper-van (with a pet pig!)
They focus on living an enjoyable life first, and focus on income second. All thanks to this program.
They can take weeks or months off, and money keeps rolling in.
Living happily is the top priority.
If the thought of living perpetually at your dream vacation spot interests you, being a Digital Landlord might be for you!
The Business Model Works: Local Lead Generation For The Win!
The best part about Digital Storefronts, in my opinion, is that local companies desperately need leads, and the business model given is realistic and long-term. Given how many online businesses are fads, it’s encouraging to see a long-term strategy being taught.
I’ve been in the online business world for quite some time. I’ve tried Amazon FBA, Affiliate Marketing, MLM, and everything in between…
The local lead generation strategy was the only company model that was simple to start and only cost a little money to run. It also didn’t take nearly as long as the other models.
This business concept not only allowed me to make a TON of money ($50K per month), but it also allowed me to help others.
It provided me the freedom to live my life my way. I could clock in and leave anytime I wanted. And, to be honest, these sites have allowed me to coast financially to the point where I now work a total of fewer than 40 hours each week!
So, what distinguishes lead generation as the best business model?
The amount of value you can deliver to your customer is the key to success in any form of internet business.
With local lead generation, you’re assisting small businesses by providing them with the opportunity to hire more people. And, depending on the gig, it could cost them upwards of $10,000!
Hopefully, you can understand how that differs from linking someone to a fidget spinner in terms of value…
As a result of all of this, a small business owner is pleased to keep paying you month after month because you’re the one that delivers all of their other clients and then some!
So, in terms of the future, I believe local lead generation business is one of the best industries. It’ll be around for a very, very long time!
What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2022?
I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:
- I have an actual lead generation business
- I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
- I’ve drop-shipped a toilet-bowl putting green on Shopify
- I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing
And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.
That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: being a Digital Landlord.
Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, becoming a Digital Landlord is for you.
Why?
1)Time commitment: If you have an hour or two per day, you can do this. Even if you want to drop everything and commit fully, that works too.
You don’t have to be constantly working to make money. The income you generate is recurring.
Imagine taking off for a month to places like Hawaii, Paris, National Parks, & other spots people only dream about – all while collecting dozens of little $500-$2,000 checks. It’s like a dream come true.
But it’s only possible to do it when you’ve separated your income from your time.
2) Complete control: You completely control everything, which means no one can take your business away from you. This is a huge difference from other lead generation models, where Google can end you at the snap of a finger.
3) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…
4) Great Margins:
Being a Digital Landlord, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.
Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.
Best case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.
5) You’re Helping REAL People: When you’re a Digital Landlord, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:
Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.
You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.
Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.
So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other lead generation programs like Digital Storefronts, which might work out.
You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.
OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.
