You’re probably here because you’ve seen this dude all over your YouTube ads.
In fact, you might have found it a little annoying and decided to finally look this character up…
That’s where I come in because I’ve done ALL the research on the things YOU want to know about him.
Now, I do want to be totally honest here, so…
Growth Cave teaches you an online business model known as “lead generation.” In my personal opinion, this is probably the top business model out there.
While Growth Cave has its merits, it’s NOT my top recommendation if you’re interested in Lead Generation.
My top program in the lead generation category is going to be Josh Osborne & Sean Kochel’s Digital Landlords program.
There’s a good way and a bad way to run a lead generation business.
The bad way is using outdated SEO tactics and sketchy “black-hat” Google My Business listings to send phone calls to local businesses.
This leaves you at the mercy of Google’s search algorithm updates, which has a history of ruining lead generation empires in a single day.
I have friends who have gone from $50K/mo in passive income to nearly $0 because their listings got suspended (and they never got them back!)
Every guru has “their secret method” to “ensure” Google doesn’t slap you down with a huge penalty. Well, I say good luck fighting a $200 billion per year tech giant.
The good way to do lead generation is building assets that YOU own while playing by the rules and giving companies like Google and Facebook what they desire most – relevancy.
In this model, you build high-converting digital assets (like a landing page) and push high-quality customers through them. You then flip these customers to a client willing to take them and charge a fee for making the connection.
You’re kind of like a… lead dealer.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I recommend this lead generation program because it helps my boyfriend and I personally make over $20,000/mo on autopilot.
The cool part is that it shows you pretty much exactly what to do to create a recurring revenue stream that can bring you in anywhere from a few thousand to $10,000+ per month.
I really like how you can build it with only an hour or two each day, and you can grow it as big (or small) as you want to.
If that sounds interesting to you, check out the Digital Landlord program here
That being said, let’s continue to the Growth Cave review.
What Is The Growth Cave?
Growth Cave assists organizations in growing online with one-on-one advice and thorough online training concentrating on paid advertising.
As most internet businesses do, I like that you can’t join up via a membership form.
You must make contact by email or phone first.
This is admirable, and it helps to identify those who aren’t 100% serious.
Produced Benefits the Growth Cave course is divided into six modules. These modules cover the basics and then guide students to get clients.
Templates, landing pages, and funnels are available, as well as photos and copies.
You won’t feel overwhelmed if you are just getting started or familiar with the entire experience.
Productized Profits, according to Lucas, “is a proven and tested 6-week implementation course that teaches how to start a highly profitable 6-figure products business and land your first client in 30 days.”
The first thing you need to know about the course is that, according to Lucas, they have students from “dozens of different industries and niches.”
They have experts in all business areas, including landscaping, gyms, real estate, and equine dentistry.
You can use this program in any niche or industry.
Who Is Lucas Lee-Tyson?
Many people who have 9 to 5 jobs fantasize about being free and establishing something that would enable them to be financially independent.
Lucas Lee Tyson, the CEO of Growth Cave, is no stranger to this reality.
Growth Cave was launched in June 2018 to help businesses grow online through individual consultations and an extensive online learning center that educates entrepreneurs about managing and creating compelling Facebook ad campaigns.
Lucas was stuck in the 9 to 5-day cyclical position as a marketing intern like most people.
He learned from his company that they were being paid $20,000 per month to run an advertisement campaign and $240,000 per year to manage various social media platforms and ad campaigns.
These simple tasks that are inherently easy to do by a dozen people could be accomplished at a lower cost if Lucas did it all by himself.
He eventually left the company to pursue his dream. He had $10 at the time, a substantial amount of credit card debt, and college loans.
His debt and tax liabilities were a significant drain on his mental health, so he had to make his plan work.
Lucas studied Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship at Bobson College, Boston, and wanted to start a new business model to get out of his job.
He tried everything, but nothing worked.
He has developed many online side projects, including an affiliate blog that generated more than $85,000 in Amazon affiliate program revenue, tried to rank YouTube videos, and ventured into lead generation. He closed after two months because he failed to close a sale.
Lucas has also collaborated and discussed with many multi-million-dollar companies, mainly in the technology and eCommerce sectors.
Lucas pursued his plan and started promoting himself on Upwork as a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) specialist.
Six weeks after securing client after client, Lucas Lee Tyson decided to quit his internship and dedicate himself entirely to his digital marketing business.
Lucas learned the right skills, applied them to his newly discovered “Agency” business model, grew his business, and hired new staff members.
His staff was navigating the development and expansion of his company. He coached, instructed, and taught other businesses about digital advertising tactics and structures. With over $7.6 million in advertising spent with his clientele, he disclosed what he had learned.
Growth Cave specializes in assisting others in establishing a profitable digital marketing agency. It’s currently concentrating its efforts on assisting other businesses in reaching the $1 million sales mark by the end of 2022. You may accomplish this by giving them realistic and attainable frameworks that will enable them to achieve incredible heights.
Lucas’ strengths include growth marketing and paid advertising.
Who Is Growth Cave For?
Lucas recognized that anybody could follow his route to financial freedom in a similar circumstance.
To further his vision, he created the Master Course Productized Profits.
His target audience, or “average person,” has been broken down into four types:
- “Trapped employees:” 9-5 people tired from their monotonous jobs.
- “Kindaprenuer:” Individuals who enjoy the idea of self-employment and entrepreneurship but are unable to find a way to do so.
- “Troubled agency owner:” People running their own social media marketing agency (SMMA) but aren’t getting the results they want.
- “Conscious Students:” Individuals who don’t believe traditional college education is right or can’t afford it.
Growth Cave Training Course & Pricing
Price: $1,497
There are three payment options available, each costing $600.
For starters:
- You’ll be given the ClientBolt software tool to help you locate prospective customers in your field.
- Learn how to find leads manually using cold emails, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Ads.

- Lucas provides one-on-one tutoring via Facebook and biweekly Q&A calls. This will help you throughout your stay.
Module 1: Foundations
In the first lesson, Lucas covers the mental component of business, as he does in prior courses.
Lucas teaches a class called “Uniform of Failure,” where he analyzes why his students fail. He gives recommendations that apply to all of the courses he assesses.
- His students don’t join the Facebook group to receive live information and Q&A.
- You don’t have to make a half-hearted attempt! Sign up now for the course.
- You must follow the steps without skipping any lesson.
- Be proud of what you do.
- The course is not meant to be a “get rich quick” scheme.
- Do not fall for the “shiny object syndrome.”
- Discuss the matter with Lucas and other members of the course.
- Be humble, let go of your ego and be open to learning.
This is a solid thought.
Module 2: Creating Your Own Niche
This module is my favorite because it tackles a common problem in marketing in an exciting way.
Lucas‘s main point is that a high-priced offering is not good.
Lucas identifies the fears that audience members have about online marketing.
He reviews people’s preconceptions about digital marketing, lead generation, and online ads. Most of these services end up in people’s spam folders.
Lucas Lee Tyson instead discovered that he needed to consider his services as a large commercial marketing agency when constructing his business.
Instead of selling a service to customers, he sells a product to those in a particular niche.
People want a proven system that produces specific results. Lucas discusses the 1-1-1 Principle to prove this point, which describes how you can effectively talk with clients to get results.
This Principle teaches the student and emphasizes choosing a profitable niche.
It examines the key characteristics of a strong niche and how important it is to build a solid foundation for your success.
Module 3: Automated Client Attraction Machine
Module 3 will teach you how to build up automated processes to collect customer contact information.
This area has a unique function because it removes the Clickfunnels landing page, frequently used to lead users to input their information; it’s more straightforward.
These are the methods Lucas uses to reach the strategy call with clients:
- Cold email
- Contacting through a LinkedIn message
- Contacting through organic Facebook
You then use Lucas’ templates and play a numbers game by sending hundreds of emails, Facebook messages, and LinkedIn connections to have enough potential clients to get a new client every week.
Working 30 minutes per day and working on your three email inboxes should allow you to reduce customers. You can do 6/9 meetings per week, reduce the most qualified leads, and finally find your one customer within a week.
You only need a calendar to schedule calls. This will take you to an app where prospects can answer a few questions to start the call without much knowledge about your business.
It seems to work well for many of Lucas’s students. The fact that the system has just started means that he can keep track of each student and suggest how to answer questions or what type of ads to use.
Module 4: Sales Science And Customer Conversion
This is the most detested aspect of the course.
They are frightened that sales will begin, particularly for individuals who have never sold before.
Lucas does a great job at addressing this mindset.
He called it 2 Closure. He found that people love taking time to reflect and think about investment. Two calls with clients create a stronger working relationship.
He also locks potential customers into a timeframe to think about the deal. This dramatically increases call effectiveness.
This strategy’s effectiveness is enhanced by including sample calls with models for review and learning.
Lucas shared models and samples that he personally used to build his successful online business.
He gives you the strategies and techniques to give you the best chance of success.
This module will teach you one of the most important lessons: “The customer actually needs you more than you need them.”
You can also regularly practice improving your speech and script with your group.
This module is the most complete and informative. And if you take the time to review it and make notes, you will move toward the entrepreneurial mindset and career Lucas Lee Tyson frequently talks about.
Module 5: Delivering The Autopilot Service
This subject is simple to understand for anybody with basic marketing knowledge.
On the other hand, this module was not something I anticipated discovering in the course.
Looking back, however, I am thrilled I did.
Look at the software and tools you use to retain, manage, and expand customers.
He also helped clients through onboarding after the sale.
It emphasizes the importance of building a relationship with clients and keeping it up to date to maintain a positive relationship.
The remainder of the module is more practical and shows how to use Zapier and Loom to automate some of these tasks.
It examines how to handle lead forms using Google Sheets SMS and manage your business manager.
Module 6: Systems And Scalability
Your marketing business should now be worth more than $10,000 per month, but you may feel tempted to grow your business to six figures.
Here’s where Lucas’s lesson about the fundamentals and scaling comes in, thankfully!
Lucas believes it’s good to delegate certain parts of his business and cut down on costs once he realizes profits are not his primary concern – but time.
To increase your growth, you should make more time.
Lucas asks you to identify the keys of the automation so that you can use them to your advantage.
- Hire someone to help you determine what the sales and advertising processes consume 80% of the time.
- Process and Zapier. Once you have started hiring, this is the key to automating and saving time.
- Mindset is key to remembering what you need to do and what software and employees can do for your business.
- Lucas then talks about the importance and value of having a team.
- This is the best way to downsize a company, but it can also be challenging.
- A team can automate many processes and help save time.
- Lucas has a list of contractors who have worked for him before and would be willing to work for him again, including all technical knowledge.
- It’s okay to hire someone to do the most difficult tasks.
- Your business will remain stagnant if you spend too much time focusing on the details.
With Lucas’s system, mindset is crucial. A growth mindset is essential for the first few sales and growing your business to seven figures.
If you feel that you are working too much and not making enough money, the first step is to raise your standards.
More Pros And Cons:
Pros
- Lucas has always been transparent about Growth Cave.
- This course is foolproof. Even if you’ve never done digital marketing before, role models will guide you through each stage.
- Although the Facebook group is small, it has a real family feel where everyone cheers on each other, and Lucas plays a big part.
- Through the forms and the biweekly Q&A, and the email query service, you feel like your problems are important and part of something greater than just a marketing group.
Cons
- It’s costly.
- Cold emails and LinkedIn messages in 2020 seem outdated. More effective methods are needed.
- It doesn’t matter how much you want it. You will have to pick up the phone and close the deal. Not everyone is up for this.
- Facebook ads and their unpredictable nature are well-known. It’s risky to put all of your eggs into one basket.
Final Word
This course is extremely practical and is laid out in an easy-to-understand format.
Templates, scripts, and other tools can be very useful in setting up the framework for your new business. As such, it’s neither a waste nor a scam. You will also find a lot of success stories online.
However, this is probably one of the most challenging online business models to succeed with. It requires a lot of effort and needs a large budget.
Are There Alternatives To Growth Cave?
Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:
Is Growth Cave A Scam?
Alright, time for the $1,000,000 question: is Growth Cave actually a scam?
No, it’s not a scam, technically speaking. They aren’t going to take your money and leave you empty-handed. It’s actually a halfway decent lead generation course.
It’s just not my top choice.
The Digital Landlords program is unique. They give you over 30 proven templates (ad copy, targeting, keywords, exact landing pages, etc.) so that you can hit the ground running.
The people that run the program actually have an agency that does 7-figures per year, which is a major advantage over most other lead generation courses.
Think about it: what if you could put in a few hours of work each day (whenever you feel like it), and you were rewarded with a recurring $500-$2,000 payment for each site you put up?
And what if it only took you a week or two to get that first payment?
And what if you could double or triple that payment over the following month or two?
That’s what you get when you’re a Digital Landlord.
All you really need is a laptop and some internet.
Some of my friends are Digital Landlords that run their 6-figure businesses from:
- Camping trips at national parks
- Beachfront in Hawaii
- On the road in a camper van (with a pet pig!)
They focus on living an enjoyable life first, and focus on income second. All thanks to this program.
They can take weeks or months off, and money keeps rolling in.
Living happily is the top priority.
If the thought of living perpetually at your dream vacation spot interests you, being a Digital Landlord might be for you!
What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money In 2023?
I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:
- I have an actual lead generation business
- I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
- I’ve drop-shipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify (pic below)
- I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing
And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.
That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: being a Digital Landlord
Whether you’re a complete newbie or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, becoming a Digital Landlord is for you.
Why?
1)Time commitment: You can do this if you have an hour or two per day. Even if you want to drop everything and commit fully, that works too.
You don’t have to be constantly working to make money. The income you generate is recurring.
Imagine taking off for a month to places like Hawaii, Paris, National Parks, & other spots people only dream about – all while collecting dozens of little $500-$2,000 checks. It’s like a dream come true.
But it’s only possible to do it when you’ve separated your income from your time.
2) Complete control: You completely control everything, which means no one can take your business away from you. This is a huge difference from other lead generation models, where Google can end you at the snap of a finger.
3) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…
4) Great Margins:
Being a Digital Landlord, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.
Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.
Best-case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.
5) You’re Helping REAL People: When you’re a Digital Landlord, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:
Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.
You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.
Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.
So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other lead generation programs like Growth Cave, which might work out.
You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.
OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.
