What I Didn’t Like
An increasing number of competing ads is diluting receivers' attention.
Digital marketers struggle to analyze massive amounts of data they collect and use it to create new marketing campaigns.
The difficulty of capturing and using data effectively highlights the need for a consumer-centered approach to online marketing.

To learn from the lessons of 2021, we must immediately transition to digital methods.

While many offline channels for advertising have been shut down or severely limited, the internet sphere is more successful than ever. If you want your firm to recover and expand, 2022 is the year to do it.

This review will discuss digital marketing, why it’s important, whether it works for all businesses, and what type of digital content you should create to help you crush your marketing goals.

So, what are you holding out for? Let’s get this review started!

Online Marketing teaches you an online business model known as “lead generation.” In my personal opinion, this is probably the top business model out there.

While Online Marketing has its merits, it’s NOT my top recommendation if you’re interested in Lead Generation.

My top program in the lead generation category is going to be Josh Osborne & Sean Kochel’s Digital Rental Method program.

The thing is: there’s a good way and a bad way to run a lead generation business.

The bad way is using outdated SEO tactics and sketchy “black-hat” Google My Business listings to send phone calls to local businesses.

This leaves you at the mercy of Google’s search algorithm updates, which has a history of ruining lead generation empires in a single day.

I have friends that have gone from $50K/mo in passive income down to nearly $0 because their listings got suspended (and they never got them back!)

Every guru out there has “their secret method” to “ensure” Google doesn’t slap you down with a huge penalty. Well, to that, I say good luck fighting a $200 billion per year tech giant.

The good way to do lead generation, is building assets that YOU own, while playing by the rules and giving companies like Google and Facebook what they desire most – relevancy.

In this model, you build high-converting digital assets (like a landing page) and push high-quality customers through them. You then flip these customers to a client willing to take them and charge a fee for making the connection.

You’re kind of like a… lead dealer.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I recommend this lead generation program because it helps my boyfriend and I personally make over $20,000/mo on autopilot.

The cool part is that it shows you pretty much exactly what to do to create a recurring revenue stream that can bring you anywhere from a few thousand, to $10,000+ per month.

I really like how you can build it in only an hour or two each day, and you can grow it as big (or small) as you want to.

That being said, let’s continue on to the Online Marketing review.

What Is Digital Marketing?

What Is Digital Marketing

It’s safe to say that digital marketing strategies are now just as vital as more conventional forms of promotion.

The purpose of digital marketing is to increase brand awareness and, ultimately, sales via the strategic use of digital mediums. This includes sending emails with text, audio, video, and images, using social networking sites, and promoting products online.

Mobile marketing is an essential part of digital marketing. Compared to other countries, smartphone usage accounts for 69% of time spent consuming digital media in the US, while desktop usage accounts for less than half.

Digital marketing, in practice, refers to marketing campaigns that appear on a computer, phone, tablet, or another device.

It can take on different forms, such as online video, display ads, search engine marketing, paid social ads, and social media posts.

Digital marketing is frequently contrasted with “traditional marketing” methods such as magazine advertisements, billboards, and direct mail. Surprisingly, television is commonly lumped in with traditional marketing.

Internet marketing is not the same as digital marketing. Internet marketing refers to advertising solely on the internet, whereas digital marketing can occur via mobile devices, a subway platform, a video game, or a smartphone app.

Why Is Digital Marketing Important?

Why Is Digital Marketing Important

With digital marketing, you may narrow your ideal clientele without wasting time or money. Advertising online may be more cost-effective than conventional methods, allowing you to monitor your campaign’s performance regularly. A company is free to utilize a single platform or several to promote its brand online.

Traditionally, corporations used print, television, and radio to market. While these options still exist today, the internet has changed how businesses reach consumers. Digital marketing came into play here.

Websites, social media, search engines, and apps are examples of two-way marketing. Newer technology and trends forced businesses to change their marketing strategies. An email was a popular early digital marketing tool.

Search engines like Netscape allowed businesses to tag and keyword stuff to get noticed. Companies can now track data to cater to consumer trends thanks to social media channels like Facebook.

Smartphones and other digital devices now make it easier for businesses to market themselves to consumers. People would prefer to use their phones to access the internet. So it’s no surprise that 70% of people make purchasing decisions (usually on their phones).

Does Digital Marketing Work For All Businesses?

Does Digital Marketing Work For All Businesses

Marketing through digital channels is effective across all sectors. No of the products or services you provide, success in digital marketing demands developing customer personas and producing high-quality content for distribution online. Not every company needs the same digital marketing strategy.

B2B Digital Marketing

B2B Digital Marketing

Online lead generation and interacting with a salesperson will most likely be at the heart of your B2B digital marketing efforts. Therefore, you must ensure that your website and other online channels attract and convert high-quality leads for your sales staff. You can also reach out to your target audience through business-focused platforms like LinkedIn and your website.

B2C Digital Marketing

b2c digital marketing

In this context, digital marketing should focus on attracting new clients to your website without the involvement of a salesperson.

From the time a potential customer clicks on your ad until they complete a purchase, the whole process should be optimized to move as quickly as possible.

You’ll need to position your product higher in the marketing funnel than a B2-B company and use stronger calls-to-action (CTAs). Instagram and Pinterest are often more valuable for B2C companies than business-focused platforms like LinkedIn.

What Type Of Digital Marketing Should I Create?

What Type Of Digital Marketing Should I Create

There are as many sub-fields within digital marketing as there are methods to engage with digital media. Some real-world examples follow.

Social Media Marketing

Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing boosts online conversation and, in turn, website visitors and product recognition. Regarding marketing on social media, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram are at the top of the list, with LinkedIn and YouTube close behind.

Numerous marketers will use these social media platforms to launch a viral marketing campaign. A digital viral strategy involves collaborating with a popular content creator or participating in a trend that resonates with a large audience.

The goal is to create something shareable in the hopes that it will spread organically across a social media channel.

Built-in engagement metrics in social media marketing help you measure your audience’s engagement. Shares, comments, and total website clicks are all options you can choose to prioritize. Your social media marketing strategy may not target direct purchases.

Many brands use social media marketing to engage with potential customers rather than immediately soliciting money. This is common among brands that target older audiences or sell products and services unsuitable for impulse purchases. It depends on your company’s goals.

Website Promotion

All digital marketing activities revolve around a website. It’s a very powerful channel in and of itself, but it’s also the medium required to carry out a variety of online marketing campaigns.

A website should clearly, and memorably represent a brand, product, or service that must be quick, mobile-friendly, and simple to use.

Content Marketing

Content Marketing

Content marketing aims to reach out to the target audience by using content. Typically, content is published on a website and promoted via social media, email marketing, search engine optimization, or even PPC campaigns.

Blogs, digital books, online courses, infographics, podcasts, and webinars are examples of content marketing tools.

Email Marketing

Email Marketing

It’s based on sending a promotional message and hoping your prospect clicks it, but the execution is more difficult. First, make sure your emails are wanted. An opt-in list should do the following:

  • Customizes the body and subject line content
  • The type of emails the subscriber will receive
  • The unsubscribe option is clear
  • Syncs transactional and promotional emails

You want your campaign to be seen as a service, not just a marketing tool. Email marketing is a proven technique: 89% of professionals surveyed said it was their best lead generator.

It’s even better if you use marketing automation to segment and schedule your emails to meet your customers’ needs better.

Many digital marketers use other internet marketing channels to generate leads for their email lists, then use email campaigns to convert those leads into customers.

SEM (Search Engine Marketing)

SEM

When a potential lead searches for a similar product or service, it’s a great time to promote. Paid advertising and SEO are great ways to promote your business and gain future leads. Paid ads on search engines are another way to increase website traffic.

One of the most popular SEM services is Bing Ads. These paid ads appear naturally at the top of search engine results pages. This is also good native advertising.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

SEO

SEO (search engine optimization) is a tool, not a type of marketing. The Balance defines it as “the art and science of making web pages search engine friendly.”

In SEO, it’s all about the “art and science.” SEO is a science that requires research and weighing of various factors to achieve the highest ranking. Optimizing a web page today includes:

  • Content adequacy
  • Engagement of the user
  • Mobile-friendliness
  • Inbound links’ quantity and quality

SEO is both an art and a science, depending on how these factors are used strategically.

Achieving high rankings in SEO is not quantified. Google’s algorithm frequently changes, making exact predictions impossible. You can tweak your page’s performance by closely monitoring its progress.

When businesses successfully implement SEO in their digital marketing strategies, their names and websites become more visible to more consumers.

Are There Alternatives To Online Marketing?

Other Business Models To Choose From

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:

Is Online Marketing A Scam?

Is It A Scam

Alright, time for the $1,000,000 question: is Online Marketing actually a scam?

No, it’s not a scam, technically speaking. They aren’t going to take your money and run off, leaving you empty-handed. It’s actually a halfway decent lead generation course.

It’s just not my top choice.

The Digital Rental Method program is unique. They give you over 30 proven templates (ad copy, targeting, keywords, exact landing pages, etc.) so that you can hit the ground running.

The people that run the program actually have an agency that does 7-figures per year, which is a major advantage over most other lead generation courses.

Think about it: what if you could put in a few hours of work each day (whenever you feel like it), and you were rewarded with a recurring $500-$2,000 payment for each site you put up?

And what if it only took you a week or two to get that first payment?

And what if you could double or triple that payment over the following month or two?

That’s what you get when you’re a Digital Landlord.

All you really need is a laptop and some internet.

Some of my friends are Digital Rental Method that run their 6-figure businesses from:

  • Camping trips at national parks
  • Beachfront in Hawaii
  • On the road in a camper van (with a pet pig!)

They focus on living an enjoyable life first, and focus on income second. All thanks to this program

They can take weeks or months off, and money keeps rolling in.

Living happily is the top priority.

If the thought of living perpetually at your dream vacation spot interests you, using the Digital Rental Method might be for you!

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money In 2022?

Make Money Online With Digital Landlord

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I have an actual lead generation business
  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve drop-shipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: being a Digital Landlord

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, using the Digital Rental Method is for you.

Why?

1)Time commitment: If you have an hour or two per day, you can do this. Even if you want to drop everything and commit fully, that works too.

You don’t have to be constantly working to make money. The income you generate is recurring.

Imagine taking off for a month to places like Hawaii, Paris, National Parks, & other spots people only dream about – all while collecting dozens of little $500-$2,000 checks. It’s like a dream come true.

But it’s only possible to do it when you’ve separated your income from your time.

2) Complete control: You completely control everything, which means no one can take your business away from you. This is a huge difference from other lead generation models, where Google can end you at the snap of a finger.

3) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

4) Great Margins:

using the Digital Rental Method, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best-case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.

5) You’re Helping REAL People: With the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other lead generation programs like Online Marketing, which might work out.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.
