Alright, so Bigspot.com doesn’t exactly fit into a nice category.

At the end of the day, survey websites is a… unique way to think about making money.

It’s certainly possible to make money with off-the-wall businesses like this. Still, unless you’re interested in taking years out of your life to experiment with an unproven business model, I would look elsewhere.

My #1 personal recommendation if we’re talking about starting a fully-online business has got to be the Lead Generation & Ad Agency business models.

What Is BigSpot.Com?

BigSpot.com is a really neat and fun page to look at once you go there. Only a small graphic shows you may sign up, do surveys, and receive payment. There is a signup form after that.

At first glance, it seems like a simple way to receive payment for taking surveys. BigSpot occasionally airs TV ads to highlight how great a platform is to join to share your opinion and get paid for it.

Nevertheless, I’ve learned from testing and plenty of paid survey sites to have a better look before getting overly excited.

So I needed to research what Bigspot surveys provide.

How Does BigSpot Work?

BigSpot.com is a paid survey service that has just started advertising on TV. As with many top-notch market research websites, you may sign up for free. However, they work differently than other survey sites that offer paid surveys.

Instead of giving you surveys to complete and paying you for your work, Big Spot acts as a portal site that, after receiving your information, just lists other free paid survey websites and entices you to sign up for their services.

Since BigSpot.com does not really provide you with surveys, they are not in charge of paying you. Rather, every individual business you register with will enforce different laws and policies about how you’ll be compensated, how frequently you’ll be compensated, and what sort of compensation you’ll get.

BigSpot is upfront and honest about market research surveys being a great way to earn additional cash, although not for “getting rich.” They also say on their Terms page that Big Spot won’t ever question you paying costs or fees at any time to them.

So What Is The Deal With Big Spot?

BigSpot.com is not a paid market research company or survey company because it does not itself provide you with any specific surveys.

Instead, if you compare their many policies, you’ll see that Big Spot can profit online by selling your info to advertisers and salespeople.

What Does BigSpot.Com Offer?

There isn’t much information regarding the website’s purpose or services. You may find the signup form under the privacy policy, contact form, and terms. Before registering, there is no more additional info.

As a result, you must log in to access the website’s services. Before registering, most legit survey websites often let you view the rewards, site history, etc. So, I was somewhat unsure about joining BigSpot because of this.

After joining, I discovered that you would find many good reasons you can’t get additional info on BigSpot.com before enrolling.

Does BigSpot Com Really Pay?

Nope. Users are connected to websites that pay them to complete surveys, but you have to register on such websites to take advantage of the payment.

Instead of using BigSpot.com to pay you, they pay you through their website.

According to the conditions, users will have the opportunity to make money by completing surveys, some of which may be from BigSpot and others from third parties.

I can’t find one single site on BigSpot.com that lists surveys or keeps a running account of cash earned from surveys considered. I don’t believe it really happens that way on their website, despite the fact they are saying in their terms that they do.

Is Big Spot Safe As A Paid Survey Site?

BigSpot.com has received a consumer rating of 2.21 stars from 29 reviewers, according to sitejabber.com, indicating that most customers are often unsatisfied with their experiences. In addition, personal information issues are frequently mentioned by BigSpot customers who complain. Among survey websites, BigSpot is ranked number 51.

What’s The Point Of This Paid Survey Site?

I’m also wondering. What does BigSpot gain from it if all they intend to do is connect people with other survey companies, which anyone might find and register with on their own?

The answer likely has two parts. To begin with, many of these companies offer affiliate programs. BigSpot may use affiliate links, earning money for each user who registers for these legit survey sites using their affiliate link.

Nevertheless, they do not actually need all of the info you need to give at registration. They do not request much but get your email address, race, and birthday. This seems like info that can pull in some cash if sold.

Their privacy policy states that they don’t sell your info without permission. The point is, it’s doubtful they come out and get permission.

It’s likely disguised as an offer, which you decide to accept, and consequently, in the fine print, you agree to allow them to share your info. They could get paid well for doing this.

There’s no chance to determine if this is truly the case. Still, they definitely need to be earning profits somehow, & they’re not generating it by running surveys for advertising companies.

This is how genuine paid survey sites make their money. That’s the reason they don’t mind providing incentives to take surveys.

Is It Worth Signing Up For BigSpot?

The short answer is NO.

I don’t see any reason to register for BigSpot. I’ve seen and reviewed numerous comparable survey aggregators, as these websites are called, and typically supply hardly any worth.

It reminds me of PanelPlace utilizing the same strategies but at least provides more helpful information. I believe, nevertheless, it’s still a waste of time, but at least they offer several additional values to the users (though not really a lot).

But, when it comes to building a business, you have plenty of options.

And even if you’re dead set on becoming a freelancer, you’ve got way better options than Big Spot.

Remember that I don’t get paid to promote any of the programs I review. I think a survey site is a great business model, but you could leave way too much money on the table.

Can You Make Money With Big Spot?

NO.

But you can certainly make money with survey sites, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to become a survey freelancer (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money.

Time for the $1,000,000 question: is BigSpot actually a scam?

I wouldn’t technically call it a scam, though others might.

It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.

No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.

But the second, more important question is: is BigSpot actually worth the investment?

My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.

Countless other business models are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?

I’d rather have a program with thousands of successful students & plenty of room for others to join.

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

I’m not saying Bigspot.com itself is a piece of trash, I’m just saying you need to be very, very careful.

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.
