Tired of clocking into your 9 to 5? Did the car break down? Or maybe you just wanna take your spouse on a vacation for once?

If any of these scenarios hit home, you’re probably in need of earning extra money.

I certainly can relate..

For me, it was when my boss sat me down in his cramped cubicle for our annual performance review..

After a year of pouring my heart and soul into my job, he said, “You’re doing great..But I’m only able to give a 5% increase in salary.”

That was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

From then on, I vowed with every fiber of my being to figure out how to make money online.

In fact, my initial goal was to learn how to make 500 a day. Fast forward to today: I make $20k+ per month and have built passive income streams to allow me to live the digital nomad lifestyle.

But I could’ve saved A TON of time and emotional stress if I had just known what the best business models were…

That’s why I’m here to pay it forward…

In this guide, I’m sharing 11 ways to make $500 a day online.

Alright, without further ado, let’s dig in!

11. Flip Your Belongings

If you’re looking to make a few dollars fast, then flipping stuff might be your best bet.

Everyone’s got junk they don’t need lying around in the house, everything from video games to designer clothes.

But if you wanna turn this into a hustle, you’re gonna need a keen eye for spotting products with high potential value.

Essentially, you’re gonna head over to thrift stores, garage sales, and even places like Craigslist. You’ll buy under-valued items at a heavily discounted rate, then list them on eBay for higher…

The most common items to flip are furniture, clothes, electronics, and collectible toys.

As the saying goes, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure…

While it’s a good first step to sliding some extra money into your pockets, you’re gonna need to do a lot of driving around town to make a decent living…

10. Deliver Groceries With Instacart

People are getting lazier and lazier…

Amazon has spoiled us all.

Now, we don’t even wanna drive around the corner and bag our own groceries.

That’s okay because we can use other people’s laziness for our benefit. While people are splurging on Instacart, we can profit some extra pocket change.

You know what that means, right?

An extra vacay here and there…

The problem is, Instacart isn’t gonna make you 500 a day, sorry to say. In-store shoppers make under $15/hour, while full-service shoppers make between $15 to $20/hour.

If you live in a world where there’s 48 hours in a day, maybe you could string together $500. But otherwise… there’s just not enough time in the day.

There’s really no difference between an Instacart shopper and minimum-wage jobs, in my opinion..

This goes for all other odd jobs like becoming an Uber driver, dog walking, taking online surveys, or scouring the web for sign-up bonuses.

But that said, if you have no income… well, getting an odd job could be a decent starting point. Maybe you could pick up a few extra shifts and scramble together enough money so you can invest into making real money online…

9. Become A Freelance Writer

Before ChatGPT overtakes the world, there’s still room to write on the internet…

Google is filled with content.

The idea is people are always “Googling” stuff online, like:

  • How to make chicken alfredo
  • What should I do if my dog has fleas?
  • Best marketing software tools for small businesses
  • Yoga classes near me

With 8.5 billion Google searches a day, websites are in need of content. That’s where you come in riding in on your white horse.

You offer to write blog posts for businesses and help them rank on Google. When their web pages rank, they get more visitors to their site, which means more sales.

Entry-level writers get paid $50 to $100 per article, while more specialized writers can charge anywhere from $200 to $1,000 or more per blog post.

I like this idea because there’s no cost to get started – just a laptop and basic writing skills. That said, freelance writers are a dime a dozen… which allows businesses to pay writers peanut wages.

To stand out, you’re gonna need exceptional conversion writing skills.

Writing that makes people cling to your every word.. Kinda like your favorite rom-com novels…

And to get to 500 a day, you’re gonna need to write a few articles a day, which is really hard if you’re working for content mills.

8. Rent Out Space In Your Home With Airbnb

The new American dream is passive income. It’s no longer climbing up the corporate ladder, kissing up and shining shoes for the head honchos..

But there’s many roads you can take to achieve passive income glory.

One idea is renting out your space with Airbnb.

If you got an spare bedroom, it’s an easy way to make money without trading hours for dollars.

Unlike traditional rentals, Airbnb could be more profitable if you charge on a per-night basis.

For example, the average apartment rent is $1,988 in Seattle. But you can charge $153 per night, which equals $4,590 per month if you were booked out every night.

Now, to get to 500 a day, you need multiple apartments..

If you wanna buy multiple apartments, then that’d cost you a fortune… Sure, you could convince real estate management companies to let you host their place… like what Brian Page recommends..

But it’s waaay harder than it looks.

Hosting is no cakewalk, either. You gotta decorate the space attractively, have the right amenities, and offer a great location.

For most beginners, Airbnb won’t be in the cards. But if you’ve got an extra spare room, why not put it up and rake in a few thousand dollars extra somewhat passively?

…On a side note, this goes for renting vehicles as well, like cars, RVs, and boats. Just make sure you have comprehensive and collision insurance…

7. Monetize A High-Traffic Website With Affiliate Marketing

People get paid to do what you’ve done your entire life for free – use stuff and recommend it to others.

Companies won’t say no to free money, which is why they offer affiliate programs…

When you help spread the good word by sending customers their way, businesses pay you a small cut.

affiliate marketing business model

You simply promote products from companies. And best of all, you don’t need:

  • a product to sell..
  • to hold inventory
  • or deal with customer service

Gurus like Keala Kanae and Zach Crawford make it sound easy…But the truth is getting affiliate marketing to work is much harder..

You’re gonna need about 500 to 1,000 visitors a day to even make a decent living..

That’s because most blogs convert at about 0.5% to 2%..

Say you sell a $50 product and make $10 per sale.

Well… if you got 15,000 visitors in a month at a 2% conversion rate, you’d get 300 sales per month.

That leaves you with $3,000 a month…(300x$10)

Which isn’t bad, but you still need a lot more to hit the holy grail of 500 a day…

That means you might have to venture off into monetizing your website, like placing ads on your site or selling digital products..

6. Work As An Influencer

Are obsessed with social media? Do you have a knack for creating content that people engage with?

You might consider becoming an influencer…

Brands are looking for influencers with a large following on their social media accounts..

Why?

Because brands know that customers relate with influencers they look up to..

If Kim Kardashian uses a certain brand of makeup, her fans will follow suit…

But you don’t have to be uber-famous with millions of followers.

A micro-influencer with 10k to 50k followers can earn between $100 to $500 per post by promoting products from a brand… And a TikTok influencer with the same number of followers can earn $1,500 followers…

Influencer shoutout prices

That said, you need very high engagement metrics to make this work..

Beyond just shoutouts, you can supplement your income by working exclusively with brands to earn more consistent income.

Gymshark athletes make anywhere from $6k to $100 per year, depending on their following..

Of course, the big drawback is that you’re gonna need to be really good at the social media game… If you’re camera shy, this might not be a good option for you.

5. Start A Service Arbitrage Business

Service arbitrage (also called dropservicing) takes a page from the dropshipping playbook. Rather than flipping toys and electronics, you sell services at a markup.

Examples of services you could sell are:

Types of ServicesHow Much Freelancers ChargeHow Much You Can Charge Businesses
Facebook ads$75 to $150+ per hour$1,000 to $3000 per month
Website design~$75 per hour$500 to $3000 per website
Graphic design$25 – $150 per hour$100 to $1,000
Social media management$15 to $50 per hour$300 to $500 monthly
Coding$60 to $100 per hour$5000 to $10,000+ per project

The premise is that you take one service from a freelancer (offered at a lower price) and then sell it to someone else at a markup.

service arbitrage business model

It’s probably one of the fastest ways to make $500 a day since you’re selling high-ticket services.

Guys like Iman Gadzhi are crushing this business model…

All you really need is a handful of clients to get to $500 a day. The problem is that there’s a lot of moving parts with creating an agency, such as:

  • Prospecting – you need to be great at finding potential clients who can pay you top-dollar
  • Sales – you need to convince those clients to pay you money.
  • Team management – you need to know how to train and manage freelancers so they meet client expectations
  • Marketing – You’re probably gonna need to build landing pages, sales funnels, and email sequences to nurture leads before they buy

It’s a great strategy, don’t get me wrong. But there’s a lot of pre-requisite skills you need to learn in order to get this right..

4. Sell Products On Amazon

Amazon has taken the lion’s share of the ecommerce market. As a seller, you can take advantage of their 310 million customers worldwide.

You can sell just about anything on Amazon, everything from pet supplies to baby products.

Rather than having to hold inventory in your garage, you can send shipments to Amazon’s warehouse, and they do all the heavy lifting for you. When you enroll in their FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) program, they will pick, pack, and ship all orders for you, so you don’t have to lift a finger.

Here’s how the business model works:

  1. Your job is to source profitable products people are searching for…
  2. You send those products to the warehouse.
  3. Then you’ll list them on Amazon to see what sticks
Amazon FBA business model

If the stars align, money will roll in passively without a lot of upkeep..

The catch?

Welll, Amazon is hyper-competitive. There’s 9.7 million other sellers all vying for customers, just like you.

Worse of all, they can undercut your prices to steal your rankings on Amazon.

It’s also all about reviews. Listings without reviews struggle to get noticed.

And you don’t keep any of the customer data… So, getting repeat purchases isn’t likely. If you don’t wanna deal with the cycle of good and bad months, I’d say you move on to a better opportunity that can provide predictable recurring income…

3. Start A Print-On-Demand Online Store

If you’re a designer or artist, physical products might be the perfect canvas for monetizing your creativity.

From t-shirts to hats, backpacks to mugs, you put your own original spin on everyday products and sell them online.

With Print on Demand (POD), you design a product digitally, ship it to a supplier, and they handle the printing and order fulfillment.

pod business model

And unlike Amazon FBA, where you can buy and hold inventory, only to be left with a pile of products that aren’t selling, POD follows the dropshipping model.

That means money comes outta your pocket only after orders are placed.

It’s good because you create original products rather than being another copycat like most e-commerce sellers.

The downside is you have to create really unique designs that people haven’t already seen. Sure, there’s online courses, like Ecom Family Academy, that reach the POD model, I just think it’s not the most reliable way to make 500 a day..

2. Create Digital Products

The education system is crumbling like the great Roman empire… Tuition costs are rising, but college graduates aren’t exactly earning more.

This problem has led to a boom in online education.

Learning management platforms like Teachable, Udemy, Skillshare, and Coursera are taking the education space by storm..

People are learning new skills every day, like coding, web development, and stock trading online…

If you’ve got a skill to teach online, you can easily charge a few hundred dollars for your course.

Internet gurus like Lucas Lee Tyson teaches this stuff… That said, beginners shouldn’t start making digital products or a coaching business.

Get results first, then help others…

1. Get Started With Digital Rental Method

Don’t get me wrong, all of the money-making methods above have the potential to net you $500 a day…

But, most side hustles have one of either three problems.

  1. The money is unpredictable.
  2. You slave away trading hours for dollars.
  3. Getting started isn’t beginner-friendly…

The good news is that there’s one business model that solves all of this…And pretty much the only money-making strategy I could find that trumps all…

The Digital Rental Method.

From modern ages entrepreneurs like Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos to the OG pioneers like Henry Ford and Sam Walton…

Every business owner that has walked this earth has struggled at one point or another with this one BIG problem..

Getting Customers.

There’s roofers, landscapers, chefs, personal trainers, dentists, and all types of professions that could use more business…

That’s where you swoop in.

Riding your horse like a white knight, you give them the quick fix – more customers overnight..

But you might be asking, isn’t getting customers hard?

Yes, usually… That is unless you follow the Digital Rental Method.

It is one of the only programs that teach tried-and-true methods for attracting ready-to-buy customers..

Best of all, everything is pretty much copy-and-paste, so just about any Joe Schmoe can do it.

And unlike most businesses that require you to be super hands-on, this is one of the most hands-off businesses you’ll find..

Think of it like Digital Real Estate. Like physical real estate, you set it up once, and then it keeps paying you month after month..

Every check you get is up to a few thousand dollars… So with a few clients in hand, it’s very possible to make 500 a day.

So, if this sounds interesting and you wanna fire your boss and replace your job income in the next 90 to 180 days….

How To Make 500 In A Day: My Criteria On Choosing The Best Method For Making Money

Here’s the harsh and ugly truth..

Your business is probably gonna fail. 20% of businesses fall off by year one, and 48% of them fail within five years…

So before you click away, I wanna share my criteria for how to choose the best business model:

  • Beginner-Friendly – Can anyone do it if they put in the work?
  • Low-Startup Cost – Can you get started without digging deep into your emergency fund?
  • Profitability – Are profit margins at least 50%?
  • Predictability – Can you forecast your income for the next month, or does your business bank account resemble the highs and lows of the stock market?
  • Passive income – Does it take a lot of work to maintain, or can you spend weeks on vacation without a ton of upkeep?

The only business model that checks all these boxes is the Digital Rental Method.

The Bottom Line: How To Earn 500 Dollars A Day

With the economy looking the way it does, I don’t blame you for searching for ways to earn money.

It seems like the media has sold us all a bill of goods.

Go to school, get an education, and we’ll land high-paying jobs, they said…

News flash: that model no longer works.

The only way out is to align yourself with free thinkers and highly-ambitious hustlers who were once in your shoes.. By that I mean joining a community of successful people who strive to buck the trend and live life outside of their cubicle.

If that sounds like you, you may want to join the Digital Rental Method…

It’s kinda like joining a secret society of digital nomads who travel the world and live life on their terms.. Something that the government, school system, and politicians are probably not too fond of you learning about…

My #1 Alternative For Making Money Online In 2024

Number 1 Way To Make Money Online

Alright, time for me to get real with my lovely readers for a moment:

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve drop-shipped a toilet-bowl putting green on Shopify
  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing
  • I’ve tried to become an influencer on social media platforms

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by these make-money methods that many gurus try to dangle in front of you…

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

And if you’re strategy is to implement these “quick hacks” like driving uber or taking paid surveys, think again.

Sure they could work, but they very rarely will get you to the 500 a day mark without working yourself to death…

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried, and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.

There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is the Digital Rental Method.

Why? It has proven leaders with their own 7-figure businesses implementing exactly what they teach you.

I’ve also got over a dozen personal friends in there, so I feel comfortable telling you it works.

Whether you’re a complete newbie or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, their program works.

Here’s Why:

1)Time: If you’ve got a spare hour or two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.

And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring (for the most part).

That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world.

But you can only do that once you’ve created an income stream that doesn’t require YOU to be there all day, every day.

2)Big Margins: With most businesses, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money.

When you build a digital rental empire, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on “auto-pilot”.

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you want to double your income with most business models, you’d have to spend double the time working…And more money causes more headaches…

And I can guarantee you that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with most money-making strategies is that you’re basically only helping yourself.

But when you follow the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off-the-wall business models and maybe hit it big one day.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or a few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

If you wanna make extra cash while helping real people who need it, click here to see how it all works.
