It’s also pretty hard to prove that Karla made her money selling eBooks on Amazon, which makes me wonder whether she actually made it all from selling her course.

She also has a YouTube channel with around 5.68 K subscribers, where she teaches writing tips they can use on Amazon Kindle. But it does look like the course hasn’t been updated for a while.

2. While there is a 30-day money-back guarantee, it seems to be part of a marketing ploy. Not only are there plenty of conditions you’ll have to meet, but there are customers who’ve complained that they never got a refund upon requesting one.
3. There’s also the issue of hidden expenses with this program. According to this Reddit user, Karla Marie’s course misleads people on the total amount expected to complete the course from start to finish.

With that said, is Fiction Profits Academy legit? Yes, they won’t take off with your money. You also get a website login to access the course. But is it worth your investment? My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.

To be fair, Karla Marie isn’t a scammer. She is legit and offers solid strategies on how to make money in the self-publishing industry. So, is the Fictions Profits Academy cost worth it? My answer is No.

Most of the course curriculum is something you can find for free online. Also, there’s a lot of work, stress, and money involved before you can finally publish your first book. These are a few of the reasons I don’t think the cost is worth it.

Now, here’s my number 1 way to make money online.

What Is My #1 Way To Make Money Online In 2024?

Alright, it’s time for me to get real with you for a moment:

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

• I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
• I’ve drop-shipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
• I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say there is no “perfect” business model.

THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by stuff like Fiction Profits Academy.

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried, and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.

There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is the Digital Landlords program.

The profit margins for Fiction Profits Academy aren’t guaranteed, as most self-published authors have been known to make $150 per month. That’s too little compared to the amount of money you invest.

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with Kindle Direct Publishing, you would need to publish more eBooks and improve your marketing game.

And I can guarantee you that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with this type of publishing is that you’re basically only helping yourself.
