You may have found your way here after hearing about the well-known Mikkelsen twins, who promote an online course called Audio Income Academy, and you probably want to know if they are legit or not.
If so, keep reading.
I’ll talk about the Mikkelsen twins in this review, how much money they make, and whether they’re real or a fraud. I’ll also reveal if the Audio Income Academy is worth checking out or not.
But before I get too deep.
Alright, so Mikkelsen Twins doesn’t exactly fit into a nice category.
At the end of the day, the Audiobook Publishing industry is a… unique way to think about making money.
It’s certainly possible to make money with off-the-wall businesses like this, but unless you’re interested in taking years out of your life to experiment with an unproven business model, I would look elsewhere.
My #1 personal recommendation if we’re talking about starting a fully-online business has got to be the Lead Generation & Ad Agency business models.

The twins founded the online education company, PublishingLife.com to help people escape their 9-to-5 job. As a result, many people have been able to change their lives with the twins’ Amazon book publishing business model.
Their students have earned a total of $20 million in confirmed earnings to date. According to Rasmus, this opportunity provides a lifetime of freedom and the ability to travel the world while making money. Aside from real estate and the stock market, he claims that this is one of the most successful businesses to start that may provide you with passive income.
The Life Of The Mikkelsen Twins Before Audio Income Academy
Rasmus and Christian were introverted students and rarely spoke out in class because they hated being called on. Nobody could have imagined that they would one day earn a living by exposing themselves to millions of total strangers online.
Then, in 2015, they hit their lowest point. “What are we going to do?” they thought. What could they do to help society? As a result, the twins decided to enroll in community college. They worked hard in class, received straight A’s, and started to gain confidence.
They made extra money by delivering Chinese food a few nights a week. Christian and Rasmus would listen to audiobooks and self-help podcasts as they drove around. And that’s when they started looking for ways to earn money online.
And the rest was history.

Some think it’s a fraud, and the Mikkelsen Twins have been banned from Amazon several times, while others claim it’s helped them attain financial freedom or easy money. In a world of fake reviews, it’s hard to trust positive reviews. But, after several hours of market research into Audiobook Income Academy and the Mikkelsen Twins, here’s what I learned.
The twin brothers invented the term “ghost audio” to entice more people to attend their free webinar training on the publishinglife.com website. On their landing page, you may also find some exaggerated claims of quick money with little to no work schedule. This is just a bunch of hype meant to get you to sign up for their webinar.
What Is Ghost Audio?
The Mikkelsen twins define ghost audio as using ghostwriters to produce content for you, then resell it as your own as eBooks, audiobooks, and physical books on online retailers like Amazon. You outsource the work while earning money passively. This is referred to as “ghost audio” by the Mikkelsen twins.
What Is The Net Worth Of The Mikkelsen Twins?
They began filming videos for their YouTube channel on their experiences with self-publishing. Then, AIA was created. They are now busy selling courses for millions of dollars. The net worth of the Mikkelsen twins is estimated to be three million dollars each.

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue making money online with the traditional route. Here are just a few:
Are The Mikkelsen Twins Legit?
Time for the $1,000,000 question: are The Mikkelsen Twins actually legit?
I wouldn’t technically call them a scam, though others might.
It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.
What I’m saying is that after buying, someone will send you a login to a website where you can view their material. No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.
But the second, more important question is: is Audio Income Academy actually worth the investment?
My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.
There are countless other business models that are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?
I’d rather have a program with thousands of successful students & plenty of room for others to join.

THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true, because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by stuff like The Mikkelsen Twins.
They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.
This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried, and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.
There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is the Digital Landlords program.

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…
If you wanted to double your income with audio book publishing, you would need to hire ghostwriters to create content for you and resell it as your own ebooks. And I can guarantee you, that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.
4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with audio book publishing is that you’re basically only helping yourself.
But when you’re a Digital Landlord, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:
Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.
You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.
Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.
So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off-the-wall business models like Amazon book publishing and maybe hit it big one day.
You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.
OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
