There’s no denying that SEO techniques and online advertising are the baits for potential clients. You’re probably here because you know you need to learn this stuff, or else you’ll get left behind. Don’t worry; you’ve come to the right place.

But before that, I’m giving you a quick overview of what I think works…

Alright, so Online Marketing doesn’t exactly fit into a nice category.

At the end of the day, online marketing is a… unique way to think about making money.

It’s certainly possible to make money with off-the-wall businesses like this. Still, I would look elsewhere if you’re interested in taking years out of your life to experiment with an unproven business model.

My #1 personal recommendation if we’re talking about starting a fully-online business has got to be the Lead Generation & Ad Agency business models.

There are a handful of programs that teach you the ropes, but my #1 choice that combines both of those business models into one is the Digital Rental Method program

But, if you’re hard-pressed to jump head-first into an off-the-wall business model, let’s continue on to my full breakdown of Online Marketing.

How Online Marketing Works: Definition Of Terms

The Digital Marketing Strategies That Work

If you’re part of the small business owners tier and new to social media marketing, you’re probably at a loss to showcase your business’s products.

Before developing an effective marketing campaign, you have to know the basics first. Let’s make sure we’re all on the same page with the terms I’ll be using in this article:

SEO: Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

The process of making a website and its content very relevant to search engines and searchers.

It raises a site’s ranking for related words and phrases when it works. To reach your potential clients, you have to be aware of your platform’s ranking signals.

Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Marketing

It’s a form of paid search marketing. A type of search marketing in which advertisers pay a set amount every time a potential customer clicks on their ad.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

This combines SEO and PPC. It involves explicitly “putting in the face” information to people who publicly and clearly use keywords to indicate that they want a certain product, service, or information.

Six Rules Of Online Marketing

Six Rules Of Online Marketing

I’ve put together a few pointers to help you start out with your marketing campaign:

  1. Keep Audience In Mind In All Your Marketing Efforts

Customers don’t want to read articles that promote your products or carry your sales pitches.

Remember that they want to know how your company can assist in solving their problems, not the other way around.

You’ll produce content for your clients and prospects and help yourself rank higher in search engine algorithms if you write for the audience you want to reach.

Search engines generate money by displaying the most relevant user search results. This implies that the more valuable your content is, the more likely it is to be found.

Another thing to remember is to talk in the searcher’s language.

Most fields have their own vocabulary, and you should keep that in mind when using keywords—paying attention to the industry you are writing about will payout in the end.

  1. Engage And Collaborate

You should always be honest and open when you talk to your potential customers on social media.

Look at the conversations in your network and think about how your organization; this will roughly give you an idea of the general interest of your crowd.

  1. Keep In Mind The Four Ps In Marketing Campaigns

Product, Place, Promotion, and Price. These four tools can keep your business model strong. I’ll give a quick summary of them here:

Product

Think about your website like a product manager thinks about his line of products and gives different parts of your website to other areas of expertise.

You should always add new content to your blog.

Customer service should be in charge of answering questions from social media and your website, and you should always be promoting and testing new deals and features.

Place

The phrase “location, location, location” is probably familiar to you. This is true even on the internet, though your Google search and maps rating is more important than your real location.

Focus on map listings and review sites to improve your location rating.

Price

Prices online are often less than retail prices, so use that extra money to be competitive. Customers will look around for the best deal.

Promotion

You should always be testing; I can’t emphasize this any further. Change things often to keep them fresh and up-to-date and attract more people.

Be creative and know what your potential customers want.

  1. Don’t Stop Trying To Be Better.

In online advertising, just because something works the first time doesn’t guarantee it will always work.

Try new things, improve what already works, and fix everything wrong. Your company will prosper as long as you are there.

Make the rules.

Online marketing is constantly evolving. A new idea typically takes 6 to 12 months to catch on and become widely used.

Keep up with trends and look for additional ways to make innovative marketing efforts to get ahead of the competition.

  1. Automate Without Losing Personal Touch

While it’s important to have at least some content prepared in advance to maintain interest, the platform you use should also allow for frequent changes.

Knowing the future of marketing, how will your business behave? Your response to your client’s shifting needs should always satisfy their needs.

Doing this may create a flexible and reliable business rather than one led by whims or whichever new marketing technique grabs your attention.

Last but not least, authentic, trendy, trustworthy, and adaptable marketing is required if you want your firm to succeed.

This business paradox is part of the reason why inbound marketing and a smart amount of automation are so effective for company growth today.

  1. Rules Of Online Marketing: Consumer Protection Laws

While winning is obviously the goal, maintaining a competitive position is just as important.

You must be aware of the Federal Trade Commission’s position on consumer protection if your business intends to regularly produce marketing content for social media or any other platform.

The Federal Trade Commission Act allows the FTC to ban deceptive and unfair acts or practices to protect all consumers.

That is, advertising must be truthful and not deceive people.

A claim may be deceptive if important information is omitted or if the claim indicates something untrue.

On another area of online marketing, the issue of unsolicited commercial electronic mail communications, Congress created the CAN-SPAM Act to protect consumers from email spam.

The CAN-SPAM Act mandates the Federal Communications Commission to adopt regulations governing commercial email and certain text messages transmitted to wireless devices such as mobile phones, but not email in general.

Are There Alternatives To Online Marketing?

other business models to choose from

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:

Is Online Marketing A Scam?

Is It A Scam

Time for the $1,000,000 question: is Online Marketing actually a scam?

I wouldn’t technically call it a scam, though others might.

It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.

What I’m saying is: after buying, someone will, in fact, send you a login to a website where you can actually view their material. No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.

But the second, more important question is: is Online Marketing actually worth the investment?

My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.

There are countless other business models that are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?

I’d rather have a program with thousands of successful students & plenty of room for others to join.

If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know I recommend a few different programs depending on your skills & goals.

My current top choice is using the Digital Rental Method because you have a proven, systematic path to 6-figures, and you can do it from anywhere you want.

I’ve got friends in there that are posting deals from the middle of the woods in a camper van with their pet pig… which is kinda cool.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money From Home In 2023?

Digital Real Estate

Alright, time for me to get real with my lovely readers for a moment:

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve drop-shipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true, because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by stuff like Online Marketing.

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

I’m not saying Online Marketing itself is a piece of trash, I’m just saying you need to be very, very careful.

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried, and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.

There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is the Digital Rental Method program.

Why? It has proven leaders with their own 7-figure businesses implementing exactly what they teach you.

Did 6 Rules of Online Marketing In 2023 Make The List?

I’ve also got over a dozen personal friends in there, so I feel comfortable telling you it works.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, their program works.

Here’s why:

1)Time: If you’ve got a spare hour or two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.

And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring (for the most part).

That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world.

But you can only do that once you’ve created an income stream that doesn’t require YOU to be there all day, every day.

2)Big Margins: With most businesses, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money.

using the Digital Rental Method, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best-case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on “auto-pilot.”

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with Online Marketing, you would need to master the basics and work hard. And I can guarantee you that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with Online Marketing is that you’re basically only helping yourself.

But With the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off-the-wall business models like Online Marketing and maybe hit it big one day.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.
