This is yet another of those shady online courses that promise to teach you how to make money selling low-quality Chinese imports.
However, if you are willing to gamble everything on a business model that wholesalers recently ruined, go for it!
I won’t stop you from making another mistake your family will give you crap about.
It’s supposed to show you how to become a 6-figure FBA king…but it’s truly out of reach for most people like you, constrained by budgets and student loans.
That’s just the truth…you won’t get rich by chasing the next hot product that only lasts 3 months.
Valiant Consultants is pretty much your standard dropshipping course.
If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know that I don’t like dropshipping as a business model for several reasons.
That being said, it IS possible to make money with it, so I want to give you an honest review of this particular program.
But first, let me clear the air on one important thing:
Dropshipping has never been – and will never be – a passive, recurring business. No matter what the guru might tell you, it requires constant work.
I’m telling you this from my own personal experience running several dropshipping stores on both Shopify AND Clickfunnels.
If you’re looking for a business that you’ll need to be super active in, dropshipping might be for you.
If you want to make money while you sleep and travel the world, dropshipping just isn’t it.
The main reason?
To have real success with dropshipping, you need a bulletproof system for finding the hottest new products before anyone else.
In the very best case scenario, you have a relationship with your supplier, where they give you a heads up on products that are about to pop. These relationships don’t typically come around until you’ve done 6-figures in business with the supplier.
In the worst-case scenario, you’re testing a bunch of products with ads, losing money until you find that one winner.
I’m not saying dropshipping is a bad idea based on that alone… most businesses require you to lose money before you actually make money, so it’s somewhat normal.
But let’s assume you DO, in fact, have the next fidget-spinner craze product months before anyone else knows about it…
That’s great! But now you’re gonna need to get people to buy it.
- Tens of thousands of dollars in ads
- Tons of time spent split testing to find the best landing page variations, best product descriptions, best ad copy, best ad videos, etc.
Again, some people thrive on that and love it. So if you’re looking for that level of constant testing and gambling, it might be a good fit.
It’s also worth calling out that Facebook has a track record of banning you FOR LIFE from advertising on their platform for dropshipping.
Think about it: it ruins a user’s experience with Facebook when a product shows up 45 days after they’ve ordered it, and is nothing like the product they thought they were buying.
So Facebook would rather ban you from their platform than risk a bad user experience.
Suffice to say, it’s a lot of stress for not a lot of payback.
As someone that actually ran a dropshipping business, I can tell you from personal experience that your time can be better spent with other business models.
If you’d prefer a business model that generates recurring, semi-passive income, you may be interested in becoming a Digital Landlord.
- No sketchy suppliers
- No razor-thin margins
- No banned ad accounts
- No super angry customers
- No spending $10K testing an ad campaign
It’s something that you could make anywhere from $2,000 – $10,000 with consistently, month after month.
A stream of income that you can build as high (or low) as you feel like building it.
If that sounds interesting, you might want to think about becoming a Digital Landlord.
For the Valiant Consultants review, let’s keep reading.
Who Is Steve Mayer?
Before joining Amazon in 2013, Steve Mayer worked for a company that helped people fix their credit.
He spent a year and a lot of money trying to figure out what Amazon FBA was.
He finally had an “Aha!” moment when he found a unique way to choose products for Amazon FBA.
Even though he didn’t keep his money-making secrets to himself, he did start to help other sellers in Facebook groups for Amazon sellers. That’s when things really started to take off.
He soon realized that he needed to take things to the next level while still developing a product. So he made a plan to coach Amazon FBA sellers one-on-one.
As more people became interested in him, his consulting business became a one-on-ten coaching program.
Steve made a program called FBA Freedom Hackers Academy to help others start selling on Amazon. He did this to reach more people. It now sells for less than $3k.
His results say a lot about him.
Steve helps hundreds of students–2 have created many millions, and hundreds earn six figures, adding to nearly one-half of the pupils are in a position to kill their dreaded 9-5 jobs.
But he was not gonna stop there!
Upon watching many of his pupils struggle to understand the FBA procedure, Steve started looking into methods on how he could assist them more.
In 2019, Mayer joined a group of Amazon Automation specialists that had developed a company of 150+ virtual assistants in Bangladesh and the Philippines. Using this particular group, Mayer managed to provide Done-For-You Amazon Services to the tune of $30k to $40k per store (as a setup charge, inventory is extra.)
In earlier 2020, Steven pivoted his business. Not in reaction to COVID 19, but for an alternative purpose.
He’d make the following realization:
Amazon Dropshipping wasn’t a viable business model. Plus, he was going to have to produce a switch.
What Business Model Did Steve Switch To?
Amazon FBA Wholesale.
The distinction between Wholesaling and Dropshipping on Amazon boils down to inventory.
If you’re dropshipping, you have no inventory. Alternately, once your product is purchased, you purchase from the cheaper resource after having the product delivered straight to your customer.
In the case you’re wholesaling, you buy inventory in bulk from a maker or maybe dealer, after which get it delivered to Amazon’s fulfillment facility so that it can be sent speedily to your customers.
Why Did Steven Switch From Dropshipping To Wholesaling On Amazon?
First, Dropshipping on Amazon is against the TOS (terms of service). Therefore someone doing this is risking an account suspension.
That is what occurred to a lot of Valiant Consultants customers.
They would mail Steven the setup charge of $30k, after which their account would be suspended a couple of weeks later.
So Steven got all sorts of complaints, and Valiant Consultants lawsuit threats have been made everywhere (see his BBB reviews below), which eventually motivated him to think of the action from Dropshipping to Wholesale FBA.
Where Can You Find Steven As Of 2022?
Steven Mayer has roughly 11,700 YouTube subscribers. His channel has some good videos, although he hasn’t been active on it lately.
It’s been over a year since his last video, which is like a lifetime in the world of online marketing.
Mayer’s Instagram page is private, although he has a sizable following of 379k people. But with only 66 postings, it appears he’s also not very active there.
I guess he just doesn’t spend much time on social media.
Today I received his introduction to the position; let’s get into the nuts & bolts of Valiant Consultants.
What Is Valiant Consultants’ Done-For-You? (In-Depth)
Step 1: Product Research
Amazon has around 350 million different products and 6,000 separate product directory groups.
Everyone knows your chosen products will make or break your Amazon business. Consequently, you must select profitable items.
Several methods are available today for doing this, as well as a wide range of unique, helpful tools for making quick decisions on which products to choose.
Everything takes time to study and money for the equipment subscriptions (which is why someone undertakes Steven’s offer to get the entire procedure accomplished for them.)
Step 2: Listing Construction
After you have selected your product, it is time to show it all in a gadget listing.
You might think that means posting an image and several descriptive words.
Though you are not going to get off that easy.
You will have to have pictures that pop out on the mobile shoppers and also utilize phrases that enhance your listing to the pinnacle of the research results quicker than you can say Amazon FBA!
Step 3: Supplier Selection + Inventory Management
After selecting your product, the following item on your to-do list is deciphering what supplier you want to place an order from.
As you’re making that choice, you should take into account whether you will wish to ship from overseas and out of your own country. This decision essentially boils down to determining whether you would like to save time by delivering nationally or spend less money by obtaining your product from China.
Step 4: Order Processing + Returns
You like paperwork, right? Super easy, isn’t it?
But that is what this next phase comes down to.
Every order needs to be tracked and established and have a tracking number.
Plus, if your client asks for a refund, it’s in your reputation’s most compelling interest as a seller if you provide them with their money back.
Step 5: Order Tracking (Shipped, Delivered, Etc.)
What in case your client claims they don’t receive their product? How can you determine what happened?
That is perfect.
This is exactly where almost all of that work you place into that dreaded document pays off.
Those tracking numbers are incredibly significant.
Plus, as you develop your business, you will have to track thousands of products going and coming—a lot of specifics.
Step 6: Customer Service + Collect Customer Reviews
We have all done it.
You are attempting to resolve between 2 products that are different or even two individual businesses, plus you spring for the one with the excellent reviews.
It’s not a question that reviews are crucial to the good results of a business.
So how could you motivate your customers to leave reviews?
You must frequently create a review funnel with either a contact follow-up program or a product information card loaded on your product’s upper part.
Amazon’s TOS is particular about the way you request the assessment as well, so try and tread carefully.
Yeah, that sounds like an absurd policy, and if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to become a dropshipper (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $50,000+ per month teaches some of the dropshipping skills but shows you how to monetize them in a much, MUCH more profitable way.
Step 7: Scaling Your Amazon Store
This final output is the stage you want the store to be at when you eventually see a return on the investment.
What Are Valiant Consultants Customer Reviews?
This is where it gets interesting. I always like to check out what kind of feedback can be found online. For Mayer’s program, I found A LOT. And as you’ll see, Valiant Consultants’ Amazon service reviews are quite…colorful.
1. Valiant Consultants On Reddit
2. Social Media Reviews
3. YouTube Reviews
Valiant Consultants reviews happen to be all over at this point. Still, Beau Crabill (famous and reliable in the Amazon business community) indeed goes as far as to suggest it’s a total fraud.
Certainly not a great look.
4. Valiant Consultants BBB Profile Rating And Most Recent Review
What is unusual is that Valiant Consultants used to be BBB Accredited not too long ago, but that web page is now long gone, and this’s the one that today shows up on the site for the company. You ask yourself whether Valiant Consultants went out of business. I wonder if this is the reason.
The statistics on this page aren’t an excellent hint. Low customer review rating as well as an F from the BBB. But occasionally, the rating itself does not see the entire story. Therefore it’s better to look at consumer feedback to discover if some legitimate points are raised.
Talk about a complete nightmare. As previously mentioned, Mayer’s system does not come cheap. Anyone thinking about it who will come across feedback this way would most likely run for the hills.
And I wouldn’t blame them.
Sadly, you will notice a lot more negative Valiant Consultants Amazon automation reviews in case of reading is kept by you, one after another.
But, when it comes to building an online business, you have plenty of options.
And even if you’re dead set on becoming a dropshipper, you’ve got way better options than Valiant Consultants.
Keep in mind, I don’t get paid to promote any of the programs I review. I personally think Amazon FBA is a lackluster business model, where you end up leaving way too much money on the table.
What Is Amazon FBA Wholesale?
Selling on Amazon generally entails buying bulk products from the producer or the product provider at a lower price, then offering them to be a reseller on Amazon for list prices.
This design enables you to offer products from established brands with present demand.
FBA platform by Amazon is the most powerful method to promote physical products online. Selling and finding Wholesale products and marketing to customers with the products they desire and need.
What Is Amazon Automation?
AMZ automation isn’t a scam but rather a service where you pay a group of industry experts to manage your Amazon store…
There are no later hidden fees in the system, and the entire process is very transparent. But, of course, what you drive depends on your chosen package.
This Is How Valiant Consultants Works:
- Setup: Follow their over-the-shoulder videos on properly setting up your shop.
- Give our team access: Once set up, they show you how to give their team access to your account to manage safely.
- Grow: Once you have access, let the Valiant team grow your shop!
How Much Does Valiant’s Amazon Automation Service Cost?
The typical cost for the Valiant Consultants DFY Amazon Service costs $30,000.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $50,000+ per month teaches some of the dropshipping skills, but shows you how to monetize them in a much, MUCH more profitable way.
When looking at Steve Mayers’ Valiant Consultants, he has a fair (and growing) number of reviews that declare his services are much less than honest.
I can’t dismiss such negative comments, so regrettably, there’s no way I can recommend this to anyone searching for a DFY Amazon FBA remedy.
But in case you have acquired the $ 25k… yeah, still a no, sorry. I’ll continue to try and motivate you to invest money elsewhere.
I’ve also heard several rumors about a Valiant Consultants class action lawsuit, so sadly, there’s not one thing I can suggest to you guys.
Are There Alternatives To Valiant Consultants?
Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:
Is Valiant Consultants A Scam?
So, time for the question you’ve been waiting for: is Valiant Consultants a scam?
No, not technically speaking. They aren’t going to take your money and ride off into the sunset without delivering you access to their course.
It’s 100% possible to make money with this program, but it’s not nearly as simple as Steve Mayer wants you to think it is.
There is A LOT of upfront work to do, and no guarantee of success.
Don’t get me wrong – I’m all for doing hard work now so that I can collect checks in the future.
But if I’m going to spend 3 months of my life working super hard & spending thousands of dollars, just to break even… it’s just not worth it (in my opinion).
Think about it: what if you worked that same 3 months with just an hour or two per day, and in return you could collect a $500-$2,000 check that continues to come in every month?
Even better, what if you could actually get that first check in as little as a week?
And what if you could double or triple it over the next month or two?
That’s what you get when you rent digital properties as a Digital Landlord.
All you really need is a laptop and some internet.
Some of my friends are Digital Landlords that run their 6-figure businesses from:
- Camping trips at national parks
- Beachfront in Hawaii
- On the road in a camper van (with a pet pig!)
They focus on living an enjoyable life first, and focus on income second. All thanks to this program.
They can take weeks or months off, and money keeps rolling in.
Living happily is the top priority.
If the thought of living perpetually at your dream vacation spot interests you, being a Digital Landlord might be for you!
What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2022?
I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:
- I’ve drop-shipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
- I’ve drop-shipped jade rollers via Clickfunnels
- I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
- I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing
And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.
That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: being a Digital Landlord.
Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, becoming a Digital Landlord is for you.
1)Time: If you’ve got a spare hour or two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all-in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.
And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring.
That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world.
But you can only do that once you’ve created an income stream that doesn’t require YOU to be there all day, every day.
2) Ownership & Control: With dropshipping, you don’t actually own anything. You can’t control your product quality, or even what the package looks like when it shows up.
Technically you own your Shopify site… but ad platforms could shut you down at a moment’s notice… so you don’t really have much control there.
Why pour your soul into a business that could be taken away from you at the drop of a dime?
When you’re a Digital Landlord, you literally own all of the assets, which means you have ultimate control.
3) Fulfillment: Alright, so you don’t have any inventory… but that worry has been replaced with the pains of overseas fulfillment.
That means your customer is going to have to wait 3-4 weeks to receive their order.
Then add in the current global supply chain woes… and you’re looking at 5-6-7 weeks!
Then the customer slaps you with a refund, and all of that time spent testing and spending money on ads was for nothing.
You don’t have to worry about any of that when you’re renting out digital properties.
4) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…
If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you would need to sell twice as much inventory, or double your profit margins. And I can guarantee you (from my Shopify dropshipping days) that it’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.
5) Big Margins: With dropshipping, you will often have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money. This usually entails spending A LOT of money on ads and other methods for growing traffic to your product.
Being a Digital Landlord, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.
Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.
Best-case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.
6) You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with dropshipping is that you’re usually finding some product that’s complete garbage and are tricking people into buying it. It provides no real value to them or the world in general.
It’s cool to make a quick buck in the short term, but in the long term, it gets really old fast.
But when you’re a Digital Landlord, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with.
Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.
You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.
Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.
So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other dropshipping programs like Valiant Consultants, which might make you money 12 months from now.
You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.
OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.
