Alright – so some of you are the skimming type and just want to know if you should buy the modern millionaires program or not; so let’s address that now.
As we’ll explain later on in this article: we love the lead generation business model, especially for local businesses.
That being said, we don’t recommend you join modern millionaires.
Abdul and Chance may have their own successful business running their paid ad agency, but that does not mean they’re good teachers.
For example, someone might be a talented guitarist that can play the most beautiful songs, but when they try to explain how to play to a beginner, their words are lost.
So I don’t mean to say that they were out to scam you when they created modern millionaires.
What I’m saying is that there are other programs that also teach you how to generate leads for local business owners that have better mentorship (in my opinion), and teach you more than just how to leverage Google ads.

Who Actually Benefits From The Modern Millionaires Course From Chance And Abdul?
As I’ve said a few times, I’m all for local lead generation as a means of building semi-passive income.
It’s a legitimate way to make money online, and it’s the basis of the modern millionaires business model.
That begs the question then – who is it for, and who is it not for?
What’s what I hope to make clear in this section.
If you fit into any of the following, it might be a good fit for you:
- You are already a successful and established entrepreneur with an SEO business. You may have more ability to hire an experienced paid ads professional, and use their training as guide posts
- You’ve got many tens of thousands of dollars to play with in establishing an online business, and are OK losing a bit until you build your passive income stream
That being said, if any of these resonate with you, you might want to avoid the modern millionaires program altogether:
- If you’re a beginner: it looks like this Trust Pilot reviewer claims to have lost their first few clients because of issues with their program and coaches
- If you want mentorship: it looks like this Trust Pilot reviewer left a modern millionaires review claiming that their mentor completely ghosted them after joining

In this section, I’d like to give you a birds-eye view of what this program is really all about.
Business Model – An Online Business Helping Local Businesses Thrive?
The specific type of online business that Chance and Abdul are teaching you is known as lead generation for local businesses, AKA “local lead gen”.
It fits into the broader category of “digital marketing”, and is sometimes called having an ad agency that focuses on generating leads.
Whichever way you choose to slice it, Abdul and Chance are teaching you some ways to start making money online by running ads.
They teach a specific variant of local lead gen business, which is one focusing on Google Ads and Facebook Ads (together known as Paid Ads).
The major criticism we have here is that there are other paid ad agency programs like this one that also teach you SEO and website development.
That’s important because your clients will eventually need those services done, and if you can’t provide them, then they might fire you and partner with someone that can.
About The Gurus – Chance And Abdul
Chance And Abdul came up through another local lead generation program called job killing.
In fact, many of the original modern millionaires students that you see in their testimonials and what not did not even spend money on the program, and were instead gifted it as part of the job killing program.
Now, that doesn’t mean that Abdul and Chance are unable to teach you how to land paid ad clients and generate leads, it just shows you that they’re applying skills from another digital marketing course (job killing) to make their agency clients successful.
Kind of weird that they’d do it for their own clients, but they won’t teach it to you.
Main Promises & Claims Of The Modern Millionaires Course
The big promise of the Modern Millionaires is that they will “help you build a recession-proof residual income business in 90 days with a new software app”.
The main idea or claim here is that the only thing local businesses need more than lead generation services, is help converting those leads into customers.
Makes sense on the surface, but here’s the thing: this “new software app” thing is just a marketing angle to make it look not like you’re running a paid ads agency.
To me, that indicates they’re struggling to get successful students through their primary agency training, and are now trying to tell you that all you need to do is sell their software.
According to this ex-student of theirs, it’s a lot harder than it seems, and the software is actually broken at time of writing.
They’ve branded this as the “MM SaaS”, so we’ll have a review coming for that soon.
What Is The Modern Millionaires Cost, And Is There A Subscription Fee?
To be honest, there are a ton of different conflicting information out there, and I think that’s because they have a bunch of different packages they offer, from Do-It-Yourself, To Done-With-You, to Done-For-You.
According to the internet, they’re actually shutting down the Done-For-You version since they couldn’t properly fulfill on it (AKA took a bunch of peoples money)
So that being said, the program is going to set you back anywhere from $8,000 to $20,000.
For what it’s worth, that’s not actually a bad investment for a program that actually works.
What we’re calling into question is: does it actually work?
Is The Modern Millionaires Legit?
Time for the $1,000,000 question: is Modern Millionaires a scam?
No, not technically. They aren’t going to take your money and run off. It’s actually a decent program.
It’s just not my top choice.
The Digital Rental Method program is unique. They give you over 30 proven templates (ad copy, targeting, keywords, exact landing pages, etc) so that you can hit the ground running on Facebook, Google, Youtube, Snapchat, Pinterest, & more.
Outside of the ad training, they teach a whole bunch of skills: their proven sales process, building high-converting landing pages, email & text marketing, and a lot more.
Plus, they teach you SEO and Website Development, which the Modern Millionaires program does not.
The people that run the program actually have an agency that does 7-figures per year, which is a major advantage over most other ad agency courses.
What if you could put in a few hours of work each day (whenever you feel like it), and you were rewarded with a recurring $500-$2,000 payment for each site you put up?
And what if it only took you a week or two to get that first payment?
And what if you could double or triple that payment over the following month or two?
That’s what you get when using the Digital Rental Method.
All you really need is a laptop and some internet.
Some of my friends are Digital Rental Method that run their 6-figure businesses from:
- Camping trips at national parks
- Beachfront in Hawaii
- On the road in a camper-van (with a pet pig!)
They focus on living an enjoyable life first, and focus on income second. All thanks to this program.
They can take weeks or months off, and money keeps rolling in.
Living happily is the top priority.
If the thought of living perpetually at your dream vacation spot interests you, using the Digital Rental Method might be for you!
Differences From Other Programs
There’s a few big differences between the Modern Millionaires course and other’s in the same category.
First, they only teach one method of local lead generation – running paid ads. For the amount of money they charge, you could learn paid ads plus even more.
Second, they use third party financing companies. That means Chance and Abdul sell you a $10,000 program and try to get you on a cheap payment plan that you’re locked into for (potentially) years to come.
Third, from what we’ve read online there are a lot of complaints about the quality of support & community they offer in their private Facebook group. Making money online can be hard, so having a super active community is important.
Our Opinion On The Modern Millionaires Course
If you’ve been a reader here for long, you know that I have real-world experience in these sorts of ad agency programs (and I’ve actually made money with them).
So my advice & opinions here are based on that experience, and my having seen the Modern Millionaires course personally.
The first thing I’d like to make clear is that any time you’re researching reviews for passive income businesses or other digital marketing businesses, you’re going to find a loud crowd of negative reviews.
You see this in places like Reddit, Trustpilot, the BBB, in comments on ads, etc.
The reason for that is pretty simple: people with a bad experience are usually the ones that are going to leave a review. And just because someone has a bad experience, doesn’t mean the person selling you the course is a scammer.
So that being said, if you can’t really trust all those reviews out there, how can you decide? Here’s how I think through how to choose a lead generation program like the modern millionaires (or any other business models for that matter):
- The real world experience of the guru – do Chance and Abdul have real experience running a lead generation business?
- The availability of a private Facebook group or other coaching – running a business isn’t all flowers and butterflies all the time, having people to lean on in tough times is key.
- The value of the videos, assets, templates, and bonuses that you’re given access to – it’s not just about the price of the program, it’s how much you get for the price.
- The honesty of those running the program with respect to ongoing costs, upsells, and more – you should know that what you’re getting is great, and that you don’t need to buy more stuff in order to be successful.
- Last but not least, take into consideration the financial success of those inside their private Facebook community – see what the public is saying, but look at it through the lens I described earlier.
My Recommendation On This Modern Millionaires Review
If we just laid out how we evaluate a program like the modern millionaires course, then let’s apply our own criteria to the modern millionaires specifically.
First, the positives:
If you really put your head down and work hard to land your first few paid ad clients, you’ll at the very least probably make your money back.
While landing your first client with their system doesn’t seem overly easy, it’s at least possible.
Chance and Abdul have actually run this business themselves, so the experience of the guru is a positive.
If they were offering this training as a FREE means to generate passive income, I’d say “go check it out, sure”, but when we’re talking about nearly $10,000 – it’s a slightly different story.
Chance And Abdul seem like two well-intended guys just trying to get by in the world of digital marketing, and I can’t fault them for that.
Now, the negatives:
These are the top three reasons that I would not recommend the modern millionaires program to most people, based mostly on publicly sourced feedback:
- Based on what we’ve seen on Trustpilot and Reddit, some users have had a very bad experience getting mentorship from the community. This is a huge red flag for us, because the value of a $10,000 product is mostly the community. The lead generation tactics could be pieced together from Youtube videos – it’s about having a community to fall back on that is the real value in a program.
- Having seen the training for myself, I have to be 100% honest in saying it did not impress me. The videos were way, way too theory based for my liking. I actually had a hard time believing someone would be able to watch the videos and be successful. That being said, I’ve experienced some of the best ads trainings in the world, so maybe the bar was just set too high
- This woman from the BBB claims she made no money whatsoever and had to consider declaring bankruptcy. She also claims there were additional subscriptions required on top of the $12,000 purchase she made. I can’t simply can’t endorse a program that treats their students that way.
What’s Inside – The Modern Millionaires Course Content
There are four primary modules in the Modern Millionaires training course, one of which has multiple sub-modules.
Let’s hop through and show you what each of these modules actually contains.
Module 1: The Foundation
The foundation section doesn’t really teach you anything about the details of your lead generation business. It’s just about setting up your actual business.
They’re going to talk about selecting your niche, creating your website, setting up your own limited liability company (LLC) – things like that.
They’ve got some mindset training in there, too.
The mindset stuff always seems fluffy at first, but oddly it’s the mindset that will determine if you succeed or not, so I’m glad they have it in there.
Module 2: Prospecting And Sales
In Module 2, we start getting into sales and prospecting. The whole point of this section is to help you land your first client and take your first step toward becoming a “modern millionaire”.
They explain high level concepts about sales and prospecting, what type of tools you’ll need to run your sales machine; things like that.
This is an important section because the success of your business really depends on your ability to sell, not necessarily your paid traffic mastery.
They show you how cold emailing works, which is a valuable tool if you’re going to run your own agency. Other courses skip out on this, so it’s nice to see included.
They go through LinkedIn, accepting payments from clients, and some tips on closing deals.
We wish they’d have gone deeper into this topic because it’s critical to your success in dealing with potential clients. Other courses we’ve been through go into extreme depth here, so it’s definitely a shortcoming of the modern millionaires program.
If you don’t already have those sales skills, you won’t find much help in the Modern Millionaires course (you’ll have to just do it yourself).
Module 3A: Driving Traffic With Google Ads
This is probably the biggest and meatiest part of the training, and for good reason! Knowing how to run Google Ads successfully is going to be critical to your paid advertising business, so you’d better be a pro at it.
We found that it was a little hard to follow and too much theory based for our liking, but some people like that.
If you were hoping for a decent dive into Google ads and even Google Analytics, you won’t be disappointed.
Module 3B: Driving Traffic (FB Ads)
Compared with the Google Ads section, the Facebook Ads section feels like a bit of an afterthought.
Kind of a shame given how key it is to running digital businesses successfully.
Module 3C:
The third part of Module 3 ties the previous two together in a neat bow. Here is where you’ll figure out how to use what you’ve learned to develop your leads – and hopefully turn them into paying customers.
Module 4: Auto-Pilot

This final module covers various automated platforms you can use to help make your business successful and scale when you’re ready.
I’m talking about things like hiring and training new employees.
Usually similar courses will advocate for doing everything by yourself in the beginning, Modern Millionaires tells you to start with automation from the get-go to make your profits increase exponentially.
The Final Say: Buy or Not – Concluding Our Modern Millionaires Review
Our final recommendation is: no buy.
Between the lack of mentorship outlined in Trustpilot and Reddit, the training material not teaching very important skills like SEO and website development, and the program leaders nearly bankrupting their students, we can’t recommend this program at this time.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?
I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:
- I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
- I’ve drop-shipped a toilet-bowl putting green on Shopify

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.
