You may be wondering about some ads you may have seen from Jeff Baxter’s Agency Master Academy.

It must have caught your attention since you’re researching to find out more about it.

This review will answer all the questions you’ve got spinning in your head, like cost and legitimacy.

Agency Master Academy is a course that teaches you how to build your own advertising agency. The core idea here is that they’ll teach you how to not only run the ads themselves but also how to (hopefully) build a successful business with it.

In my opinion, ad agencies are one of the best business models out there, and to be honest – they will always be needed (more on that later).

While Agency Master Academy has its merits, it’s NOT my top recommendation if you’re interested in running your own ad agency.

My top program in the ad agency category will be Josh Osborne & Sean Kochel’s Digital Rental Method program.

Here’s the thing:

There’s a good and bad way to run an advertising agency.

The bad way involves only knowing how to run ads.

It may seem counterintuitive but stay with me for a minute.

The least important part of running an ad agency is knowing how to run ads on platforms like Facebook and Google.

It’s what goes on behind the scenes that make a 6-or-7-figure agency.

Any monkey could take some random “template” that some guru gave them and plug it into Facebook or Google – that will not make you a 7 figure earner.

Why?

Because after a while, the market gets overwhelmed with the same message, and it stops working.

If you don’t have a system for thinking about how to run ads properly, you won’t be able to pivot.

So what’s the good way to run an ad agency, then?

The things that really separate a 6 or 7-figure agency from one that fails after a few months are:

  1. Having a proven sales process
  2. Knowing how to convert users that land on your client’s website

Let me explain why:

#1 – Most ad gurus out there have never run a 7-figure agency, so how could they possibly teach you a sales process that’s going to actually work? Nothing else matters if you don’t have this nailed down because you won’t have anyone to run ads for!

#2 – Getting clicks on an ad is easy… getting them to actually go on and buy something from you is the hard part. If you don’t know about conversion rate optimization, landing page design, & email/text marketing, your ability to copy-paste some random ad won’t matter.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I recommend this ad agency program, because it helps my boyfriend and I personally make over $20,000/mo on autopilot.

The cool part is that it shows you pretty much exactly what to do to create a recurring revenue stream, that can bring you in anywhere from a few thousand, to $10,000+ per month.

I like how you can build it with only an hour or two each day, and you can grow it as big (or small) as you want.

The people that run it have an actual 7-figure marketing agency, so you know their systems work.

The show’s creator, Jeff Baxter, showcases advertising strategies for local firms and professionals.

Suppose you want to work with corporations and professionals. In that case, the Agency Master Academy can help you develop the necessary abilities and show you how to attract them as clients.

Jeff started his online search in 2008. Jeff began working as an affiliate marketer after finishing high school, making sales for other people’s websites in return for a commission.

For most people, quitting their job would be sufficient.

On the other hand, Jeff quickly saw that the affiliates were not the biggest winners. It was up to the manufacturers this time.

“You will get all you desire in life if you help enough other people achieve their dreams,” Zig Ziglar once said, so Jeff became a product designer.

He began by offering free webinars on entrepreneurship to sell consultancy packages. He eventually made enough money from those webinars to pay for advertising and grow the firm.

Jeff shows you precisely what he does in his free training and how it works. He simply breaks it down into two simple steps if you haven’t seen it.

Step 1 – Prospect

  • Use the Facebook Ads Library to find local businesses that aren’t advertising.
  • Use the prospecting templates provided by Agency Master Academy to land new clients (local businesses without active advertising campaigns).

Step 2 – Land Clients And Setup Facebook Ad Campaign

  • You can arrange a retainer charge.
  • Organize the ad spending for your client.
  • Target their ideal customer (age, gender, zip code, etc.) with their marketing campaigns
  • Create and run advertisements

As an agency owner, you must ensure your clients are satisfied and keep the advertising running to keep the phones ringing.

How much you charge each client is entirely up to you. Aim for a charge between $1,000 and $5,000 when starting out. You can charge more for new clients if you have more expertise, confidence, and a track record to justify your fee increase.

If you’re evaluating a client’s ability to pay for your services, don’t forget that they are also paying for their advertising. As a result, their advertising account is linked directly to their credit card.

Coaching Calls And Hands-On Support

Jeff and his certified success coaches presently offer two weekly live coaching calls. The online programs with live coaching calls (or chats) are the most helpful to me (not just for internet business).

They allow you to ask questions and get key insights outside the formal curriculum.

Ongoing updates keep you informed of industry and strategic developments.

Agency Master Academy Cost

The cost of Agency Master Academy has also not been made public.

A variety of reasons could be at play here.

First, Jeff might be experimenting with price because Agency Master Academy is new. The cost may change in response to additional materials, extras, or support options.

Because onboarding is done over the phone, it might also be less expensive. On the other hand, large price differences could be caused by a student’s capacity to pay.

So, if they said $3,000 and you paid $3,000, you’d feel misled if I said I paid $1,500… however, the pricing was fair.

That being said, they don’t announce a price mainly to minimize sticker shock.

This may scare customers away before they understand your circumstances and explain what they provide. Agency Master Academy is more than a course.

Jeff says they only work with ten students at a time. I doubt it’s flexible, but surely AMA won’t be $47 with personal coaching and exclusivity. The full version of AMA with optional fees should be in the four-figure range.

Additional Costs

ScheduleOnce and Zapier are also recommended.

ScheduleOnce has a free service but an enhanced plan with greater support, while-label branding and integrations costs $10/month.

Zapier is a task automation platform with a limited free plan. Paid plans start at $19.99 monthly for more options (and automation).

One such service is Social Owl, which allows you to easily set up social media profiles, create and post material, and add client advertising, shopping carts, etc.

Agency Master Academy demands commitment. It’s not a single-use download that costs less than $100. (I have a ton of those on my computer; you might as well.)

This industry demands authenticity. You work with clients who pay you in the thousands of dollars.

And it requires hard work to attract those clients.

Conversion rates are low even with good training and templates. Compared to completing it alone (without Agency Master Academy), but still low.

That is, you shouldn’t be scared of rejection; it’s all numbers.

You should also have money and not be in a hurry. This is definitely not suitable for those that need AMA to pay rent this month.

You may start a business quickly, but getting clients takes time. Your clients pay providers in 30, 60, or even 90 days.

This is a fantastic business model. It’s cheaper than most traditional enterprises and has no actual products to deal with.

“The Agency Master Academy’s products and services are not scams,” according to over a dozen entrepreneurs and credible sources.

Time for the $1,000,000 question: is Agency Master Academy a scam?

No, not technically. They aren’t going to take your money and run off. It’s actually a decent program.

It’s just not my top choice.

The Digital Rental Method program is unique. They give you over 30 proven templates (ad copy, targeting, keywords, exact landing pages, etc.) so that you can hit the ground running on Facebook, Google, Youtube, Snapchat, Pinterest, & more.

Outside of the ad training, they teach a whole bunch of skills: their proven sales process, building high-converting landing pages, email & text marketing, and a lot more.

The people running the program have an agency that does 7-figures per year, which is a major advantage over most other ad agency courses.

What if you could put in a few hours of work each day (whenever you feel like it), and you were rewarded with a recurring $500-$2,000 payment for each site you put up?
