It is a massive affiliate network with more than 800,000 active affiliates and was founded in 1998 by Mayuresh Kshetramade, an Indian businessman.
CJ Affiliate offers you more than 3,000 merchants and is part of Alliance Data Systems, a Fortune 500 company. It also has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Joining the Commission Junction affiliate program is completely free. However, to join as a merchant, you must be at least 18 years old and have your website.
Amazon Associates
No affiliate network can compete with Amazon Associates’ huge amount of physical and digital items by providing the full Amazon catalog. Furthermore, Amazon’s conversion rates are exceptionally high.
However, affiliate links in emails are against Amazon’s business policy, so keep this in mind if email marketing is your major technique for advertising affiliate items.
Amazon Associates was founded in 1996 and is managed by Andrew R. Jassy, an American businessman.
Amazon’s vast e-commerce capabilities, valued at over $1 trillion and with over 90 million paying Prime customers in the United States, aren’t going away anytime soon.
Amazon has a B+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. And, since Amazon is a well-known brand, its items often rank high in Google search engine results.
There’s no application cost in Amazon Associates. There’s also no minimum referral requirement or quota to meet before receiving referral earnings via their program.
eBay Partner Network (EPN)
One feature that distinguishes EPN from other affiliate networks is the ability to advertise unique offers.
eBay Partner Network is a terrific alternative if you want peace of mind from conducting online business with a huge corporation you’re already acquainted with.
It was founded in 2008 and had 1.1 billion listings. eBay’s current CEO is Jamie Iannone.
eBay manages its own affiliate network, so they provide partners with the tools, reports, and resources they need to succeed.
EPN has 175 million buyers purchasing over $23 billion of merchandise each year.
Joining eBay Partner Network is completely free. You just have to go to its page and create an account.
FlexOffers
FlexOffers is a strong choice if you want a variety of affiliate possibilities, fantastic support, and a speedy payment turnaround.
It’s great for beginners and experienced affiliate marketers because when you join, you are allocated a dedicated affiliate manager who will assist you in navigating the affiliate marketing deep blue sea.
FlexOffers is a relatively new affiliate program founded in 2008 by Alexander Daskaloff and has 12,000+ merchants in 25+ categories across 27 countries and claims to have hundreds of new merchants weekly

Pepperjam has fewer options than its competitors as it only has 1,500 merchants. Why? According to Pepperjam, they only deal with businesses that they like.

So, time for the $1,000,000 question – are Affiliate Networks a scam?
No, it’s not a “scam,” technically speaking. They aren’t going to collect your payment and then ride off into the sunset without delivering you a program.
You can make money with this program. My only gripe is that making money with affiliate marketing is NOT NEARLY as easy as Affiliate Networks want you to think it is.
As I’ve said earlier, the most important part of doing affiliate marketing right is driving traffic. That means being good at:
- Writing ads that sell
- Running ads on Google
- Running ads on Facebook
- Writing website blogs
- Ranking websites
- Converting users that land on your site
- Email marketing
And a whole lot more.
If you’re going to spend time learning those skills, why not do it in a way that makes YOU all the money – instead of someone else?
There’s just a lot of work to be done here, and no real guarantee of success (not to mention commissions can be small).
Don’t get me wrong – I’m ALL FOR doing the hard work now, so you can reap the benefits later.
But if you’re going to hit something super hard for 3-6 months, and your reward is barely enough money for a tank of gas… it’s just not worth it (in my opinion).
Again, I’m not saying it won’t work – I’ve personally made money with it, as have many of my friends.
I’m just saying it’s a situation where the stars need to kind of align for you in a perfect way.
And you shouldn’t be in the business of leaving your fate up to the stars…
