A Chinese entrepreneur named Hui Chen founded the multi-level marketing business Alphay and brought it to the United States.
Today, I’m going to say everything I know about the company.
Pull up a chair, get some popcorn, make yourself comfortable, and ensure you read the whole way through!
I will define two terms before I move forward in this Alphay MLM review: MLM and pyramid scheme.
The main method of making money for MLM members is to sell products and recruit new members. The only way members could earn money in pyramid schemes is through recruitment.
By law, pyramid schemes are illegal and forbidden by the FTC.
So, I’m going to see how Alphay stacks up to other MLM companies out there.
I’ll talk about whether network marketing is the right online business model for you.
MLMs like Alphay are a bit of a mixed bag. They CAN be a legitimate way to make money, but some have a reputation for literally ruining people’s lives – so it’s important to know what you’re getting, since each one is unique.
Like most of my readers, you were probably introduced to this one via a friend or some influencer you trust online.
And it makes sense why so many people recommend them:
Making money outside of a 9-5 can be… life-changing, to say the least.
So in this article, I want to help you explore two things:
- If MLMs are actually a worthwhile business to pursue
- If Alphay is a worthwhile MLM
Before that, I want to clear the air on something.
There are A LOT of people out there who bash all MLMs in any form. However, I’m not one of those people.
Instead, I want to genuinely educate you about them so you can make an informed decision on how to proceed.
If you’re unfamiliar with what MLMs actually do:
They’re businesses in which you pay money to a company for the ability to sell their products.
Sometimes the products are actually kind of decent (I still remember my mom throwing Pampered Chef parties when I was younger).
Other times the products are really poorly made and come with a high price tag.
Typically, the only way to really make money is to get people (mostly friends & family) to sign up with you for a recurring subscription.
If the product is 100% legitimate & valuable, it’s entirely possible to get people to sign-up and continue paying you.
If the product is subpar, you’ll usually burn those bridges kinda quickly and end up with $0 coming in each month.
The biggest issue I’ve seen is that this puts significant stress on your personal relationships, as you’re reliant on selling to your “network.”
Think about it: if you KNEW that every time your friend Sally called, she’d be trying to sell you on one of her products… you’d eventually stop answering Sally’s calls.
Now, this doesn’t mean MLMs are outright bad… it means you need to know what type of MLM you’re getting yourself into before you sign up.
Again, some MLMs provide real value to people, but MOST don’t – so in this article, I’m going to explore what the case is with Alphay.
But before that, I want to ask you a question: what if there was a way to build actual recurring, semi-passive income?
Income that:
- Doesn’t have inventory
- Doesn’t make you sell to your friends & family
- Doesn’t force you to recruit people onto your “team”
Something that you could make anywhere from $2,000 – $10,000 consistently, month after month?
A stream of income that you can build as high (or low) as you feel like building it?

What Is Alphay?
Alphay is a multi-level marketing company that offers health products. Alphay is the top company in the world when it comes to Lingzhi mushroom research, production, and supply.
The Cordyceps mushroom is one of the primary components of Alphay.
Over the past 50 years, scientists and growers of the Lingzhi mushroom have developed pharmaceutical and cosmetic products that combine traditional Chinese medicine and contemporary nutritional research.
Alphay is currently headquartered in Canada.
Another main ingredient of Alphay is the organic lion’s mane, a type of mushroom.

- Advanced Cellular Support
- Natural Health Product
- Cafe Blends
- Lifestyle Products
- Product Combos
Alphay International Cost To Join
Membership at the basic level costs $35. Your $35 investment gets you the following:
- A website
- Training
- An online office
There are two different starter packs available. You can make 5% commissions with the Builder Pack and 15% with the Executive Pack.
There will be a $1.95 commission activation fee and a $1.50 processing fee for pre-deposit commissions. You will also need a minimum of $10.00 in commissions for a payout.
You may also sign up for automatic shipment, where you’ll automatically get shipments of products to sell each month.
How To Make Money From Alphay
As Alphay is an MLM company, you can earn money from two sources. These are through:
- Product sales
- Members recruitment
Alphay also provides its members with bonuses and other benefits. However, it’s not as simple as it sounds to qualify for those. To achieve this goal, you must work hard and be committed.
You can only get these advantages if your downline is active. Although Alphay makes everything seem simpler than it actually is, I can guarantee you that it’s not. This is where recruiting comes into play. It may appear that recruiting is simple, but this is not the case.
Multilevel marketing promotes passive income like this… In addition to earning commissions from your downline’s sales, you will earn commissions from their downlines as well.
You will need to keep recruiting people and make sure they purchase products if you want a sustainable income. Your income goes up as you bring more people to Alphay.
Due to the fact that the MLM business model is not sustainable, after a while, you will not be able to recruit as many people.
Your sales volume is not that important to MLMs. They are more interested in how many people you can sign up to become members.
How Much Money Can You Make?
Alphay does not disclose an income disclosure statement, so I don’t know how much members actually make. But I wouldn’t be surprised if members make very little or no money, which could be why they don’t publish an income disclosure.
Doesn’t it make sense that a business needs to maintain its transparency to maintain its credibility?
As a result, it looks like the business is hiding something and preventing potential recruits from joining.
Alphay Compensation Plan
With Alphay, you can get paid by the following:
- Retail Profits: You earn these commissions by selling Alphay products.
- Direct First Order Bonus: Each starter kit you sell can earn you 15% commissions.
- Placement Team Commission: A Level 1 sponsored downline member is required to qualify for this.
- Unilevel Monthly Commissions: In order to qualify, you must have a Silver rank or higher.
- Unilevel Matching Bonus: This incentive is given for growing your downline. However, you must be at least a Silver rank to be eligible.
- Generation Bonus: This bonus will be given to you if you are able to help your downline members get to the Key Master rank.
- Rank Achievement Bonus: Once you reach Emerald rank, you become eligible for this bonus.
Can You Really Make Money With Alphay International?
Yes, you can!
Alphay’s products offer a number of ways to make money, such as purchasing products at distributor price and re-sell them at retail price. You decide the difference between a distributor and retail prices.
But…
There’s a lot that comes along with Network Marketing (MLM) that many people struggle with.

Now, don’t get me wrong…
You can certainly make money with Alphay, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.
Pros
Low Commission Requirement
Unlike most MLMs, Alphay requires you only to do 50 PQVs per month to remain active to earn commissions.
Low Membership Fee
It costs just $35 to join Alphay, unlike other MLMs, which require you to pay hundreds up front. Eventually, you will be required to purchase a starter kit, which is $249 or more.
First Order Bonus
Alphay provides a 15% bonus on new referral orders so that you can earn additional income here.
Cons
Most people don’t really spend money on things they don’t need. Hence, buying alternatives to popular products is something people are always on the lookout for.
The problem with Alphay is that many competitors sell the same product at a lower price. In addition, their competitors do not engage in multilevel marketing. There is a negative reputation for MLMs that makes some people hesitant to support them.
Honestly, I’m not quite sure what’s going on here. What’s the point of overpricing products when you know you are driving away potential customers?
Quite simple – their membership is their customer base. The reason for setting quotas and forcing them to buy products for ‘personal use’ is this.
Lack Of Information
This is one point I’d like to clarify. Even on Alphay’s own website, I couldn’t find any instructions on how to become a member. Isn’t that something that MLM companies should advertise?
It looks like you can only get access to Alphay by directly contacting them on their support page.
Very Niche Market
People don’t seem interested in trying out something they haven’t heard of before. It’s likely to appeal to people with extra money lying around to spend it on whatever they want.
As soon as they lose that curiosity, they are less likely to make repeat purchases. A business like this, which is unsustainable, cannot afford that.
Products Are Not FDA-Approved
That’s right, you read it correctly. Alphay products do not have FDA approval. There’s no doubt that factor will impact your sales. If you cannot tell your potential customers if your products are FDA-approved, they will naturally question the effectiveness of those products.
Buying products requires research on the part of the consumer. It has become so easy to look up facts on a smartphone now that everyone has internet access.
Products that are not FDA-approved are likely to have side effects ranging from mild to severe. Surely, you don’t want to deal with any lawsuits.
Saturated Market
If you want to join Alphay, you also have to overcome this obstacle, other than the fact that it is not FDA-approved. Many companies sell health products that can be purchased at drugstores, malls, and other places.
Due to the lack of distinction, the company is easily forgotten, and people will definitely choose brands they are familiar with.
It’s An MLM
As an MLM, there have been a great number of failures in this venture. A whopping 99% of people who join MLMs do not make any money and don’t even earn back their investments.
Are There Alternatives To Alphay?
Yes, there are plenty of MLM companies to choose from if you want to pursue this business model. Here are just a few:
Is Alphay A Scam Or A Pyramid Scheme?
So, time for the $1,000,000 question: is Alphay MLM a scam?
No, not technically. They aren’t going to run off with your money and not give you what you paid for. It’s 100% possible to make money with this program.
That being said, it’s not nearly as simple as they want you to think it is.
There’s A LOT of work to be done upfront, and no guarantee that you’ll be successful. The commissions are also fairly small.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for doing hard work now so that I can reap the benefits later.
But if you’re going to work really hard for 3 months, and your reward is a $100 check… it’s not really a great opportunity.
If I’m gonna do that, I want the rewards to be HIGH and virtually guaranteed.
I’d rather put in that same 3 months of work (in my spare time) & build a handful of Digital Rental Properties that each produce $500-$2,000 checks every single month afterward (AKA recurring income).
And the cool part is that you can do it in a lot less time than 3 months (I personally did it in my first 2 weeks of using the Digital Rental Method).
Unlike MLMs, you can do it from anywhere in the world, so it’s a genuine “laptop-lifestyle” business.
All you need is an internet connection.
