My answer is No. First, let me make it clear: I don’t think there’s an Enagic scam. You can make money from this program, but that’s still questionable.

For one, Enagic USA has a Multi-level marketing business model. If you’ve been around Center For Worklife, you know my thoughts on multi-level marketing. While some people have made the claim that you can make money from this type of business, the stats prove different.

According to FTC reports, only 25% of multi-level marketing participants actually turn any sort of profit. Considering that this industry is worth $180.5 billion at least by 2019, that’s a lot of money for very few people to benefit from.

So, making money from Enagic USA isn’t a guarantee.

My second reason is that you’ll be selling water filtration systems. While water is life, water filtration systems aren’t, and the average lifespan for most of them is two to four years on continuous use. That means once someone buys one filtration system from you, they won’t need another for a while.

Since you bought loads of products at expensive prices, you end up losing money as no one’s willing to get more than one.

The other downside is your entire online business largely depends on someone else. The main reason most of us start an online business is financial freedom, but that isn’t what an MLM like Enagic USA offers.

Your financial freedom is tied to how many products you sell, the upsells you’re willing to pay, and the recruits you bring to the program. That’s no way to live or make money online.

Try thinking of joining an MLM business like Enagic USA, like paddling a leaky boat in a stormy sea (your debt or the 9 to 5 job you hate). Your initial excitement is the smooth sailing promise the captain of the boat makes. However, as you row harder, you realize the boat is full of holes, and your investments aren’t safe.

MLMs promise you a yacht-like experience while it’s actually a sinking ship that sinks you further into debt, which is something this Trust Pilot user claims happened to them once they joined Enagic USA.

• Someone who got into debt once because of an MLM program and isn’t looking to go down that route again.
• Anyone who’s gone through the terrible Enagic USA reviews and doesn’t think it’s worth risking your money by rolling the dice

Hironari Ohshiro is the president and CEO of Enagic. Hironari has built his company for decades, which, according to him, is still the best water filtration machine company in the world.

Aside from being the CEO of Enagic, he’s also created the controversial concept of ohshiro-ism. This concept consists of three health principles and five kagen principles, which the company follows.

While Hironari claims that the company still has huge success, its reputation has taken a hit online over the years. People are becoming more aware of MLMs and just how difficult it is for the little guy at the bottom to make any real money.

Is Enagic a Pyramid Scheme

It’s no secret that multi-level marketing does have a bad reputation. If it’s not your former classmate looking to sell you the latest health products, it’s the mom next door looking to get you to buy their new beauty products.

If you refuse to take the plunge yourself, they move in and try to recruit you. So, does that make MLM programs like Cash Flow 101 and Enagic pyramid schemes?

While Enagic is a multi-level marketing company, it doesn’t tick the boxes of a pyramid scheme. But there’s one characteristic they all have in common. You need to recruit others to make money. The same goes for Enagic.

But just because you have to recruit people, that doesn’t mean it’s a pyramid scheme.

How Do You Make Money with Enagic?

Since Enagic is a multi-level marketing company, there are only two ways you’d make money. That’s through:

1. Selling the water machine products
2. Recruiting new members

While all these seem fairly easy, it isn’t at all. But by the time you realize that everything you’ve heard is a fairy tale, you’re already knee-deep into the program.

The first bait they hook you in with is the fact that you’ll make a ton of money by rising through the ranks within the company. Once you do pay the recruitment fees and start making sales, you’ll always have to upgrade a level to make more money.

Sad truth is, all you are to Enagic is an underpaid sales rep for their products and company. Now, that’s a horrible way to create a passive income.

With all the facts laid out, if you still decide to take the risk and invest in Enagic USA, well, here’s what I have to say about that.

I’m pretty sure there are different things you look at to determine if it’s the right program for you. Some of these factors include:

• The type of products you’re selling
• Are you required to recruit to make money?
• Does the program have any upsells?

While some MLMs do have legitimate ways for people to make money, not all do. Having a checklist system makes it easier to know if you should run or opt-in for the program.

Using the criteria we’ve set above, let’s find out if Enagic USA is a program you should invest in.

First, the positives,

Unlike most MLMs I’ve written about before like Q Sciences, Enagic USA is one marketing company that doesn’t have pyramid scheme characteristics. Now, that’s a plus.

Second, the company has been around since the 90s, almost three decades. With most MLM companies lasting three years, going for that long means the company might be profitable.

Now, the negatives,

The products they sell are really expensive, as one of the cheapest machines is a thousand dollars old. While people might argue that the products are available, paying lots of money to make peanuts doesn’t make sense.

Second, the fact that this program is an MLM isn’t a good business idea. And that’s something this Trust Pilot user confirms in their review.

Enagic sells water ionizing and water equipment. Some of the famous products they have include alkaline water, kangen water machines, and water filtration equipment. They also offer supplements but aren’t quite popular.

Conclusion- Is There an Enagic Scam?

Time to answer the $1,000,000 question, is there an Enagic scam? My answer is no, there isn’t. While Enagic won’t steal your money, they are still an MLM.

Why pour your soul into a business that could be taken away from you at the drop of a dime?

Big Margins: With MLMs, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to have a VERY large network to make serious money. This usually entails spending A LOT of money on ads and other methods for recruiting members.
