InCruises Review (2023): Should You Join A Multi-Level Marketing Company?

And you’re probably wondering if it’s just another pyramid scheme or a shady multi-level marketing company.

You’ll find out from this InCruises review.

Before I even begin…

MLMs like InCruises are a bit of a mixed bag. They CAN be a legitimate way to make money, but some have a reputation for ruining people’s lives – so it’s important to know what you’re getting, since each is unique.

Like most of my readers, you were probably introduced to this one via a friend or some influencer you trust online.

And it makes sense why so many people recommend them:

Making money outside of a 9-5 can be… life-changing, to say the least.

So in this article, I want to help you explore two things:

1. If MLMs are actually a worthwhile business to pursue
2. If InCruises is a worthwhile MLM

Before that, I want to clear the air on something.

There are A LOT of people out there who bash all MLMs in any form. I am not one of those people.

Instead, I want to genuinely educate you about them so that you can make an informed decision on how to proceed.

If you’re unfamiliar with what MLMs actually do:

They’re businesses in which you pay money to a company for the ability to sell their products.

Sometimes the products are actually kind of decent (I still remember my mom throwing pampered-chef parties when I was younger).

Other times the products are really poorly made and come with a high price tag.

Typically, the only way to really make money is to get people (mostly friends & family) to sign up with you for a recurring subscription.

If the product is 100% legitimate & valuable, it’s entirely possible to get people to sign-up and continue paying you.

If the product is subpar, you’ll usually burn those bridges kind of quickly and end up with $0 coming in each month.

The biggest issue I’ve seen is that this puts significant stress on your personal relationships, as you’re reliant on selling to your “network.”

Think about it: if you KNEW that every time your friend Sally called, she’d be trying to sell you on one of her products… you’d eventually stop answering Sally’s calls.

Now, this doesn’t mean MLMs are outright bad… it means you need to know what type of MLM you’re getting yourself into before you sign up.

Again, some MLMs provide real value to people, but MOST don’t – and so in this article, I’m going to explore what the case is with InCruises.

But before that, I want to ask you a question: what if there was a way to build actual recurring, semi-passive income?

• Doesn’t force you to recruit people onto your “team”

What Is InCruises?

InCruises caters to people who enjoy traveling by cruise ship. Since CLIA (International Association of Cruise Lines) belongs, it concentrates on the cruise sector.

The company started in 2016 in California, US.

InCruises is a tourist and travel company.

They offer membership for people who want to travel less bureaucratically and for less money on cruises, with all their meals and entertainment paid for.

What else? They also get discounts on trips!

You even can earn money by referring people to Incruises, which is another good thing. Cruise lines like MSC Cruises, Holland America Lines, Carnival, and Princess Cruises are on site.

They say that when you join InCruises, you will receive cruise rewards, bonuses, and discounts. On top of that, you will also earn through their other programs.

Who Owns InCruises?

InCruises was founded in 2015 by two experienced entrepreneurs, Michael T. Hutchison and Frank J. Codina.

Michael graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and began his career working with Ross Perot’s Electronic Data Systems (EDS)

He was the Tony Robbins’ V.P. of Worldwide Sales and Marketing (1987-1994).

He’s also the Dun and Bradstreet Host of the web T.V. show Credibility LIVE and best-selling author of Speaking Mastery, Stop It!

Mr. Hutchison lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Who Is Frank J. Codina?

Frank J. Codina lives in San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico.

He began working for Primerica, a company that Citigroup eventually acquired.

He was a co-founder of CitiSolutions Financial Limited in Spain, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

As a leadership team member that assisted in the 2010 NYSE: PRI listing of Primerica.

Frank is the co-founder and CEO of NEURS LLC, where he collaborated with Dr. Denis Cauvier on the book START NOW!

How Does Incruises Work?

Unlike other MLM companies, where you can simply walk into their membership website and register yourself, InCruises requires that you have an invitation to join.

There are three ways to join Incruises, according to the company’s website:

As A Member

You can save money on travel by paying a monthly fee of $100, which equals 200 Cruise Dollars. In other words, for every US$100 you invest, you “earn” 200 Cruise Dollars that you can only use to book cruises.

As A Partner

You get travel discounts, commissions, and incentives in this mode in dollars. To join, you must invest $195.

Other Options

They are given a value in Cruises Dollars. The perks offered to invite new members have changed since. With the last two options, you can access resources that help recruit new members.

Keep in mind that your travel expenses might only account for 60% of your investment. You may use 70% in the second year until the corporation gives 100% of the accrued value in the fifth year.

The principal source of income is through membership sales.

InCruises charges $195 for the first year of partnership; however, most MLM companies provide free membership.

What Are Cruise Dollars?

Cruise Dollars are credits for cruise vacations that members can use on the Incruises website.

These credits automatically apply to your profile each time you pay your monthly subscription and don’t expire. In addition, you can redeem Cruise Dollars at any time to book a cruise.

It’s worth noting that Cruise Dollars are not the company’s official currency and cannot be converted to cash. These credits are redeemable for discounts solely on travel bookings.

How Does The Incruises Club Service Work?

Although InCruises does not offer free travel, the company does promise discounts on future travel if payment is made in advance.

The company can operate with monthly payments from members and earnings from new subscriptions solicited by existing members.

Because fees and tokens must be paid and obtained during the first three months, it’s impossible to use them during those three months.

As a result, they set aside $300 ($ 100 each month) as an initial investment, which they can’t utilize for the first three months. Out of a total of $ 2.400, just 60% of it equals $1.440.

This proportion rises over time until it reaches 100% in the fifth year, although you may utilize all of the money before you reach the age of five.

Referring five friends and requiring them to remain on the platform for at least the first three months is one approach to attaining 100% in the first year.

New user registrations fuel the platform, so they may earn up to $150 in monthly prizes when a user recruits new members.

In this light, the company’s rationale is as follows: the more individuals you recruit, the more discounts and privileges you will get on your cruise travels, including the opportunity to go for free or even be paid to travel.

InCruises Compensation Plan.

Within the InCruises compensation model, there are nine affiliate levels.

Affiliate Levels And Their Qualifying Criteria:

• Sign up as an affiliate and pay the InCruises affiliate fee.
• Marketing Manager – sell $3000 in downline travel memberships every month
• Senior Marketing Manager – sell $10,000 in downline travel memberships every month as a senior marketing manager.
• Marketing Director – sell $25,000 in downline vacation memberships every month
• Senior Marketing Director – sell $50,000 in downline travel memberships every month as a senior marketing director.
• Regional Director – sell $100,000 in downline travel memberships every month
• National Director – sell $200,000 in downline travel memberships every month
• International Director – sell $300,000 in downline travel memberships each month.
• Executive Director – sell $500,000 in downline travel memberships every month.

InCruises pays affiliates commissions for bringing on new affiliates who also sign up for a vacation membership.

The amount of a commission is decided by the number of affiliates recruited each month.

Monthly Commission

You may earn instant pay bonuses ranging from $50 to $150 for bringing in partners like yourself.$50 when you recruit your first affiliate.

• $60 when you recruit your second affiliate.
• $70 when you recruit your third affiliate.
• $80 when you recruit your fourth affiliate. 
• $90 when you recruit your fifth affiliate.
• $100 when you recruit your sixth affiliate.
• $110 when you recruit your seventh affiliate.
• $120 when you recruit your eighth affiliate.
• $150 when you recruit your tenth affiliate (and every affiliate after that)

Recruitment commissions are reset to $50 at the end of each month.

Bonus for the Producer

An InCruises affiliate earns 100 Cruise Dollars for every three non-affiliate vacation subscriptions sold monthly.

Residual Commissions

InCruises uses a one-level compensation system to pay residual commissions.

An affiliate is put at the head of a uni-level team, with every individually recruited affiliate placed right behind them (level 1):

Level 1 affiliates who recruit new affiliates are assigned to the original affiliate’s uni-level team’s level 2.

If any level 2 affiliates join new affiliates, they are promoted to level 3, and so on, up to a theoretical limit of an unlimited number of levels.

InCruises limits the number of uni-level levels that may be paid out to five, with commissions paid out at a set rate of $5 per month for each trip subscription sold and kept inside the uni-level team.

Purchases of travel subscriptions by affiliates and retail customers are included.

To be eligible for residual commissions, an InCruises affiliate must sell and maintain five active travel memberships (affiliate or retail) and personally recruit at least one other affiliate to do the same.

Bonus for Rank Achievement

If an associate qualifies at an acceptable rank, InCruises pays the following Monthly Leadership Bonus.

• $500 for a marketing manager
• Marketing Director – $2500
• Senior Marketing Manager – $1000
• $5000 for a Senior Marketing Director
• Regional Director – $10,000 a month 
• National Director – $20,000 a month
• International Director – $30,000 a month, plus a Rolex watch (one-time)
• $55,000 for Executive Director

Bonus Pool

Each month, InCruises pays out 5% of the company’s total sales volume in equal shares to “qualified leaders.”

The InCruises pay plan does not include any criteria for “qualified leaders.”

Travel Benefits

Within 60 days of signing up, a new InCruises affiliate who recruits seven affiliates who each acquire a travel membership receives a “50 percent discount” voucher for a “Company Sponsored Dream Cruise.”

‘Earn a Dream Cruise booking for two with no out-of-pocket charges’ if a new affiliate recruits fourteen travel subscription affiliates within 60 days of joining.

Affiliate membership with InCruises is $195 for the first year and then $95 per year.

Is InCruises A Scam?

So, time for the $1,000,000 question: is InCruises a scam?

No, not technically. They aren’t going to run off with your money and not give you what you paid for. It’s 100% possible to make money with this program.

That being said, it’s not nearly as simple as they want you to think it is.

There’s A LOT of work to be done upfront and no guarantee that you’ll be successful. The commissions are also fairly small.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for doing hard work now so that I can reap the benefits later.

But if you’re going to work really hard for 3 months, and your reward is a $100 check… it’s not really a great opportunity.

If I’m gonna do that, I want the rewards to be HIGH and virtually guaranteed.

I’d rather put in that same 3 months of work (in my spare time) & build a handful of Digital Rental Properties that each produce $500-$2,000 checks every single month afterward (AKA recurring income).

And the cool part is that you can do it in a lot less time than 3-months (I personally did it in my first 2 weeks of using the Digital Rental Method).
