Banyan Hill Review (2023): Is It Actually Legit?

Updated On: November 29, 2023

Welcome to my Banyan Hill review. My goal is to answer common questions like: how much it costs, if it's a scam, and if you can actually make money with it. The end goal is to help you understand if it's a good fit for you personally, and if there are any better alternatives out there.

What I liked
Banyan Hill Publishing is a top-notch investment-related newsletter
It employs a good team of financial experts
Paul Mamphilly has a good reputation.
What I Didn’t Like
No refund policy, but you can change services.
Infomercials are a frustrating waste of time, promising nothing and seeking subscribers.
Taking their advice is at your own risk.

Banyan Hill is the #1 resource in America for safer, wiser, and more successful investing. They advertise that they have a team of experts and provide high-quality investing newsletters that guarantee profits.

One of their products even claims that a subscriber made $16,000 in one day...

Hard to believe?  Can you trust Banyan Hill, or will it scam and leave you with nothing?

Alright, so Banyan Hill doesn’t exactly fit into a nice category.

At the end of the day, investing in stocks is a… unique way to think about making money.

It’s certainly possible to make money with off-the-wall businesses like this, but unless you’re interested in taking years out of your life to experiment with an unproven business model, I would look elsewhere.

My #1 personal recommendation if we’re talking about starting a fully-online business has got to be the Lead Generation & Ad Agency business models.

There are a handful of programs that teach you the ropes, but my #1 choice that combines both of those business models into one is the Digital Rental Method program

But, if you’re hard pressed to jump head-first into an off-the-wall business model, let’s continue on to my full breakdown of Banyan Hill.

Banyan Hill Publishing Reviews

Do you have questions about Banyan Hill (aka Banyan Hill Publishing)?

Your search for pro.banyanhill.com reviews may be prompted by a promotional email about a specific service!

Banyan Hill is the company behind some highly successful financial newsletters (often found on pro.banyanhill.com).

After reviewing several Banyan Hill newsletters, I thought it was time to learn more about Banyan Hill.

What Is Banyan Hill Publishing?

What Is Banyan Hill Publishing

In 1998, Banyan Hill Publishing’s name was “The Sovereign Society.” It’s owned by Agora Financial, a major financial publishing company.

The company’s business strategy includes free and paid offers and financial & investment newsletters.

So who is their intended audience? Individual investors.

Banyan Hill Timeline

Banyan Hill Timelines

In the 1990s, the focus was on globalized investment strategies that focused on protecting assets, diversifying away from the US dollar, opening and operating offshore bank accounts, getting second citizenship and living abroad, and making multinational commercial corporations.

However, when the company changed its name to Banyan Hill Publishing in 2016, it turned its attention to U.S.-based investment options to assist followers in making more money in the markets.

Chief Income Strategist & Financial Experts

Financial Experts

Two of the publisher’s financial experts are Ted Bauman and Paul Mampilly of The Bauman Letter. They conduct research and publish their newsletters.

The most popular newsletters and sales videos I’ve looked at are Kennedy Accounts, Freedom Checks, Genesis Investing System, 590 Triple-Digit Winners, and, more recently, Automatic Fortunes and Ian King’s Digitarium Technology pitch.

“The Biggest Profit Opportunity Of The Decade” is Paul Mampilly’s latest pitch, and I’ve written about it recently.

When you first arrive at the Banyan Hill website, you’ll be struck by how much it resembles a blog.

A blog with links to most of their newsletters is what it is.

Banyan Hill’s email marketing strategy is ingenious, to say the least. While that may not pique your attention, I find their strategy intriguing as a blogger and internet marketer. To explain, here are the reasons:

Their email marketing efforts allow them to provide value to their subscribers while also pointing them toward profitable investing. It’s fascinating from a marketing standpoint how often they manage to advertise their premium emails in addition to free ones.

Who Is Behind Banyan Hill?

Agora Financial

Agora Financial is the holding company for Banyan Hill.

Although this isn’t a review of Agora, it’s important to note that Banyan Hill is a part of that reputable and well-known publisher, which also owns other financial publications.

The largest financial publishing business in the world, Agora Financial, publishes newsletters written by various financial experts.

Bill Bonner founded the business in 1979; since then, it has expanded consistently.

Agora Financial is frequently mentioned in digital marketing publications and videos since they earn more revenue.

Money Map Press is another Agora website that is comparable to Banyan Hill.

Although Agora Financial isn’t the focus of this post, I believe it’s crucial because it lets readers know that Banyan Hill Publishing is a real business. It also offers readers a better idea of the company’s overall mission.

Banyan Hill Negative Reviews

Customer Reviews

Here’s some feedback from a Banyan Hill subscriber:

“It is all a scam. My elderly mother was being charged excessive fees for several newsletters, and they were sending her books and other items. I notice this with her Visa CC because I pay her bills. At the beginning of the year, I played whack-a-mole with them, requesting that Visa place a top on them and report them as fraud. Each allegation had its own 800 number, and each publication denied any connection to another. Guess what? I requested that one of them change my Moms e-mail address to one I monitor, and the spam has begun.” -Jamaica Joe.

Banyan Hill Review: Final Verdict

FInal Verdict

Based on my research, Banyan Hill Publishing is not a fraud. If you are looking for a newsletter company that provides general investing advice, it may be helpful to you.

The only major drawbacks are the over-the-top marketing tactics to promote some of their products and programs. Furthermore, the cost of their subscription service is relatively high.

For example, a program named Freedom Checks claims that you might receive enormous checks in the amount of five and six figures by mail.

Although I thought that was a little over the top, on the whole, they are a respectable company that you can trust to give you investing advice. Don’t forget that investment generally entails a degree of risk.

When it comes to making some additional cash, I believe there are better options out there for those who aren’t interested in becoming a serious investment. My “no.1 recommendation,” which you can see here, is a good example.

It’s a terrific alternative to investing in the stock market because it’s a long-term approach and system for making real money online.

Are There Alternatives To Banyan Hill Publishing?

Alternatives

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:

Is Banyan Hill A Scam?

Is It A Scam

Time for the $1,000,000 question: is Banyan Hill actually a scam?

I wouldn’t technically call it a scam, though others might.

It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.

No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.

But the second, more important question is: is Banyan Hill actually worth the investment?

My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.

There are countless other business models that are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?

I’d rather have a program with thousands of successful students & plenty of room for others to join.

If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know I recommend a few different programs depending on your skills & goals.

My current top choice is using the Digital Rental Method, because you have a proven, systematic path to 6-figures, and you can do it from anywhere you want.

I’ve got friends in there posting deals from the middle of the woods in a camper-van with their pet pig… which is cool.

My #1 Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2022?

Make Real Money Online With Digital Landlord

Alright, time for me to get real with my lovely readers for a moment:

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve dropshipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

Did Banyan Hill Make The List?

THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true, because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by stuff like Banyan Hill.

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

I’m not saying Banyan Hill itself is a piece of trash; I’m just saying you need to be very, very careful.

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.

There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is the Digital Rental Method program.

Why? It has proven leaders with their own 7-figure businesses implementing exactly what they teach you.

I’ve also got over a dozen personal friends in there, so I feel comfortable telling you it works.

Whether you’re a complete newbie or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, their program works.

Here’s why:

1)Time: If you’ve got a spare hour or two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all-in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.

And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring (for the most part).

That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world.

But you can only do that once you’ve created an income stream that doesn’t require YOU to be there all day, every day.

2)Big Margins: With most businesses, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money.

using the Digital Rental Method, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort to create the next property decreases.

Best-case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on “auto-pilot.”

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with Banyan Hill, you would need [what they need to do]. And I can guarantee you that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with financial newsletters is that you’re basically only helping yourself.

But With the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off-the-wall business models like Banyan Hill and maybe hit it big one day.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.

If this sounds like you, click here to see how it all works.
