The book publishing industry had invaded the Internet when digital publishing enabled self-publishing. This clarifies that the next big question is whether or not online book publishing will be successful in the future. But the question now is, can you really make money by self-publishing a book?
Why put in long hours working for someone else when you can be your own boss? The decision is completely yours.
You can benefit when you start your own Amazon digital publishing business. Everything you do for your career is for you, not your employer.
It’s possible to live however you want instead of being a slave to your job. Any decision you make is motivated by what you want, not what your job requires.
They can assist you in getting there. The Publishing Life goal is to offer you complete freedom and choice.
Alright, so Publishinglife.com doesn’t exactly fit into a nice category.
At the end of the day, digital publishing is a… unique way to think about making money.
It’s certainly possible to make money with off-the-wall businesses like this, but unless you’re interested in taking years out of your life to experiment with an unproven business model, I would look elsewhere.
My #1 personal recommendation if we’re talking about starting a fully-online business has got to be the Lead Generation & Ad Agency business models.
There are a handful of programs that teach you the ropes, but my #1 choice that combines both of those business models into one is the Digital Rental Method program
But, if you’re hard-pressed to jump head-first into an off-the-wall business model, let’s continue to my full breakdown of Publishinglife.com.
What Is PublishingLife?
PublishingLife was founded in March of 2020, but its journey began far earlier. The company’s founders, Rasmus and Christian Mikkelsen, went to a community college in New Jersey while also working part-time as Chinese food delivery drivers, where they hit a dead-end.
They realized that if they just did what everyone else does, they would spend 40 dreadful hours a week working at an office to make someone else rich and happy except themselves.
The mere thought of asking for permission to take a break from work was enough to persuade them that this was the wrong path to take.
They understood that the world was meant to be explored; life should be filled with unforgettable experiences and emotions rather than being spent working on meaningless tasks for a paycheck.
It was clear that being their own boss and creating something that could run entirely online was the only way to have complete freedom and control in life.
Rasmus and Christian went through many ups and downs until they ultimately achieved their dream life.
Since then, they’ve lived in Hawaii, Bali, Mexico, and Spain. And thanks to Amazon digital publishing, they have been to every place on their travel bucket list, including the Maldives, Japan, Santorini, Egypt, Italy, and Cuba.
They are so grateful for the positive impact that book publishing has had on their lives that they can’t put it into words. A sense of accomplishment and fulfillment can only be achieved by making a positive impact on the lives of others.
All of this, and they’re only getting started.
Rasmus and Christian founded PublishingLife.com after realizing that their job was too big for just two people. Through Amazon book publishing, they hoped to help as many individuals as possible achieve the same financial happiness and fulfillment.
So far, they’ve had a lot of success, but they’re only scratching the surface. They are working on several projects to reach out to more people and help them on a more personal level.
Online work is constantly evolving, so they prioritize staying up-to-date with the best educational resources.

Most people accept the “go to college, get a job, and retire at 65” storyline.
However, most people never question whether this is the best option for them. Instead, they just accept it, lying in bed at night, hopelessly dreaming of a different life, only to wake up the following day to get back on the hamster wheel.
Publishing Life believes that you can create your own freedom. Their flagship program, Audiobook Income Academy, can show you how.
They’ve assisted over 175 people in quitting their jobs…
Most people settle for a mundane existence because it’s convenient. All you need to do is show up at the office and do what they tell you.
But it’s dull, unfulfilling, and pointless. And even then, most people can’t afford much more than the bare necessities.
So, what causes them to do it? PublishingLife believes this is because most people don’t believe there is another way.
They’re here to tell you that you don’t have to wait until the age of 65 to be free, and they’re confident in their claims because they’ve already assisted hundreds of people in accomplishing their goals.
They’ve earned over $20 million in verified earnings as a community! In addition, students earned more than $20,000,000 in verified earnings.
“Self-publishing is the quickest, most efficient, and simplest way to generate passive income online.”
What’s Inside PublishingLife’s Free Training?
In this course, you’ll learn about “The New Way To Make Passive Income With Amazon Without Selling Physical Products,” which is entirely free.
You’ll learn a lot in this free training, including…

An Amazon business model that promises actual passive income is being promoted in this free web class hosted by Christian Mikkelsen.
What Is Audiobook Income Academy?
Aia 2.0, or the Audiobook Income Academy, has made an online business model for teaching people how to become publishers on Amazon’s Publishing Company. The goal is to teach people how to make passive income, and there has been a lot of talk about this course.
This program has divided opinions, with some saying it’s nothing more than a scam. In contrast, others say it has helped them become financially secure.
Fake positive reviews run rampant in today’s world, making it impossible to determine which are genuine. After countless hours of research into Audiobook Income Academy and the Mikkelsen Twins’ careers, I still couldn’t determine between the two.
They came up with the term ghost audio to get more people to sign up for their free webinar training on their Publishinglife.com website.
On their landing page, they make some exaggerated claims about how easy it is to make money, with little to no effort required.
To get people to watch their webinars, this is all marketing gimmickry.
During the free training, they mention that you will have to work hard to succeed with this business model. This “easily generate $5K – $20K per month” method isn’t so simple after all, it seems.
For the time being, let’s ignore the glaring inconsistency and examine the business model for ghost audio.
What Is Ghost Audio?
The Mikkelsen twins say that “ghost audio” is when you hire ghostwriters to write content for you and then publish it as your own on sites like Amazon in ebook format, audiobooks, and physical books.
You outsource the work while earning passive income. That’s what the Mikkelsen twins refer to as ghost audio.
Is Self-Publishing Worth It?
How Many Self-Published Authors Are Successful?
I’m going to share with you a little secret. You won’t make a lot of money as a writer if you do it yourself. But before you start throwing Harry Potter and Game of Thrones up, please consider the word “unlikely.” JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter in a small room in Scotland and earned a fortune. Yes, such stories exist.
However, realistically, only about 5% of writers make a living solely from their writing. In terms of getting your book out there in the first place, the odds of it being accepted by a publisher are estimated to be one in 100,000. On both counts, I’m afraid lightning strikes very, very rarely.
So, How Does The Self-Publishing Business Work?
Increasing the odds to 1:1 appears to be a much more appealing proposition. To be honest, it’d be impolite not to!
Add to that the creative control you retain over your own material (rather than a slew of gatekeepers opining on your book cover, content, and even the title of your prized ‘offspring,’ as well as an estimated 70% profit from book sales, and the pound signs are positively glowing in your eyes.
Do You Want To Devote 90% Of Your Time To Marketing?
Self-publishing has clear and definite benefits, but it also has its downsides. Self-publishing might not be ideal if you need to be completely invested in your craft or lock yourself up and live in the world you’re making. Today, visibility and popularity are the most important things for selling books.
This includes Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, and whatever other platform becomes the next social media favorite. Be prepared to devote up to 90% of your time to marketing and enlist the help of friends and family in your quest for success. The struggle to be noticed among Amazon’s purported 3.4 million books is very real. Add in the cost of all of this, and you’re just as likely to lose money as you are to make it.
Is It Time To Call It Quits On Self-Publishing?
So, what is the solution? Should we hang up our boots, call it quits, and spend the rest of our lives wandering around with ideas in our heads? Most certainly not! To begin with, writing is a calling.
Alternatively, you could teach. You simply have to do it. And, like nursing or teaching, you are unlikely to become wealthy from it. But it can fulfill you in ways that few other things can!
Is The $1497 Price Of PublishingLife.Com Justified?
I personally believe that Publishinglife is worthwhile. Why? Because the program will walk through the process of making money publishing books which is best for newbies like you.
However, if I were a newbie in need of guidance, I couldn’t argue with what PublishingLife has to offer.
Rasmus and Christian Mikkelsen have created something unique. Suppose you can afford their publishing package and are confident that publishing is something you want to do. In that case, I’d recommend giving them a shot.

Is Self Publishing Profitable?
Now that digital publishing has given birth to the concept of self-publishing a book, the book publishing industry has ventured into the internet realm. As a result, the apparent question of online book publishing arises. Is it possible to profit from self-publishing a book?
Yes, self-publishing is profitable, but in ways you may not have expected.
PublishingLife.com Conclusion
Please note that this publishing life review should not be interpreted as a promotion of Rasmus & Christian Mikkelsen or Publishinglife.com.
Reviewing legitimate products gets the same amount of attention as reviewing scams, and this is just because I’m trying to be fair.
It’s possible that people who give negative reviews about PublishingLife (calling it a get-rich-quick scheme or scam) haven’t tried it or that they’ve tried it and were too lazy to give it the effort it requires to publish their own books.
PublishingLife offers the proper guidance and publishing process you will need to succeed.
If you’re considering a career in publishing, you should seriously consider this option. You should also direct any questions or concerns about PublishingLife.com to their staff.
Are There Any Alternatives To PublishingLife?
Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:
Is PublishingLife.com An Online Business Scam?
Time for the million-dollar question: is Publishinglife.com actually a scam?
I wouldn’t technically call it a scam, though others might.
It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.
What I’m saying is: after buying, someone will in fact send you a login to a website where you can actually view their material. No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.
But the second, more important question is: is Publishinglife.com actually worth the investment?
My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.
There are countless other business models that are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?
I’d rather have a program with thousands of successful students & plenty of room for others to join.
If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know I recommend a few different programs depending on your skills & goals.
My current top choice is using the Digital Rental Method because you have a proven, systematic path to 6-figures, and you can do it from anywhere you want.
I’ve got friends there who are posting deals from the middle of the woods in a camper-van with their pet pig… which is cool.
What Is My #1 Recommendation To Make Money Online In 2023?
Alright, time for me to get real with my lovely readers for a moment:
I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:
Read Our In Depth Breakdown Of The Top 5 OtherOpp Courses For 2024
- I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
- I’ve dropshipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
- I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing
And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.
THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by stuff like Publishinglife.
They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.
I’m not saying Publishinglife itself is a piece of trash, I’m just saying you need to be very, very careful.
This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried, and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.
There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is the Digital Rental Method program.
Why? It has proven leaders with their own 7-figure businesses implementing exactly what they teach you.
I’ve also got over a dozen personal friends there, so I feel comfortable telling you it works.
Their program works whether you’re a complete newbie or have been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward.
Here’s why:
1)Time: You can do this if you’ve got a spare hour or two each day. If you want to drop everything and go all-in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.
And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring (for the most part).
That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world.
But you can only do that once you’ve created an income stream that doesn’t require YOU to be there all day, every day.
2)Big Margins: With most businesses, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money.
using the Digital Rental Method, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.
Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.
Best-case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on “auto-pilot.”
3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…
If you wanted to double your income with digital publishing, you would need to write a book and publish it online. And I can guarantee you it’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.
4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with digital publishing is that you’re basically only helping yourself.
But With the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:
Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.
You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.
Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.
So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off-the-wall business models like digital publishing and maybe hit it big one day.
You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.
OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.
