Who Is Justus McCranie?
While most Americans hurried to their vehicles after worship on May 22, 2011, the members of one rural church remained seated. It seems like they were practicing their scenes and putting on their “extra” outfits. Gastonia, North Carolina native and aspiring filmmaker Justus McCranie, 17, enlisted the support of the Church Without Walls’ 75-person congregation for a crucial scene in his short film.
As a result of such assistance, things have worked out very well, from being a little boy fascinated by his family’s home video recorder to a self-taught filmmaker recording for national audiences in less than 10 years.
At the tender age of eight, he was already captivated by filmmaking and all things linked to it. An outdated VHS camera was all he needed to get him started in the world of home video production. Only when he was 14 did he realize he had a true calling in filmmaking and intended to pursue it for the rest of his life. Consequently, he began his own videography company at the age of 16 and saw it flourish.
He’s also done missionary work as a videographer for several missionary organizations and has gone to different nations worldwide. Time for the $1,000,000 question: is Tomorrow’s Filmmakers actually a scam?
I wouldn’t technically call it a scam, though others might.
It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.
What I’m saying is: after buying, someone will in fact send you a login to a website where you can actually view their material. No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.
But the second, more important question is: is Tomorrow’s Filmmakers actually worth the investment?
My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.
There are countless other business models that are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?
