Wood Profits Review (2022): Should You Start A Woodworking Business?

What I Liked

What I Didn't Like

Before we get into it... who am i?

Always good to put a name to a face, so firstly, my name is Hope!

Like you, I was stuck working 8-10 hour days building someone else’s dream.

I worked at one of those cool tech companies that has omelet stations for breakfast & craft beer on tap for after hours.

To a lot of people that’s a dream, but to me… something was missing.

All I really wanted, was to actually enjoy life – more vacations, less stress, buy myself nice things without worrying about the cost… but that was something my 9-5 couldn’t provide me.

That was until a few years ago when I discovered a way to make money online by actually helping real people.

People in this case were local business owners across the US.

Me and My Puppy

The page above is an example of how I do it. That one-page site generates $1,500/mo and I haven’t even touched it since it was put up.

That’s an $18,000/year raise from just one page.

That’s why local lead generation is my #1 business recommendation for recurring, semi-passive income. If you want to learn about that business model, click here.

Important: I am not an affiliate

for Wood Profits

Why Does That Matter?

A lot of course reviewers have no experience with any of the business models or programs they review, and so they’re just making stuff up.

They do that because they want you to click through their link to buy from the person that the review is about!

They have no clue what it’s actually like to run the type of business Wood Profits is teaching you to do.
I have absolutely no relationship with Wood Profits, so you can rest easy knowing that I’m going to give you my honest opinion
This review is written based on my own experiences with this business model.

All that being said, let’s jump into things.

Starting a woodworking company is a smart option, but it will be tough to get going without the right training and resources.

Fortunately, my honest review is here to assist you in getting started with your profitable work-from-home online business through woodworking without incurring too much expense.

I’m going to review multiple aspects of Wood Profits to decide if it really is the best woodworking training platform out there.

I’ll talk about whether woodworking is the right work-from-home business for you.

Alright, so Wood Profits doesn’t exactly fit into a nice category.

At the end of the day, woodworking is a… unique way to think about making money.

It’s certainly possible to make money with off-the-wall businesses like this, but unless you’re interested in taking years out of your life to experiment on an unproven business model, I would look elsewhere.

My #1 personal recommendation if we’re talking about starting a fully-online business has got to be the Lead Generation & Ad Agency business models.

There are a handful of programs that teach you the ropes, but my #1 choice that combines both of those business models into one is the Digital Landlords program

But, if you’re hard-pressed to jump head-first into an off-the-wall business model, let’s continue on to my full breakdown of Wood Profits.

Wood Profits Review At A Glance

Wood Profits Review At A Glance

About: Wood Profits ebook was created in 2012 that promises to show you how to start selling your wood projects online for less than $1,000 as startup capital.

Owner: Jim Morgan, a former electrician (Fake Persona!)

Wood Profits Cost: $37

Verdict: You can see a lot of red flags here, and none can help you make $150K per year, as they claim.

What Is Wood Profits About Exactly?

What Is Wood Profits About Exactly

Jim Morgan’s Wood Profits, released in 2012, is a book and audio recording that, for the low price of $37, claims to teach you all you need to know to manage your own woodworking company.

The delivery of a download link follows the signup process.

Yes, I’m definitely for those who want to finally be their own boss and ditch the 9-5 job, but unfortunately, I’m going to tell you all the reasons why you shouldn’t believe what you see on the sales page of the Wood Profits website.

Don’t get me wrong here. I’m not saying woodworking is not a viable option, but I do believe Wood Profits falls short of expectations.

Any training program that claims you can make loads of money in a brief period of time with little or no work is outright deceiving you.

My own business earns a monthly profit of $6k, but trust me, I needed to put in the effort straightaway and steadily over a long period of time before seeing any results.

Jim Morgan claims to be the brains behind this groundbreaking technology. However, Jim Morgan does not exist outside of fiction. That’s right; he doesn’t live! Google makes it possible to find out almost anything.

Since this Jim Morgan is a Shutterstock image, that means anyone might just be the next Jim Morgan.

Fortunately, you’re not the person in the photo selected randomly from Shutterstock! Before you join the Wood Profits program, read my Wood Profits review and learn what there is to know about it.

Who Is Wood Profits For?

Who Is Wood Profits For

Wood Profits is a book for seasoned artisans and beginners who have a passion for woodworking and want to turn it into a profitable company. Making money with Wood Profits doesn’t need any special knowledge or skills.

With their comprehensive training program, you can easily start and expand your own woodworking business.

Can You Make Money With Wood Profits?

Digital Landlord Better Than Wood Profits

Yes, you may find some bits and pieces of knowledge useful, but making money from this incredibly basic and out-of-date program would be difficult.

For one, there is nothing new or unique about the Wood Profits content. The material included in the course can be found elsewhere on the internet – for free!

The income claims on the website are also absurd, boasting that you could make up to $150,000 per year.

Compare that with their disclaimer, Jim’s suddenly sounding a little shaken.

5 Wood Profits Red Flags Exposed!

5 Wood Profits Red Flags Exposed

1. Wood Profits Owner Jim Morgan Doesn’t Exist.

Wood Profits Owner Jim Morgan Doesnt Exist

The whole sales page was written by a fictitious character named Jim Morgan.

Jim Morgan is a complete fabrication, and as a result, the true identity of the people behind Wood Profits remains a mystery.

His picture is just a typical stock photo anybody may get online.

What’s even funnier is that the rest of the images on their website’s sales page are all different people!

It’s as if the product’s creator simply googled “Guy working in a woodworking shop” and picked whichever photos he wanted.

A product owner who doesn’t disclose their identity should raise some serious red flags. What legit product or service withholds such basic information from the consumers?

2. Wood Profits Is Fake News!

Wood Profits Is Fake News

Additionally, Wood Profits states that they have been featured on CNN, USA Today, and Entrepreneur Magazine, among other prominent media outlets.

Of course, I did search online to verify this claim, and needless to say, there wasn’t a single mention of the name Jim Morgan or Wood profits on any of these popular media outlets.

Again, just like the phony photos of Jim Morgan, this is yet another fake news that has been entirely fabricated on their sales pages.

3. Pretend Wood Profits Reviews Designed To Deceive.

Pretend Wood Profits Reviews Designed To Deceive

Wood Profits uses fake Facebook profiles to generate fraudulent reviews, proving that it’s a scam.

Initial impressions may lead you to believe that this training platform is a surefire way to make money. Some users claim to have made $400 in a single weekend by implementing the advice provided in the accompanying booklet.

However, these are exaggerated and false success stories the scammer concocted to persuade you that this is worth your time and money.

If making $150,000 a year manufacturing furniture is true, then there would be no shortage of verifiable success stories from people who signed up, went through the training, and applied what they’ve learned.

4. Bold Income Claims Not Backed By Earnings Disclosure

Bold Income Claims Not Backed By Earnings Disclosure

Wood Profits has made several bold and daring claims. It’s interesting how they would tell you anything just to be able to convince you to fork over your money to them.

But their earnings disclaimer is saying something else entirely!

Just like that, all faith in their product is lost.

Here’s how they’re making excuses:

“We do not guarantee or imply that you will get rich, that you will do as well, or that you will have any earnings (whether monetary or advertising credits, whether convertible to cash or not), at all.”

And they say you’re unlikely to get anything out of this. This is what they have to say in their very own words:

“If you rely on the specific income or earnings figures used, you must accept all the risk of not doing as well. The described experiences are atypical. Your financial results are likely to differ from those described in the testimonials.”

Now, do you see what I’ve been trying to say? Nothing they say should be taken seriously!

5. Brace Yourself For Upsells Galore!

Brace Yourself For Upsells Galore

Think again if you feel $37 is the end of the road. This initial charge is to get you past the door and begin presenting you with their upsells.

The first up-sell would cost you an extra $29.97, another $39.00, and an extra $49.97.

I’m not really into upsells for a variety of reasons. Still, the biggest one is that when you sign up for Wood Profits, you’re promised that you’ll get a step-by-step guide to follow and implement, so why exactly are there up-sells when you’re told you’re getting everything with the entry price tag?

It’s a trick intended to extort as much money as possible from you.

Don’t fall for this trap!

Is Wood Profits Right For You?

Is Wood Profits Right For You

If I were you, I’d take your $37 and find something else.

There are bits of information you might find useful, but nothing there that you can’t find in Google, and definitely nothing that will make you earn $150k per year.

I do recall stumbling upon this product some seven years ago. And the inclusion of a CD image on their design indicates how outdated this product is.

Trust me, the only people who will profit from this are the undisclosed or rather fake product owners and the affiliates in ClickBank promoting it.

Does Wood Profits Provide A Money-Back Guarantee?

Does Wood Profits Provide A Money Back Guarantee

Many believe that the Wood Profits scheme is not fraudulent since they take money from your wallet. This Wood Profits review is out on my very thorough research. There is, however, one positive part of the program.

You get a 60-day money-back guarantee. Since woodworking income is a ClickBank offering, you have a 60-day money-back guarantee.

You will get a refund immediately.

I think I’ve named enough reasons earlier on why you should be wary of Woods Profit. I’ll leave the answer to you.

Are There Alternatives To Wood Profits?

Alternative Thinking

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:

Is Wood Profits A Scam Or Legit?

Legit Or Scam

Time for the $1,000,000 question: is Wood Profits actually a scam?

I wouldn’t technically call it a scam, though others might.

It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.

What I’m saying is: after buying, someone will in fact send you a login to a website where you can actually view their material. No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.

But the second, more important question is: is Wood Profits actually worth the investment?

My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.

There are countless other business models that are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?

I’d rather have a program with thousands of successful students & plenty of room for others to join.

If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know I recommend a few different programs depending on your skills & goals.

My current top choice is becoming a Digital Landlord, because you have a proven, systematic path to 6-figures, and you can do it from anywhere you want.

I’ve got friends in there that are posting deals from the middle of the woods in a camper van with their pet pig… which is kinda cool.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money From Home In 2022?

Make Money Online With Digital Landlord

Alright, time for me to get real with my lovely readers for a moment:

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve drop-shipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true, because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by stuff like Wood Profits.

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

I’m not saying Wood Profits itself is a piece of trash, I’m just saying you need to be very, very careful.

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.

There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is the Digital Landlords program.

Why? It has proven leaders with their own 7-figure businesses implementing exactly what they teach you.

I’ve also got over a dozen personal friends in there, so I feel comfortable telling you it works.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, their program works.

Here’s why:

1)Time: If you’ve got a spare hour or two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.

And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring (for the most part).

That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world.

But you can only do that once you’ve created an income stream that doesn’t require YOU to be there all day, every day.

2)Big Margins: With most businesses, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money.

Being a Digital Landlord, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best-case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on “auto-pilot.”

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with woodworking, you would need to exert time and effort. And I can guarantee you, that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with woodworking, is that you’re basically only helping yourself.

But when you’re a Digital Landlord, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put food on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off-the-wall business models like woodworking, and maybe hit it big one day.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.
