Alison J Prince Reviews (2024 Update): Is She a Legit E-Com Guru?

TLDR – What’s The Verdict on Alison J Prince’s Online Education Platform?

Let me not beat around the bush. Should you invest in Alison’s online learning platforms?

My answer is NO. You shouldn’t pay for Alison courses.

Before I get to the actual reason I’m saying NO, I get the appeal of online courses. Who wouldn’t want to jump on the opportunity to make 0-100k in a month or two?

Isn’t that the whole reason why anyone would start an online business?

While that might sound great on paper, let me be straight with you.

Alison’s online courses are simply pretty much the standard dropshipping programs you’ve probably interacted with.

Now, having tried to make money online using dropshipping, I can tell you for free that this isn’t a great business. It’s not that I’m shitting on dropshipping, but it just isn’t worth all the hassle, especially if your want to make money online.

For one, dropshipping is really competitive. The number of people who’ve searched for how to start a dropshipping business has grown to 87% over the past three years.

And that number is expected to grow exponentially over the next two years. Now, here’s the thing out of the 87%, let’s say 60% start the business. That means you’ll be competing with a whole lot of people for almost the same market.

Let’s assume you have a product that will help you stand out. While that’s possible, that doesn’t mean someone else hasn’t thought of including that in their e-commerce store.

The more that product becomes common, the more another dropshipping store will want to include it. This then ends up making it even harder to sell the product you thought would help you stand out.

The more the competition, the harder it gets to make any sales.

You’re better off staying at your full-time job as your income is guaranteed. Also, as someone who’s done dropshipping, if you really want to make money online, I’d advise you to look at other business models.

If you prefer a business model that can help you generate a semi-passive recurring income, you’d be interested in the Digital Rental Method program.

Dropshipping might help you make some money, but my main gripe with it is:

• The tons of time spent looking for the perfect product

• Constant competition from an already oversaturated industry

• The thousands of dollars spent on ads

Who Benefits From Alison’s Courses?

If you’ve read my Center For WorkLife blogs, you know by now that I’m a huge advocate for making money online.

But you’ve got to find the right program to get the kind of financial freedom you’re looking for. This is why I’ve reviewed other program platforms like Low Hanging System and Ecom Babe.

With the right knowledge or information about a program, you can make an informed decision whether to go for diploma courses, free courses, or another paid program.

With that said, who is Alison’s course for, and who is it not for?

If something in this list relates to you, this program might be for you.

• You already have an e-commerce store and are looking to grow your business using some of the strategies.

• You have a couple of thousands of dollars saved, and you just want to test out different business models.

• You already have a unique product and want to try to make a killing by selling it in a dropshipping store.

Who is this program not for?

• You’re looking for a program that can give a consistent semi-passive income. According to this Reddit Thread, 0-100K is the type of program where you sign up and are forgotten easily.

• You’re tired of always having to battle it out with other e-commerce sites for customers’ attention. You’ll be competing with over 6.4 million stores around the world, and that’s a lot.

• You don’t want to hand over access to your business to someone else.

Alison’s Courses- The 1,000 FT View of The 0-100K Online Business Opportunity

In this part of the Alison review, I’m going to take a deep dive into the online business opportunity.

So, let’s start with the basics

The Business Model

Alison J Prince runs a course named 0-100k. As the name implies, she helps her students earn money from dropshipping and shifts their income from 0-100k.

It doesn’t matter whether you start the business with thousands of dollars or Zero; according to Alison, you can grow your business to 100K.

Does this promise work? First, she does have some interesting ideas on how to grow your income. One strategy that I do love is that you get to do so by relying on organic strategies.

While organic traffic strategies are a great way to get customers, her approach to it might not work.

For one, let’s not forget that Alison’s course is a dropshipping one. This means that while she may be focusing on helping you get organic traffic, the strategies she teaches might not be great.

Generating more organic traffic is more than simply using Facebook ads. It’s also about knowing how to:

• Creating the right copy

• Knowing which platforms to use

• Knowing the fundamentals of how to run ads.

Truth is, what Alison teaches might not help you know all these aspects of generating organic traffic. And without customers, your dropshipping business is bound to fail.

Learning how to generate leads from an actual expert does make a huge difference.

About The Guru- Who is Alison J Prince?

Apart from being the founder of the 0-100K program, who is Alison J Prince?

First, she has decades of experience in the e-commerce business. She is also really active on social media, as she has 26.4 K subscribers on YouTube. She has also appeared on podcasts with guests made of women entrepreneurs panelists.

It’s also worth noting that most of the students who’ve interacted with Alison’s online learning platforms were women.

Having watched some of her YouTube videos, it’s clear to see that Alison is passionate about dropshipping. This is unlike what I’ve seen from different gurus within this field, like Lunar Ecom.

Aside from her passion for dropshipping, Alison claims that she’s developed many seven-figure e-commerce businesses. This is what led her to package her strategies into the 0-100k program.

While I’m all for growth as a woman, I largely believe that when it comes to the online business space, the guru you have doesn’t matter.

All that matters is what you learn and the legitimacy of the business; the rest is secondary.

So, when you find a course that’s taught by an experienced guru regardless of gender, take the bull by the horns and go for it.

The Cost of The 0-100K Program

Alison does have two price points for her dropshipping online course. The first one is her one-time price of $997.

The second is her four-month payment plan of $299.

Considering some of the prices of other platforms I’ve written about, like Zen Arbitrage, I think this one is much fairer.

But if you’re looking for a free online course, you’d better look for platforms that offer that.

Do Alison Courses Have a Refund Policy?

Yes, for the 0-100K program, Alison does have a refund policy.

You’re eligible for a refund if you request one 14 days after payment. Outside that 14-day period, you won’t get a refund.

One great thing about it, though, is that it’s straightforward and simple, which is something most programs online don’t have today.

Is Alison Courses Legit? My Personal Opinion Based My Own Alison Review

Now’s the moment when things get real and decisions matter.

So is Alison’s course legit? Yes, it is.

But is it worth investing in? No.

Now, I’m not saying no because you can’t make money from Alison’s courses; you can. You can also still make use of the Alison certificate you get at the end of the program.

The only downside is making money using dropshipping isn’t as easy as it seems. Also, there’s the issue that Alison does have other courses aside from 0-100k.

How many courses? She has two other platforms, and they are Pick Your Plum and HowDoesShe.

Both of these programs are e-commerce stores she handles alongside offering training for the 0-100k program. Now, while it’s possible to juggle multiple engagements, doing so as a guru might leave your students lacking in knowledge.

That’s something anyone who’s invested in an online program doesn’t want despite the fair Alison cost she has for her program.

My second issue is the fact that you’ll be spending eight hours or more trying to make your dropshipping business work.

That means going three months or more without making any money. There’s also the additional cost of marketing.

The extra cost will end up denting your finances and eventually leading you to debt.

I’d rather spend three months every two to three hours every day in a program that can help me build an income of $500-$2,000 every month.

Even better, you get to grow that income during your spare time, which is what makes it a great online business opportunity.

That program is Digital Rental Method.

All you need is some internet and a laptop.

Some of my friends are running their digital rental businesses from:

• A camper van while on the road

• Camping trips in National Parks

• A beachfront in Hawaii

With the Digital Rental Method, you get to live your life first and think of your income second.

You get to spend time with the people you love doing stuff love.

What’s Inside Alison’s Course

While Alison does have three courses, in this section, I’m going to focus on the 0-100K course.

So, what do you get once you pay for the 0-100K course?

You get access to a six-week course with weekly training modules. But you can learn at your own pace regardless of the time indication.

Module One: Business Set-up

You get to learn how to set up an LLC for your online business. It’s important to note that since Alison isn’t a tax lawyer, it would be wise to consult one even as you go through this module.

Module Two: Developing Your Brand

For this business model, students get access to three video training materials. You’ll have to narrow down on a particular niche, which will be helpful in monetizing your online store.

You’ll also get to design a logo and choose colors that would prick your target audience’s interest.

Module Three: Building Your Online Store

This part of the course might be the most time-consuming of all. Here Alison tackles how to build your business.

She covers everything from dealing with imports, distinguishing wholesalers and manufacturers, the entire project management, and discovering the right products.

Module Four: Selling The Products

This module covers everything you need to know about selling your products. Alison also provides you with a profit calculator you can use to find out your profit margins.

There’s also a section for product photography. You get to learn how good editing and lighting skills can help you sell great products.

Module Five: Where to Sell The Products

Now that you know how to market the products, the next step of this course is learning how to sell the products.

Alison teaches a broad selection of platforms students can use, like Facebook and Shopify.

Module Six: Launch Your Products and Site

With all the marketing details at your disposal, the last step is launching your site and products. Alison will show you the same way she used to grow her e-commerce business.

Module Seven: Shipping

Another module that will come in handy is the shipping course. This helps you know the different ways to ship your products faster and more efficiently.

Other modules you get access to include:

• Promoting your brand

• Growing your e-commerce business

Conclusion- To Buy or Not To Buy?

With everything that you know about Alison, is Alison’s certificate still worth it?

My answer is No.

While Alison might be a legit Ecom guru, the business model she advocates for might not make you any money.

Also, most of the information she provides is available completely free. So, why would you pay hundreds of dollars for totally free information?

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: the Digital Rental Method.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, the Digital Rental Method is for you.

Why?

1)Time: If you’ve got a spare hour or two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.

And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring.

That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world.

2) Ownership & Control: With dropshipping, you don’t actually own anything. You can’t control your product quality, or even what the package looks like when it shows up.

Technically you own your Shopify site… but ad platforms could shut you down on a moment’s notice… so you don’t really have much control there.

Why pour your soul into a business that could be taken away from you at the drop of a dime?

With the Digital Rental Method, you literally own all of the assets, which means you have ultimate control.

3) Fulfillment: Alright, so you don’t have any inventory… but that worry has been replaced with the pains of overseas fulfillment.

That means your customer is going to have to wait 3-4 weeks to receive their order.

Then add in the current global supply chain woes… and you’re looking at 5-6-7 weeks!

Then the customer slaps you with a refund, and all of that time spent testing and spending money on ads was for nothing.

You don’t have to worry about any of that when you’re renting out digital properties.

4) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you would need to sell twice as much inventory or double your profit margins. And I can guarantee you (from my shopify dropshipping days), that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

5) Big Margins: With dropshipping, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money. This usually entails spending A LOT of money on ads and other methods for growing traffic to your product.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

6) You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with dropshipping is that you’re usually finding some product that’s complete garbage and are tricking people into buying it. It provides no real value to them or to the world in general.

It’s cool in the short term to make a quick buck, but in the long-term, it gets really old, really fast. 

But with the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with.

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other dropshipping programs like the Alison J Prince program, which might make you money 12 months from now.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or a few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
