Alright, so for those of you that aren’t the reading type, let me just give you the key points here. Is BAM University / Digital Real Estate / Local Lead Generation a business model that we would even recommend to our readers?
100% Yes – the model is great.
Is the Bad Ass Marketers program the best local lead generation course out there?
It’s better than about 99% of them out there, so if you’re here looking for someone to say “it’s okay, go for it!”, then you have come to the right place.
They’re a legitimate company, that really help people build real businesses.
It’s basically like asking if you should buy an Audi or a BMW or a Mercedes… all are good luxury cars, so often it’s a matter of personal taste.
Joshua T. Osborne is known for having a… potty mouth – so if someone cursing every once in a while is going to trigger you, then maybe stay away.
But if you’re just interested in passive income and making money online, it’s as good a place as any to start the journey!
Josh is a legitimate business owner, with his own business, selling access to a legitimate business model… not some 16 year old telling you that you should feel bad for not owning a Lambo.
The only thing that I would say “isn’t great” about the program, is that I personally don’t like search engine optimization as a business, I tend to prefer the route of paid ads for a lead generation business, but that’s just me!
Either way, if digital real estate is what you fancy, this here is a good option!

Alright, so now we’re getting to the point in the article where we start breaking down some specifics. So let’s start with the 1,000 FT View of what’s on the inside.
Like I mentioned earlier, BAM / Bad Ass Marketers is course that teaches you the skillset of search engine optimization, with the intent of ranking a lead generation website to the top of a local market.
For example, building a concrete repair website, and ranking it to the top spot in Google.
From there, you put a little tracking phone number on the website, and then you send the phone calls to a local business in need.
Kinda like being super man, if only instead of X-Ray vision, it was the power of putting food on the table from a simple google search.
The program claims to help you build a $7-$10K per month passive income stream within 90 days of joining, assuming you actually stick to the process and what they teach.
Inside the bad ass marketers course, you’re gonna learn a whole ‘lot about how to do it all. Off & On Page SEO, creating a lead generation website, sales strategies, other systems to generate leads – all in all it’s a pretty comprehensive course.
It also comes with weekly coaching workshops to help you out if you’re struggling.
How Is it different from other lead generation courses?
Alright, so how is bad ass marketers different from the pack? Or is it different at all?
Based on our experience in the business, the mentorship and accountability in BAM University is next level when compared with other digital real estate programs.
The Facebook group where it all comes together is a huge value-add that you won’t get in other places.
My Personal Opinion
So most everything we’ve talked about so far is simple fact based on all the research I’ve done.
Now, I want to give you my opinion.
I’ve taken A LOT of courses and joined countless programs over the years, so what I’m about to say is founded in my personal experience.
When you decide to buy any program online – whether you’re shacking up with the affiliate marketers, getting into ecom, or anything other online training course, you want to look at few really important things:
- What’s the guru’s experience?
- What’s the support & mentorship look like?
- Is the community & guru still active in the business?
- Is there a lot of room to scale the business?
If you can really dig in and consider each of those, you’ll be in a good spot.
So let’s look at each component, and let me illustrate why I would recommend BAM:
- Josh owned his own moving company, and has run countless successful businesses outside of just BAM. That means he has legit real world knowledge
- A lot of other courses fail to give you a good sales process, but BAM’s is extraordinary
- Their official Facebook group has thousands of members
- BAM University has live workshop calls nearly every day of the week to help you
- Generating leads will never go away as a legit business need
In fact, the only real downsides I see to the program are:
- No real training on Google Ads
- No real training on Facebook Ads
- Not an actual alternative to physical real estate in my opinion (digital real estate just sounds cool)
I’ve actually seen inside of the BAM Facebook group personally!
That’s why I feel qualified writing this BAM Review.

Research Module
Most programs (whether we’re talking ads, FBA, ecom – you name it) fall short on Research, which is arguably the most important part. After all, if you don’t know where you’re aiming, can you really expect to hit a home run?
From what I’ve seen, Josh’s research methods and systems are pretty awesome.
He’s already getting ahead of the curve on all this AI stuff, and bringing the findings to his students – pretty awesome, and not a lot of gurus do that (they normally upsell you something else!)
Josh calls this process “finding low hanging fruit” & “knocking out 3rd graders” – meaning you want to find really easy wins to make easy money… makes sense to me – but please no knocking out children!
Website Development
Last I heard Josh partnered with his old mentor to bring his students a really easy drag and drop website builder. So you don’t need to really worry about knowing how to code or anything fancy like that.
That’s another big point of difference with other digital real estate programs – they teach you on some really outdated and hard to use platforms like WordPress – so watch out!
Josh takes you through the entire thing though, start to finish:
- Building your home pages
- Building all the services and location pages
- Getting the pictures for your website and knowing where to put them
- All the other goodies you need to rank the websites
On Page SEO
This is a module where a lot of the important stuff comes together – we’re starting to learn how to actually throw the punch that knocks out that proverbial third grader

I don’t wanna get too much into the weeds, but they cover everything – how to write content, optimize headlines, descriptions, all the important things you need to know how to do.
Again, he goes through all this stuff in detail, so you needn’t worry about a stone being left unturned!
Off Page SEO
Arguably the only thing more important than the content you put on the site is the off-page SEO! This basically means how you’re getting other people on the web to tell Google how important you are.
He teaches you all the nitty-gritty details you need to know, like:

Google My Business Listing
Another awesome little tool in the arsenal is called the GMB/GBP. Without boring you on the details, he shows you how to set those up and optimize them, too!
A lot of lead gen courses fall short in this category, so again it’s another check mark in the column for BAM.
Facebook Ads
Arguably the most lacking part of the training is how to generate leads with Facebook ads. Can’t hate him for this though, because it’s not the point of the course he’s selling!
Google Ads
See Facebook Ads critique above – he “technically” has Google Ads in his training, but it’s nothing to write home about, so I almost consider it not really there!
Six Steps Training
This is probably one of BAM’s biggest selling points – the sales process.
When a lot of people start a business, they’re afraid to sell. All they can picture is a greasy used car salesman.
Josh helps break you free from that approach, and has patented his own “Six Steps To Close” training. In fact it’s been so successful, other people have tried to steal it from him – go figure!
Conclusion On The Bad Ass Marketers Course
The final say: should you buy it, or should you keep searching?
In our opinion, it’s a pretty strong buy recommendation.
Between the thousands of successful (and documented) students, the in-depth training, the mentorship almost daily… what else could you be looking for in a program?
