Cory Long’s Digital Storefronts teaches you an online business model known as “lead generation.” In my personal opinion, this is probably the top business model out there.

While Digital Storefronts has its merits, it’s NOT my top recommendation if you’re interested in Lead Generation.

Our top program in the lead generation category is going to be Josh Osborne & Sean Kochel’s Digital Rental Method program.

The thing is: there’s a good way and a bad way to run a lead generation business.

The bad way is using outdated SEO tactics and sketchy “black-hat” Google My Business listings to send phone calls to local businesses.

This leaves you at the mercy of Google’s search algorithm updates, which has a history of ruining lead generation empires in a single day.

I have friends who have gone from $50K/mo in passive income to nearly $0 because their listings got suspended (and they never got them back!)

Every guru out there has “their secret method” to “ensure” Google doesn’t slap you down with a huge penalty. Well, I say good luck fighting a $200 billion per year tech giant.

The good way to do lead generation is building assets that YOU own while playing by the rules and giving companies like Google and Facebook what they desire most – relevancy.

What Are The Contents Of Cory Long’s Course?

• Introduction and Success Road Map

Every money-making online course starts with an introduction and motivational remarks.

Cory introduces the course and discusses its work and applicability. For this business to work, you must lend time to every client when you’re starting. Then once you get used to it, it’ll become routine.

He also discussed the processes and challenges of this business model and internet business in general.

• Module 1 – Finding the Perfect Locations

Cory starts the first module by telling you where your local lead generation business should be. We all know that this course teaches you how to get leads for local businesses, so the main focus is on high-cost service businesses in your area.

• Module 2 – Creating Digital Storefronts

This is a content-rich module where Cory shows you how to design your digital storefront and your clients’ lead-generation website. He uses WordPress as the platform for most of his lessons.

• Module 3 – Getting Ranked

This is where you will learn how to acquire free organic traffic to your Digital Storefront website with free SEO. Local lead generation has low competition, even for high-competition keywords.

Cory also mentions free strategies to rank your website depending on the keyword search terms your potential clients use to find your website and services.

• Module 4 – Quick Lead Methods.

Paid traffic and social media hacks are two quick lead techniques to generate leads for your clients. This is accomplished by directing potential leads to a landing page of your Digital Storefront via paid online advertising.

• Module 5 – Finding and Closing Deals.

Cory explains several tactics for finding clients in your local region in this module, which focuses exclusively on getting consumers for your lead generation business. In my opinion, a business that serves a purpose and contributes to the greater good is a fantastic source of motivation for me.

My Final Thoughts

I think Cory Long is good at what he does, and his program works, but in the digital world, it’s a given that you’ll get some criticism and negative comments.

And it’s natural to be skeptical at first, especially if you’ve seen negative feedback about him online. You can always check to see if those claims are true or not.

Also, after doing some additional research, I discovered that Cory learned the local lead generation skills he teaches in his course from another lead generation group. He was also kicked out from the group for secretly selling his services to other students. Yikes!

All in all, I believe that this video course on the local lead generation model is average. Although it covers all you need to know, there are far better courses than digital storefronts available.

Is Cory Long’s Digital Storefronts A Scam?

Alright, time for the $1,000,000 question: is Digital Storefronts actually a scam?

No, it’s not a scam, technically speaking. They aren’t going to take your money and run off, leaving you empty-handed. It’s actually a halfway decent lead generation course.

It’s just not my top choice.

The Digital Rental Method program is unique. They give you over 30 proven templates (ad copy, targeting, keywords, exact landing pages, etc.) so that you can hit the ground running.

The people that run the program actually have an agency that does 7-figures per year, which is a major advantage over most other lead generation courses.

Think about it: what if you could put in a few hours of work each day (whenever you feel like it), and you were rewarded with a recurring $500-$2,000 payment for each site you put up?

And what if it only took you a week or two to get that first payment?

And what if you could double or triple that payment over the following month or two?

That’s what you get when you’re a Digital Landlord.

All you really need is a laptop and some internet.

Some of my friends are Digital Rental Method that run their 6-figure businesses from:
