The ENTRE Institute program mainly covers three types of business models. These business models include running digital agencies, affiliate marketing training, and creating online courses.

If you’ve read other Center For Work Life blogs, you know I’m all for these business models, since you can actually make money with them. Jeff Lerner also uses the same argument when promoting the ENTRE Institute.

While you can make money with them, my main issue is that he tries to make it look too easy. He isn’t upfront about the challenges you’ll encounter with each of these business models. So, let’s take a look at what each business model offers.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate programs – like Low Hanging Systems – sell you a big dream. They try to convince you that you can run a successful online store without worrying about inventory, shipping, and customer service.

The best part is that you can do it anywhere in the world! But is it that easy? Well, not quite. You’ll need to tackle some challenges to make money with affiliate marketing. One big challenge, especially with ENTRE Institute, is figuring out how to stand out from other ENTRE Institute affiliates.

One of the affiliate marketing strategies the ENTRE Institute teaches is showing students how to market the program itself. It’s the reason why most of the reviews you’ll find online sound too biased, as most are pushing you to buy the ENTRE blueprint course.

To stand out from the crowd, you’ll have to know how to drive traffic, which leads me to the next course the ENTRE Institute teaches, Digital Agencies.

Digital Agencies

While ENTRE Institute does teach about digital agencies, it doesn’t show the hard work that goes into it. Jeff Lerner doesn’t show you the different moving parts that come from successfully running a digital agency.

But here’s the thing: while these strategies may have worked a few years ago, the online business world keeps changing. Also, the “rinse and repeat” digital agency templates are proving to be less effective than they used to be.

Also, running a digital agency isn’t passive; it’s almost a full-time job. Imagine running one while still trying to market the program and sign up new members for a commission; that sounds like a tough job already.

Online Courses

The next business model this program teaches is how to create online courses. While creating a course may help you make money, look at programs like BNB Formula; it certainly isn’t as easy as Jeff Lerner wants you to think.

With this logic, it might take years before you see an ROI on the course you create.

If you think this is worse, imagine combining all these three programs into one business model. With the flaws I’ve talked about, that’s just a recipe for disaster. If your goal is to create a passive income, just know that this is going to be a full-time job with half the pay.

Like many entrepreneurs, Jeff Lerner had a tough beginning. He tried a career in music and even opened a restaurant, but things didn’t go as well as he hoped. There was a time when Jeff was also in debt, and that was one of the lowest points in his career.

My answer is, he’s just not my personal choice. Jeff Lerner’s program, ENTRE Institute, teaches online business models you can use to make money. But, when it comes to its reputation, things are a bit complicated.

Before I can discuss Jeff Lerner and the ENTRE Blueprint program, I’d like us to take a few steps back. The minute you finally decide to take an online course, there are several aspects you’d look at other than just the reviews.

Some of the things I’d look at include:

• The Guru’s reputation: Does Jeff Lerner have a great reputation? What’s his real-world experience with the online business model he teaches in ENTRE blueprint?
• The Value of the videos, templates, and bonuses: Are the videos Jeff Lerner offers in his ENTRE blueprint and other programs valuable? Are the affiliate marketing strategies being taught by Jeff Lerner sustainable?
• Availability of coaching or a community: Making money online is tough, and you’ll need an expert or a group of people to guide you and help you stand on your own two feet.
• The honesty of the program? Is ENTRE blueprint honest about the upsells the ENTRE Institute has?

Now, the negatives:

1. When it comes to Jeff Lerner’s reputation, it’s complicated. On the one hand, he’s a legit life coach with great entrepreneurial success and several successful online businesses. On the flip side, Jeff Lerner does have a reputation for promoting MLM programs. Some programs he was associated with, like Wealth Masters International, were shut down.
2. The ENTRE Institute has some upsells they don’t tell you about upfront. ENTRE Blueprint is usually the introduction to Jeff Lerner’s ENTRE Institute. While this program only costs $39, it advertises itself as an introductory version of the program, which is far from the truth. According to this reviewer, the ENTRE blueprint is a sales pitch for the other programs.

Jeff Lerner isn’t honest about some of the program’s upsells. You’ll have to complete one to access another at a higher price.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, there’s more to affiliate marketing than simply selling products. You’ll also need to generate traffic, which is hard to do. It means you’ll have to be good at:

• Crafting compelling ads
• Executing Facebook and Google ad campaigns
• Creating engaging website blogs
• Ranking your website
• Converting the people who visit your site

That’s just a portion of all the responsibilities you’ll need to handle. If you’re going to invest your time and money in all these skills, why not do it with a business you actually own? With affiliate marketing, you don’t own the products, and a lot of time and effort goes into selling those products.

That’s just a lot of work with no real guarantee of success

Don’t get me wrong, I really think it’s great to work hard now and reap the benefits later. But if all I’m doing is pouring my blood and sweat into a business that barely makes me money 3-6 months down the line, it isn’t worth it.
