First, let me acknowledge that David is a legit Ecommerce guru. He definitely knows his stuff, and that’s something the tutorials on his YouTube channel clearly indicate.

The program is also customized using the strategies he used to run a successful Amazon FBA business.

While he does have great success running his business, here’s why I said wouldn’t recommend the program.

For one, the Ecom Dave program purely focuses on the Amazon FBA business model.

Amazon FBA tries to market itself as a shiny, glittery potion promising to solve all your money-making troubles with a flick of a wand.

Sure, you’ll sell stuff, but what most people fail to realize is that once you take a sip, you end up finding yourself tangled up in a web you can’t escape.

That’s because this business model comes with lots of pitfalls you can’t see until you decide to test the water.

Some of the pitfalls include:

• Inventory Chaos: One huge headache for Amazon sellers is inventory management. You’ll mostly have to deal with inventory delay, especially if most of it is sitting in the receiving dock. There’s also the issue of lost inventory, which can be a hard blow to your finances since you paid for products you won’t get to sell.
• Control: Running an Amazon FBA business is like being a third-party salesperson for Amazon. When Amazon sends out your stuff, it’s all wrapped up in boxes with their name plastered on them. While you’re making money, you’re still helping Jeff Bezos buy a new yacht.
• Time: No one opens an Amazon FBA business and, right off the bat, starts to make money. It takes time to even earn $500 from this type of business. You’re in for at least three solid months of trying, failing, and testing before you even see a single dollar in your pocket. And brace yourself because breaking even might not happen until six months or longer down the road.

Lastly, finding the right, trendy products isn’t easy. What’s trendy today isn’t going to be the go-to product tomorrow.

That’s a whole lot of hassle to go through to make money online.

It’s finally time to answer the $100000 question: Is there an Ecom Dave scam?

Well, from the reviews I’ve seen Ecom Dave is certainly a legit guru. He’s run a successful Amazon FBA business, and that does give the e com dave some credibility.

But does that mean you should invest in this Amazon FBA academy program?

My answer is still no.

If you going to pay $4K for coaching, I’d rather you pay it in a program that will actually help you make money online.

Amazon FBA is still a business model where very few people make money online. And with Ecom Dave’s FBA academy focusing fully on this business model, you’re simply setting yourself up for failure.
