But before you jump to any conclusions as to why I said No, let’s get a few things clear. One, I think the Lightning Reselling program is an actual legit course, and you can make money from it. There’s also a huge community, which is a plus as you’ll get the help you need to navigate the Amazon FBA business.

While it might sound easy in theory, in reality, you’re more likely to run into quite a few challenges. The Amazon FBA business wants you to believe you can make money without working too hard.

The idea of escaping the world of 9 to 5 might seem tempting. However, I wouldn’t rush into this program just yet. Making money with the Amazon FBA business isn’t just waiting for people to buy your stuff. It involves a whole lot more. There’s a lot that goes into the entire process.

1. Inventory Management: One promise Amazon FBA makes is that you don’t have to worry about inventory, as Amazon takes care of packing, shipping, and customer care.

But they don’t tell you that you still need to get your products to the Amazon warehouse. This is where the real challenge starts. Amazon has strict guidelines that all sellers must follow to get their products in the warehouse. This includes anything from box size to registration and packaging.

Failure to meet these restrictions will result in your products being returned to you. If that happens, you’ll still have to pay for the delivery fees on top of what you paid to have your products delivered to the warehouse.

While you can pay an Amazon prep center to manage your inventory, you must be ready to share your profits.

2. Product Selection: E-commerce businesses are a bit like fast fashion. What’s hot today might not be trendy tomorrow. This means always finding the next big air fryer accessory to keep your product selling.

On top of that, many folks don’t realize that if you keep lots of things stored for a long time with Amazon, they’ll charge you a bunch and might even slap you with penalties.

You’ll also be in a constant rat race trying to find trendy products to sell. That struggle can take away the time you’d rather spend chilling, going on vacation, or hanging out with the people you love.

3. Cash Flow: While Amazon FBA pays out every two weeks, a lot of upfront costs go into the entire profit.

First, you’ll have to pay for the products you sell, and most manufacturers will expect a 25% upfront payment. Then comes the shipping and customs clearance, all of which require money. So, before you can see a single dollar from all that effort, it could take anywhere between 4 to 12 weeks.

And that’s always not a guarantee.

Try to think of running an Amazon FBA business like juggling eggs. Most of us can get away with juggling two eggs, but as an Amazon FBA seller, you’ll have to take on more to make money. The more eggs you juggle (inventory), the higher the risk of a messy situation.

If I got a nickel every time someone asked this question, I’d probably be on Jeff Bezos’s speed dial. So, let’s get right to it.

Is Lightning Reselling legit? Yes, it is. According to the Lightning Reselling reviews I’ve gone through, you can make money from this course. My main concern about the program is the business model.

But is the program worth your investment? No!

While you can make money from the program, it isn’t as easy as KT Hustles paints it to be. There’s a lot of upfront work you’ll need to be put in to make the program work. And even if you work hard, it doesn’t always mean you’ll make money right away.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m all for hard work. But when the money I make doesn’t match up well with the effort I put in, I’d rather do something else.

I’d instead put my blood and sweat into a program that gives me a great return. That program is Digital Landlord. The cool part about this program is that you can make $500 to $2,000 checks every month within less than three months (I know people who have personally done it within two weeks).

Also, unlike running an Amazon FBA business, you can do it anywhere. All you need is a laptop and the Internet. Some of my friends are running their businesses from:

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

• I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
• I’ve drop-shipped a toilet-bowl putting green on Shopify

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: being a Digital Landlord.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, becoming a Digital Landlord is for you.

3) Big Margins: With FBA, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money. This usually entails spending A LOT of money on ads and other methods for growing traffic to your product.

You’ll also have to wait at least 12 months to see a return on your investment. That’s a long time.

Best case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot4) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with Amazon FBA, you would need to sell twice as much inventory, or double your profit margins. And I can guarantee you (from my fidget-spinner FBA days), that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

5) You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with Amazon sellers is that you’re basically only helping yourself. The world doesn’t need another B.S. gadget to consume.

It’s cool in the short term to make a quick buck, but in the long-term, it gets really old, really fast.

But when you’re a Digital Landlord, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

We’re not helping Jeff Bezos shoot another rocket into space – you’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other FBA programs like Lightning Reselling, which might make you money 12 months from now.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
