Scaling School Review (Updated 2024): What’s Ravi Abuvala Up To Now?

Updated On: March 19, 2024

Welcome to my Scaling School review. My goal is to answer common questions like: how much it costs, if it's a scam, and if you can actually make money with it. The end goal is to help you understand if it's a good fit for you personally, and if there are any better alternatives out there.
scaling school review

This Scaling School review has been throughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

Ravi Abuvala is known as the “business growth” guru, helping existing coaches scale their companies and free up their time.

But can he help you?

Chances are, you’ve landed here after being hit with one of his ads on social media, and now the algorithm has you all figured out.

No matter how you got here, you want to find out if Ravi Abuvala is the real deal.

I gotta admit, separating the wheat from the chaff is difficult. It’s probably one of the biggest mistakes I’ve seen from beginners: choosing the wrong guru to learn from.

That said, I’ve written hundreds of reviews on programs, and I can quickly spot the green and red flags.

So, what I’ll do is help you figure out what the heck “business scaling” actually means and whether it’s a good fit for you.

Think of this as the only Scaling School review you’ll need.

Alright, slip into your cozy pajamas, crack open a White Claw, and let me spoon-feed you all the info you need when it comes to Ravi Abuvala.

Summary

Scaling School is a program that gives you a wide range of templates and scripts to help automate your business. The course has very little actual teaching and mostly cookie-cutter SOPs to follow. I’m also worried about some reports that question his involvement with the coaching in his program, forcing me to dock a couple of points on his mentorship.

What I liked
Assuming you already have a successful coaching business, Ravi's automation program can help free your time. That way, you're not spending all day cold emailing or cold calling trying to set appointments.
Ravi generated 7 figures with business automation, so you know he's got the chops to at least do it himself.
Scaling School provides a ton of templates you can follow, so you don't have to start from scratch.
What I Didn’t Like
Across the internet, there are a handful of alarming reviews, like this one, that complain about the sly sales tactics used by his team. This makes me question his moral compass.
There are also claims that Ravi doesn't honor his refunds, meaning there's a chance he might just ride off into the sunset with your money. Maybe it'll fuel his next private jet ride.
Ravi focuses on how to scale your coaching business but not how to start one, so beginners should look elsewhere.

TLDR – What’s The Verdict On Scaling School?

What's The Verdict On Scaling School?

So, should you join Scaling School?

Woah, slow down their tiger. I personally wouldn’t pay for Scaling School.

First, let’s give Ravi his flowers. He does pull back the curtains and gives you access to his $10M+ sales funnel. That along with email and text message scripts…

So you get a glimpse of the “machine” that’s helped him build his own coaching business.

But that’s why his advertising is so darn puzzling to me.

All of his ads seem to target beginners, yet his programs are tailored for experienced online coaches.

So unless you’re a coach already making $10k to $20k per month, Scaling School isn’t for you.

It’s kinda like taking an 8-year-old and putting them into AP Calculus. Learn to walk before you run.

Scaling School teaches you how to automate an already successful business.

But…

If you’re still trying to quit your 9 to 5 and you haven’t had much success with any business model, then it’s better to close the book on Ravi.

Automation has a few perks, but the bad far outweighs the good, in my opinion.

For starters, you must:

  • Have a world-class offer that people want to pay for.
  • Already have paying customers who love your coaching program.
  • Spend a lot of time building your personal brand by posting YouTube videos in hopes of driving people to your sales call.

While automation isn’t a bad thing, it’s not something a beginner should do. If you’re wet behind the ears when it comes to all this make money online thing, I have a better suggestion..

My favorite way for beginners to make money online is the Digital Rental Method.

No matter your current experience level, everyone starts from square one. With this method, you learn the fundamentals of Facebook ads, Google ads, sales training, and much more.

In fact, the training is so good that you’ll probably be an expert at it pretty fast..

But rather than become a coach where you’re selling to everyday consumers (who don’t have a lot of disposable income), you’re selling to local businesses that have the funds to pay for your services, whether that be a car mechanic, roofing contractor, or realtor.

You leverage your newfound digital marketing skills to bring them more paying customers.

When they see their business is flooded with new customers and their bank accounts have extra zeros, they’re happy to open your checkbooks to pay you a cut.

Just a few clients, and you could be making upwards of $10,000+.

Then, if you truly want to start a coaching business and scale, maybe Ravi’s automation program could help.

But for now, I recommend you check out Digital Rental Method instead.

Who Benefits From Scaling School…And Who Is It Wrong For?

Who Benefits From Scaling School...And Who Is It Wrong For?

Most people who are reading this fall under a few camps. If this is you, there’s a chance that Ravi Abuvala can help..

  1. You’ve had success with Scaling With Systems and want to see what else Ravi has to offer.
  2. You have a thriving coaching biz but still spend time on low-level tasks like appointment setting. You want a way out and believe Ravi’s got the secret sauce when it comes to automation.

That said, if you fall into these categories, then it’s probably best to stay away from Scaling School and just look for greener pastures..

  1. You’re put off by some of the horror stories out there about customers getting ripped off.
  2. You don’t think it’s ethical to exploit VAs for extremely low wages to build your business.
  3. You rather invest in a program (kinda like this one) where the instructor is heavily involved in helping their students succeed.

Scaling School is an automation program designed to take your coaching biz to the next level.

Basically, Ravi wrote down all the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in his company, wrapped it up with a nice little ribbon, and slapped a $2k price tag on it.

He’s really selling templates for all of his internal processes, which include:

  • Client avatar worksheets
  • His $10M sales funnel
  • Copywriting templates
  • Email and text scripts

But here’s the problem.

What works for him may not work for you.

Ravi has advantages you may not have.

For one, the man is a smooth talker. He’s a salesman in the class of guys like Cole Gordon, Jordan Belfort, and Dan Lok.

Templates are great and all, but that should be the side dish, not the main course.

The best programs I know (like Digital Rental Method) focus on teaching you the actual skills so that you know how to apply them directly to your specific business.

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Also, from what I can tell, Ravi isn’t showing up to all of his coaching calls (as shown in the screenshot above), while his prices keep creeping up.

Who Is Ravi Abuvala?

Ravi remains popular as a lead generation guru

Ravi Abuvala is one of those young entrepreneurial sensations. In 2016, he launched his first lead generation training program, Prospect Social, helping real estate agents get more leads.

In 2019, he built Scaling with Systems to generate qualified appointments for coaches and provide virtual assistants to interested clients. Now, he’s built a Scaling School to share his templates.

AreaScoreDescription
Time Investment4/5The best thing about automation is the time it saves you.
Level of Control2/5Relying on Virtual Assistants will cost you control.
Ease of Implementation3/5Easy enough to learn, but will require some extra management over your new hires.
Profit Potential3/5Harder to make profits with added labor expenses.

How Much Does Scaling School Cost?

should you book his industry-famous onboarding call

Scaling School costs $1,997 per year.

But being the marketer he is, he puts up $167 per month, with tiny words that say “billed annually.”

Scaling School Refund Policy

scaling school refund policy

While Ravi’s sales page explicitly advertises a 15-day refund policy, the terms and conditions page says otherwise.

This also coincides with some customers having trouble getting their money back.

Someone has to hold his feet to the fire when it comes to this stuff..Because that’s just not cool.

Personal Opinion On Scaling School

Personal Opinion On Scaling School

Alright, it’s time for the moment of truth. Is Scaling School a scam?

It’s hard to tell.

Depending on which students you ask, you’ll get a revolving door of answers.

While I can’t definitively say he’s a scam, I can say that Ravi is filled with controversy.

His big promise is that he’ll help you book hundreds of appointments and you work 4 hours a week or less!

Wow, sign me up right?!

I gotta give him credit; he’s a master magician. There’s a reason why magicians never reveal their secrets because when you find out, you feel robbed.

Well turns out…

Across all of his programs, Ravi charges a ransom for his backend VA services, while the VA’s cost him pennies on the dollar. One redditor says, he charges 7.5k for his VA services, while only paying them $250 per month.

Ravi VA controversy

So if he’s hiring cheap VAs, you’re likely getting low-quality services, too.

Again, it’s another case of looking at the guru’s actions rather than his words.

His words say he can help you automate your business.

In reality, following his actions doesn’t sound like an effective (or ethical) strategy.

I would put my money somewhere where I know I can trust the instructor to honor his grand promises and not feel bamboozled.

Even if all this isn’t true, it’s hard to turn the other way when there seems to be controversy wherever he goes.

If you want to learn from a reliable instructor who actually cares for his students and has their best interests at heart, my personal recommendation is the Digital Rental Method.

I’ve gone through this program myself and have seen firsthand all of the lives that were changed. (Believe me, I’m not an affiliate either, just a gal looking to share my experience.)

Students in the program went from soul-sucking 9 to 5’s with zero experience to basically self-made six-figure entrepreneurs in a few months.

Unlike Scaling School, which only offers generic templates with no real mentorship, the Digital Rental Method offers practical training.

And if you need to air out your concerns, the instructors are there to help you out with weekly live calls. That way, you never feel stuck or alone.

As I said earlier, there have been many complaints about Ravi leaving his students high and dry, and that’s just something that I can’t stand.

With this program, you’re truly developing lifelong friendships with people who are there with you every step of the way.

Earning money is cool and all. And believe me, many of the students here make a lot of it.. But what’s fun about making money if you don’t have people to share your success with?

If this sounds like the type of program you want to consider, you may want to check out the Digital Rental Method.

What’s Inside Scaling School?

whats inside scaling school

Scaling School is only 10 hours long, which doesn’t exactly live up to the $2k price tag, in my opinion.

The program features three parts:

  1. Optimize the offer: Craft your client avatar so you attract the right people.
  2. Build the machine: Here, you’ll build the sales funnel, emails, text messages, and other upsells. You’ll also get a team of VAs and salespeople to handle all the backend.
  3. Launch paid ads: This is where he teaches you how to turn on the firehose by running Facebook ads to your funnel.

That being said, you could probably learn the gist of this on YouTube for free. What’s really missing is the mentorship and accountability to implement these trainings.

Conclusion Of My Scaling School Review

Conclusion Of My Scaling School Review

Should you fork over your hard-earned Benjamins to Ravi Abuvala?

I wouldn’t.

Ravi has a silver tongue and talks a big game, I’ll give him that.

But Scaling School seems like one big tease before you’re upsold to the grand-daddy offer.

That means the program leaves much to be desired.

Instead, why not join one strong program that has it all? That way you stop wasting time and get to living life on your terms.

Who knows, maybe you’ll be working from the beaches one day, with some of the other students from Digital Rental Method

What’s My #1 Way To Make Money In 2024?

What's My #1 Way To Make Money In 2024?

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I have an actual lead generation business
  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve tried scaling my coaching company, only to feel like I was trapped as an employee in my own business.

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down the Digital Rental Method.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, then the Digtial Rental Method is for you.

Why?

Did Scaling School Make The List?

1)Time commitment: If you have an hour or two per day, you can do this. Even if you want to drop everything and commit fully, that works, too.

You don’t have to be constantly working to make money. The income you generate is recurring.

Imagine taking off for a month to places like Hawaii, Paris, National Parks, & other spots people only dream about – all while collecting dozens of little $500-$2,000 checks. It’s like a dream come true.

But it’s only possible to do it when you’ve separated your income from your time.

When you’re trying to scale a coaching business, there’s one thing you can’t automate: YOU.

Ravi conveniently leaves out that you still need to run coaching calls, actively monitor Facebook groups, and answer private messages 24/7.

2) Complete control: You completely control everything, which means no one can take your business away from you.

This is a huge difference from automating a coaching business since you’re at the mercy of social media platforms that own your audience.

If Zuckerberg wakes up on the wrong side of bed, he might just snap a finger and change how the algorithm works.

3) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

4) Great Margins:

With the Digital Rental Method, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.

When automating a coaching business, you may have high profit margins, but you also need to sell high-ticket offers. But that’s hard to do when you’re selling to the everyday consumer on fitness programs (or whatever else), they don’t have a lot of disposable income lying around to invest in your offer.

Lead generation helps you land high-paying clients, so you only new a handful of them to make a comfortable living.

5) You’re Helping REAL People: With the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other lead generation programs like Scaling School, which might work out.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or a few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people who need it.
