Tecademics Review (2023): Digital Marketing Program That Really Works?

Chances are you’ve come across the Tecademics website and want to learn more about it.

Then you’re in luck! You’ve found the perfect place since this is the most up-to-date review of Tecademics you’ll discover anywhere.

Tecademics has gone through several changes since it was founded in 2016, which includes Chris Record’s departure.

Chris was Tecademics’ founder.

Most of the reviews you’d find online are based on the company’s old system, which is why the information on their reviews and the current website don’t match.

But before I get into the details, let me just say that I’m not affiliated in any way with Tecademics. My goal here is to give you an honest review to help you decide if it’s worth your money and time.

I’m going to review multiple aspects of Tecademics that you won’t find in other Tecademics reviews to decide if it really is the best internet marketing training course out there.

I’m talking about whether Tecademics is the right internet marketing course for you.

Alright, so Tecademics doesn’t exactly fit into a nice category.

At the end of the day, internet marketing is a… unique way to think about making money.

It’s certainly possible to make money with off-the-wall businesses like this, but unless you’re interested in taking years out of your life to experiment on an unproven business model, I would look elsewhere.

My #1 personal recommendation if we’re talking about starting a fully-online business has got to be the Lead Generation & Ad Agency business models.

There are a handful of programs that teach you the ropes, but my #1 choice that combines both of those business models into one is the Digital Rental Method program

But, if you’re hard-pressed to jump head-first into an off-the-wall business model, let’s continue on to my full breakdown of Tecademics.

Tecademics Review Summary

Best For: Internet marketing newbies or anyone who wants to develop their skills in the internet marketing business. The catch is you’ve got to be in Arizona!

Summary: Tecademics has a physical campus in Arizona and functions as an internet marketing college aiming to teach various online money-making schemes. Currently, no online courses are being offered.

To participate in their program, you will be required to fly to Arizona. They do have a comprehensive course outline, but sadly, the expensive tuition fees and location make it impossible for most prospective students to join.

Rating: 85/100

Recommended: Yes (only if you’re in Arizona, USA., or if you’re willing to travel.)

What Is Tecademics, The “Internet Marketing College” And Chris Record?

Until their official August 2016 release, they went by that name in the industry. The phrase “Tecademics” is an amalgamation of the words “Technology” and “Academics.”

It’s a resource for learning about online marketing of any kind.

Since its campus is situated in North Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, locals and visitors refer to it as a college.

Their website features several videos and photos of their students in classrooms and different areas on campus. This is part of their marketing scheme to promote themselves as the best college and provider of internet marketing training.

Here’s The Story…

Today, traditional schools don’t show students they earn money online or the actual expertise and skills needed for effective internet marketing.

Furthermore, there are many “gurus” out there who are always introducing “make money online programs.”

You won’t also find a fully reliable training system that works for everyone. As a result, Chris Record, the founder, established Tecademics in 2016 as the only College that provides students with real knowledge and skills for making money online.

To make this a reality, he collaborated with a number of internet marketing experts who have raked up millions of dollars online, including PhDs, to create a program or a system that would disrupt the industry.

The Outdated Tecademics Info

As was previously indicated, Tecademics has seen considerable evolution since its inception.

Thus, there’s a lot of information regarding Tecademics that are no longer up to date. I’ll list a few of them here:

1. Core Products

If you’ve come stumbled upon old Tecademics reviews, you will find that they were marketing four major products:

1. TEC – The Entrepreneur Club ($100/month)
2. IMPACT – Internet Marketing Principles And Core Training ($2,000)
3. MASTERS ($10,000)
4. ELITE

These items are no longer available, so getting in-depth with them is not gonna help you.

In their current and updated curriculum are the “16 individual success paths,” which I’ll go through below.

2. Business Model

Tecademics once operated a multi-level affiliate network, the business model equivalent of multi-level marketing.

They devised a payment plan to encourage people to promote their products. In addition, there would be a wide variety of rewards for members who announced any of the four main brands.

They seem to have discarded today the entire affiliate program/ MLM business model.

I believe this is a wise decision as it avoids the usual MLM pitfalls and focuses more on developing their program courses.

3. Lesson Structure

Those who could not travel to Arizona for a lecture could once use Tecademics’ online classes. But they’ve halted that, too.

You can’t join Tecademics, purchase anything, or even find the membership price on their website. They only provide you with the necessary course material.

If you wish to register in any of their classes, you must first contact them by emailing them.

4. The CEO Of The Company

Unfortunately, two years after the company’s start, its creator Chris Record opted to leave the company and was succeeded by Jim Piccolo.

Chris’s departure seems to be related to disagreements over the direction of Tecademics.

Chris was the backbone of Tecademics, which is why I said this is sad news. He’s a highly successful, seasoned internet marketer, which former students loved. The responses from students are overwhelming.

There are three courses in every “path:” Foundational Courses, Core Courses, and Tactical Courses.

The Sprint Course and the Optional Course are the two additional courses. They are essentially the simplified version that offers extra but optional lectures.

The “Drone Pilot Path,” for example, has such distinct courses as shown below.

The Tecademics Affiliate Program

The affiliate marketing scheme that Tecademics offers you a fantastic chance to make money. Getting started as an affiliate marketer costs you nothing. There’s a 40% compensation structure on all sales, which you and your recruiter may share.

Can You Really Make Money With Tecademics?

There’s a lot that comes along with Affiliate Marketing that many people struggle with.

Now, don’t get me wrong…

You can certainly make money with Affiliate Marketing, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Tecademics Pro & Cons

The Good

1. Great Company Mission

It’s great that the company wants to teach people how to make money online and is planning to open a college. Yes, there may be traditional schools that offer classes in certain aspects of internet marketing, but they aren’t taught by those making money off it.

Professors understand the principle, which can quickly become obsolete in today’s digital world, but they lack practical skills.

Going to college doesn’t guarantee you’ll get rich.

2. Wide Range Of In-Depth Courses

Tecademics works as a college, offering several courses about various topics, not just one.  The course outline is comprised of  16 “success paths” and 71 different lectures in total.

Most notably, all these are designed and taught by instructors who are experts in their respective fields.

3. Reputable Founder

Chris Record, Tecademics’ founder, has a track record to show off. Though he left the company, his genius didn’t. That’s why the current management maintains the vision and mission he founded before he left Tecademics.

Chris was the top earner for the now-defunct Empower Network MLM company. 

He had also successfully released a range of digital products, including Dark Post Profit.

He owns a membership software called the “Smart Member.”

Digging into his track record didn’t disappoint at all.

4. It’s A Physical School.

Tecademics is different from any other online marketing course available today. The institution has an entire campus in the Grand Canyon State.

5. Awesome Networking Opportunities

If you can join their classes in Arizona, you’ll be able to meet and network with many entrepreneurs from all over the world.

You might be sitting next to a 6 or 7-figure earner in the same classroom. This is an extremely awesome and unique opportunity to meet like-minded people.

If you’re lucky enough, you can even meet your future business partners.

This is something that we can’t enjoy if we just learn online instead of attending a real class.

The Bad

1. You Must Travel To Arizona.

They appear to have discontinued the online courses, so your only option as a student of their program is to actually be physically present on their campus, which is pretty much why I mentioned you need to be in Arizona or anywhere in the US.

They want to create more campuses worldwide, but that’s not going to happen in the foreseeable future.

2. High Tuition Fee (Exclude Your Business Cost)

Interestingly, the prices of the courses are not disclosed on their website. To find out more, you must email them.

But based on their previous products, the tuition fee was valued at $10K.

This is, of course, not a surprise anymore because it operates as a full-fledged physical campus, so obviously, it’s gonna be expensive.

But it’s still a lot less expensive, for sure, than a regular college tuition fee.

Aside from that, I’d like to point out that you also need to know how much you’ll need to get started with your own online business.

Consequently, if you’re thinking of taking their course, you’ll need to factor in the costs of starting one.

3. You Need To Know What You Want To Do.

Finally, Tecademics won’t really be of much help when deciding which career path to take.

Instead, they are more focused on teaching the required knowledge and skills to succeed in whichever career you might pursue.

It’s the same process as applying to a regular college – you decide first what you want to learn, then pick the college you wish to go to.

Are There Alternatives To Tecademics?

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:

• MLM
• Dropshipping
• Crypto
• Real Estate
• Sales

Is Tecademics A Scam?

Time for the $1,000,000 question: is Tecademics actually a scam?

I wouldn’t technically call it a scam, though others might.

It’s technically possible to make money with this program, so in that sense, it isn’t a scam.

What I’m saying is: after buying, someone will, in fact, send you a login to a website where you can actually view their material. No one is riding off into the sunset with your money, leaving you empty-handed… technically speaking.

But the second, more important question is: is Tecademics actually worth the investment?

My honest answer is that for most people out there, probably not.

There are countless other business models that are proven & easily scalable, so why risk it for… not an incredibly huge payoff?

I’d rather have a program with thousands of successful students & plenty of room for others to join.

If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know I recommend a few different programs depending on your skills & goals.

My current top choice is using the Digital Rental Method because you have a proven, systematic path to 6-figures, and you can do it from anywhere you want.

I’ve got friends in there that are posting deals from the middle of the woods in a camper van with their pet pig… which is kinda cool.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2023?

Alright, time for me to get real with my lovely readers for a moment:

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

• I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
• I’ve drop-shipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
• I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true, because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by stuff like Tecademics.

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

I’m not saying Tecademics itself is a piece of trash, I’m just saying you need to be very, very careful.

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.

There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is the Digital Rental Method program.

Why? It has proven leaders with their own 7-figure businesses implementing exactly what they teach you.

I’ve also got over a dozen personal friends in there, so I feel comfortable telling you it works.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, their program works.

1)Time: If you’ve got a spare hour or two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with internet marketing, you would need to exert time and effort. And I can guarantee you, that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with internet marketing is that you’re basically only helping yourself.

But With the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off-the-wall business models like internet marketing and maybe hit it big one day.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
