Imagine eating a pizza WITHOUT the cheese.

I mean, can you even call it a pizza?!

If I wanted to make the best pizza, I’d want all the ingredients. Give me the tomato sauce, parmesan, pepperoni slices, onions, mushrooms, fresh basil, smoked sausage, and anything else a pizza should have…

To drive home my point, let’s go over all the things Shawn is missing in his program:

• How to create digital assets, like a website or landing page
• How to rank and rent your site
• How to find clients
• Messaging scripts and templates
• A proven sales process to close deals
• Organic methods to drive leads
• Paid traffic methods besides Google ads

Those are just a few off the top of my head.

By only running Google PPC campaigns, you’re limited to one way of doing things. If Google changes its algorithms (like it always does), your business could fall apart faster than a house of cards.

His programs have a 7-day money-back guarantee, so you can kick the tires and see if it’s worth your time.

Are Shawn Joshi’s Programs Legit?

Now let’s answer the million-dollar question;

Is Shawn Joshi, and his programs legit?

Well, the answer is YES!

Even though we have little information about Shawn Joshi on the internet, the guy seems pretty much legit.

He claims that he has helped many local businesses with Google Business Profile optimization. Digital marketers and owners of small businesses alike have used his programs.

They’ve been able to help local businesses appear in local searches and local rankings. Thus helping them to find more customers.

However, it’s not my #1 way of making money online.

How Shawn Joshi’s Programs Are Different From Other Programs

Let’s take a closer look at how Shawn Joshi’s programs compare to Affluent Academy, and Done For You Agency lead generation programs.

• Shawn’s programs are about optimizing Google Ads and Google My Business for better client results.
• Affluent Academy offers a well-structured course complete with CPD Certification. They cover an array of social media platforms to keep you up-to-date of future updates.
• Done For You Agency offers one-on-one sessions and marketing materials. They’re all designed for mastering Facebook ads.

While all of them have some merit, none of them give you the full-package you need to succeed, which is why I recommend the Digital Landlords, because it’s the one-stop-shop for all things local lead generation. And out of my hundreds of program reviews, I couldn’t find anything better.

What’s My Personal Opinion On Shawn Joshi’s Programs

Everyone who’s leaving their regular job to start earning passive income wants to get it right the first time.

I mean, who wants to waste their life savings on a program that ends up being a scam? Better yet, I wouldn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a course with low ROI.

That said, here’s how I arrived at a program that now earns me over $20k per month. When it comes to buying any program, I look for these specific factors.

1. The guru. The course should have a guru who has been successful with the program they’re fronting. Do they have real results to show for it?
2. Cost and ROI. The course shouldn’t cost an arm and leg. I’ve seen courses like the Rainmaker Challenge that advise you to take a loan yet don’t guarantee you anything.
3. The success rate of the course’s students. Does Shawn have a treasure full of success stories? Doing it yourself is one thing, but can you teach others?
4. What are past students saying about the program? Look for online reviews to see what people are saying about the course. If there are a lot of negative reviews or no reviews, this is a red flag.
5. Support and online community. You’re bound to hit a bump in the road. A strong community is there to motivate and give you advice on how they overcame the same situation.
6. Course updates. If you’re familiar with lead generation, then you know about Google’s algorithm, which keeps on changing. That’s why you need to go for a program with the guru’s finger on Google algorithm’s pulse.

Negatives

Shawn doesn’t have an online community for his students. That means you don’t have the advantage of connecting with more like-minded digital marketers. So you’ll have to work around the challenges you face by yourself.

It’s hard to tell if what’s on his website are real or fake reviews. I tend to think that if there are no reviews about a program on Quora, Reddit, BBB, or Trustpilot, then you can’t tell the effectiveness… unless you try it yourself.

Shawn says that his course has helped over 5,700 businesses. But there are no case studies to prove his claims. This pokes a huge hole in the success of Shawn’s programs.

By now, you pretty much know where I stand on this.

So, Is Shawn Joshi a scam?

No, he’s selling a perfectly respectable lead generation program. And more power to him.
